At this ti, the originally lively banquet hall was silent. The person who ordered the waiter to poison the wine hadn’t been found yet, and everyone was worried that the perpetrator would strike again. They all sat nervously in their seats, frightened and looking around.

Caleb clenched her waist tightly, gritting his teeth, “What if I wasn’t there? Or there was an accident you couldn’t avoid? You knew that wine was poisoned, but you didn’t tell !”
Xaviera guiltily lowered her head. She could indeed detect poison, but when she noticed the wine was poisoned, the waiter had already approached her. She didn’t have ti to tell Caleb, and the poison wouldn’t have hard her anyway. However, she didn’t expect Caleb to be so emotional.

How could she compensate him, by buying him a new suit?
The man twirled a strand of her hair and his voice carried a hint of seductive charm, “Compensate with a kiss.”
Xaviera’s mind buzzed, and her face instantly turned red. When did Caleb beco so skilled at flirting? Had he been secretly learning while she wasn’t looking?
At this mont, Sean Price knocked on the restroom door. Caleb let Xaviera down, helped her adjust her clothes and hair, and then allowed them to enter with an indifferent tone.
At this point, Caleb’s expression was normal, showing none of the flirtatiousness from before, while Xaviera’s face was still flushed, unable to shake off her shy appearance.
Sean Price and the hotel manager entered the room, and the mont the manager saw Caleb, his legs went weak, and he almost fell to his knees.
“Mr. Caleb Mat, we have checked the surveillance footage. Basil Carter and the waiter have indeed t and seem to be discussing sothing.”
The manager knew that Mr. Caleb Mat doted on his wife very much, and this matter involved Mrs. Mat’s safety. He said tearfully, “Mr. Caleb Mat, we will investigate this matter thoroughly and give Mrs. Mat a satisfactory answer.”

Sean Price quickly said, “The police are here, Mr. Caleb Mat. I have sent the surveillance footage to the police, but Basil Carter has no motive to take such a risk and poison Mrs. Mat. He has no grudge against her!”
Xaviera on the side, however, was certain, “It’s Basil Carter.”
Unfortunately, they had no evidence because the surveillance footage only showed that Basil Carter had t with the waiter, but they didn’t know what the two had discussed.
