With the guard dealt with, Adrian activated his unique [Mimic] skill again.

The skill allowed him to perfectly replicate the appearance and mannerisms of the guard he had just knocked out, seamlessly blending in and entering the facility without anyone stopping him.

’There had to have been caras there. I need to be quick before they realise what happened in there.’

At tis, even the most brilliant minds could overlook small details. But Adrian was prepared. He could simply vanish if the situation escalated and everyone got on his tail. It might be a hassle, but with his abundant mana reserves, he had no fear of being found out.

[The higher entity, The Monkey Sage with a Golden Headband, awaits to see what the User had planned for their entertainnt.]

[The entity, Sin of Pride, watches on, curious as to how a certain entity would react to her temple being desecrated.]

[The entities belonging to a particular pantheon sternly warn the User to stop the heresy and apologise.]

’Uh-uh, that won’t fly. Not after what happened last night,’ Adrian responded, much to everyone’s shock. ’You think you can ss with humans however you want? Well, newsflash: even pets can turn on their owners if they push it too far, and that’s what you did.’

The entities watched on in horror. They were strangely surprised at Adrian’s behaviour. But they had little control over him and couldn’t even do much.

Unlike Nexaria, where they had plenty of power, the Earth had long since forgotten about the entities. As such, their powers to affect anyone on Earth were limited.

It was one of the reasons the entities were so quick to recruit hunters to beco their apostles. Their apostles’ actions would again propagate their nas in a place that had forgotten them, allowing them to influence and shape the world in their image.

However, destroying their temples would reduce their influence in seconds. That’s why so entities cursed Adrian for taking such drastic asures just because of a prank.

Adrian knew this fact, and that’s why he was pushing through the system’s limits. Besides, even the admins knew they had ssed up, and to maintain fairness, there wasn’t much even they could do to stop him.

Besides, it wasn’t like if they did sothing, the other entities would let it slide. To top it all off, they were inside a dungeon, and all dungeons were created to close one day.

However, in their greed, so humans decided to forcefully keep it open. In a way, Adrian was doing the right thing by attempting to close the dungeon. His motives were questionable, but his actions weren’t.

’And that’s why none of you can do shit but watch ruin your plans.’ Adrian smirked, wondering what kind of face Hera would be making as she watched him destroy her beloved temple.

In the facility’s sterile, fluorescent-lit corridors, two workers in hazmat suits conversed in low tones as they went about their tasks. Adrian walked past them without paying any attention to them.

"Hey, you there!" one of the workers called out, his voice muffled by his suit. "We could use an extra hand in the lab. Would you mind lending us a hand?"

Adrian let out a sigh. He had been roaming in the facility, but it took a lot of work to know where he was supposed to go as there were no signboards to help him navigate.

Thankfully, he ca across so people and hoped they’d unintentionally help him, and it worked.

"Sure thing," Adrian nodded.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" the other man scoffed. "Get to it!"

It irked Adrian, but he felt everyone had morised the layout and knew where everything was, as the two didn’t tell him where he had to go. Either way, he shrugged and turned down a corridor to the left.

"Where are you going?" one of the workers interjected, sounding annoyed. "The lab’s this way."

"Oh, my bad," Adrian replied, scratching his head. "I’m new here, so-"

"Stop wasting ti and just go already," the other worker rolled his eyes.

Adrian didn’t bother with them anymore and left through the corridor. The facility, which had been mostly deserted so far, suddenly sprouted with life as he noticed countless people working on god knows what.

People in lab coats and hazmat suits were running everywhere. Adrian even spotted so guards working amongst them. For a mont, it made him wonder if they had caught on to him.

But that didn’t seem to be the case, as everyone was busy doing their own thing. Suddenly, everyone stopped doing what they were doing and hastily cleared a path.

As surprised as he was, Adrian followed them. A mont later, a man dressed in an elegant suit entered the facility through a different gate. It seed everyone was expecting the man and, hence, had made themselves look busy.

Adrian didn’t know it, but he was looking at the man in charge of maintaining the facility, Henry.

"I hope everything is going well?" Henry asked the workers and the scientists involved in the creation of mindless terrorists.

"Of course, sir," a sharply dressed blonde woman replied, adjusting her specs. "Everything is proceeding as per the schedule. No delays are expected despite the loss of several agents last night."

"Very good," Henry replied, turning to leave. "Make sure the consignnt is prepared by tomorrow. It would take the best of the soldier to shake up Washington. We can’t spare any expense."

"Of course, sir," the woman nodded. "Lady Maria will not be disappointed this ti around."

"I hope you’re right, for your own good," Henry muttered as he walked away.

Once Henry left, everyone breathed a sigh of relief and returned to work. However, trouble was at Adrian’s doorstep as a couple of workers ca rushing in, asking for Henry.

"What business do you have with him?" the lady from before asked them.

"We discovered a guard unconscious in the changing rooms! There’s been a breach in the facility!"
