Emma, Jacob and Joseph huddled together in the dimly lit room while Adrian made himself comfortable on the sofa.

They had never seen anyone fight with such ferocity, and they could see the blood covering Adrian’s fists and clothes. None of them even wanted to imagine how those White Tiger Clan mbers looked if the one who defeated them looked so shit.

Fearing the worst, they were scared, unlike they had ever been before. How could they not be afraid when their plan to enlist the White Tiger Clan to intimidate him into giving them the company had backfired horribly, leaving them at the rcy of the very man they had sought to eliminate?

Joseph and Jacob exchanged nervous glances, their earlier bravado evaporating faster than alcohol under the sun. With their protectors gone to hell, they knew they had to do sothing to manipulate Adrian. After all, their lives were now in his hands.

"Th-thank you, Adrian," Joseph stamred, attempting to hide his fear under the mask of false gratitude. "Those thugs were harassing us, demanding to give your location to them, and we’re grateful you took care of them for us."

Jacob nodded vigorously, his voice trembling as he added, "Yes, thank you, my son! God knows what they would have done to us if you hadn’t arrived in ti to save us!"

"Save your breath," Adrian replied, staring at them with cold, calculating eyes. "I know exactly what you were up to."

Joseph and Jacob exchanged panicked looks. If Adrian knew what they had done, their false attempt to manipulate him would fail, and god knows what he would do to them.

Sensing the dire situation, Emma used her brain and gently reached for her phone to call the authorities. It didn’t matter how strong Adrian was, once the DRA and other associations stepped in, there was nothing even he could do to them.

However, her heart sank when she realised her device had no network. She looked up, only to see Adrian’s smirk as he looked at her.

"Do you really think I’d be foolish enough to walk into this ss without taking precautions?" he taunted. "I had a friend to install a jamr here before I entered. No matter what you do, no one is coming to help you bastards. You’re all alone now."

The colours drained from Joseph, Jacob, and Emma’s faces as they realised the extent of their problems. Adrian had already thought of everything, and they were entirely at his rcy, with no hope of outside assistance, especially with the White Tigers gone.

Jacob fell to Adrian’s knees, his voice trembling as he begged for forgiveness. "Please, Adrian, we didn’t an any harm. We were just... scared and wanted to secure our future-"

"Is that so?" Adrian sighed, shaking his head. "You people could have told earlier about it. I’d have helped you gladly, and all this ss would have never happened."

Adrian got up, gently lifting Jacob by grabbing him by the shoulders. "You’re my stepfather. Of course, I can forgive you."

Adrian then walked a few steps backwards, letting everyone think he was leaving. But the mont Jacob dropped his guard, all hell broke loose.

Without warning, he lashed out, delivering a brutal kick to Jacob’s knee, causing him to cry out in agony as bone snapped beneath the force of the blow.

Jacob scread in pain as his legs folded unnaturally. But Adrian had just started introducing pain to his stepfather. He grabbed Jacob’s face while he writhed on the floor in pain.

"You morons thought you could get rid of that easily?" Adrian growled, his voice low and nacing as he stared right into Jacob’s eyes. "Well, you thought wrong."

With that said Adrian began to rain blows upon Jacob’s defenceless face. Each strike was followed by a sickening sound of bones crunching whenever his fist t Jacob’s face.

Blood spattered across the expensive white carpet as Jacob’s cries grew more desperate, his face contorted in agony. But Adrian didn’t stop until all of Jacob’s teeth were lying on the ground, mixed with his blood.

By the ti Adrian let him go, Jacob’s face was beyond recognition. His eyes were swollen shut, his nose broken and looked like a wet noodle, and there wasn’t an inch of his facial bone that was left in its place.

All this ti, Emma and Joseph watched in horror as Jacob was beaten into senselessness. However, they couldn’t really care about him at that mont as they knew a similar fate awaited them.

"It’s your turn now, little brother," Adrian growled, walking towards Joseph, who shoved Emma between him and Adrian.

"P-Please Adrian! I swear I had nothing to do with this ss!" Joseph yelled, hiding behind Emma. "She’s the one who planned everything! Take her if you want sothing to quell your anger. I won’t mind even if you turn her into your slave-"

"How can you say that!" Emma yelled, breaking free from Joseph’s grasp. "You and Jacob were the ones who planned this out on the night I went to et Adrian! How can you bla for this!?"

However, Joseph didn’t hear anything after the part where Emma went to et Adrian. He couldn’t comprehend why she would want to et him despite knowing their history.

"Why... did you go to et him?" Joseph yelled, taking a swing at Emma. "How dare you betray the family like this!"

"What family? You didn’t have any problems selling off instead of facing your problems like a grown-ass man!" Emma yelled back, holding her stinging cheek from Joseph’s slap.

"Shut it," Adrian sighed, rolling his eyes before looking at a shocked Emma. "You left for this bastard? Really? If you’re going to cheat, at least level up and find soone better..."

Saying so, Adrian pushed Emma aside, not wanting to even touch filth like her.

"As for you," Adrian snarled, looking at Joseph. "I know she had nothing to do with the dungeon incident. And now, I’m here to make you suffer for your mistake, just like I made your father suffer."
