Chapter 4597: The Dust of Ti Essence Stone
This ti it was Lin Moyu’s turn to ask, "What is a calamity bound one?"
He had never heard of such a thing, but from the tone of the Primal Chaos Stone, the calamity bound one clearly wasn’t simple.
The Primal Chaos Stone explained: "When the world faces a great calamity, sotis a calamity bound one will be chosen. The calamity bound is the central figure of the disaster, often possessing certain qualities. So calamity bound ones are highly gifted and blessed, and the world decides they have the right to beco Supres, so they’re granted the identity."
Lin Moyu said, "Isn’t this a good thing?"
The Stone shook his head: "Not necessarily. Sotis, a calamity bound one is born because of sothing they did that affected the next disaster just as you did, Master. In all the worlds I’ve seen, nine out of ten calamity bound fall; only rarely does one break through to beco Supre."
He continued, "Being calamity bound is a double edged sword. There are both advantages and drawbacks, and they tend to go through so terrible things their ends are often tragic."
Lin Moyu’s heart skipped a beat, "What sort of things?"
The Stone replied, voice tinged with mystery: "All sorts betrayal by kin, turned lovers, backstabbing brothers, and more.
As the calamity bound one, you beco the center of the world and the object of countless envy. Many will be affected by world’s rules, their minds changed, unknowingly seeing the calamity bound as an enemy it’s a shift in fate."
"It’s not just a tragic end for the calamity bound often their friends, too, are impacted and et poor fates."
Lin Moyu frowned, "So now that I’m calamity bound, I’ll beco everyone’s enemy?"
"Not necessarily, but the odds are high. You must prepare," answered the Stone.
Lin Moyu thought over many things, muttering: "My family and friends have all been sent into my world; they’re free of ties to this one, so should escape the Wilds’ influence.
Only my wives remain in this world it looks like I’ll need to hasten their relocation."
The Stone agreed, "Sending them into your world is a solid strategy; if you prepare well, you’ll have a free hand. The chance of a calamity bound reaching Supre is not low I believe you can handle it."
"You sure think highly of ," Lin Moyu shook his head, knowing what lay ahead.
’The Dao,’ Disaster Sovereign, and that hidden opponent all aspire to be the Bloody Butcher.
According to world’s logic, they’ll beco his enemies in a life or death struggle.
With foes like these, who exceed standard Sovereigns, the challenge is imnse.
Right now, he had no other options but to face them head on and hope to survive.
"In the end, power solves everything. If my fist is stronger than theirs, they can’t touch .
Enemies or not, I’ll destroy them all with one punch!"
Lin Moyu’s resolve was firm he cared little for sches and plans; only strength mattered.
He refused to be like Disaster Sovereign and plot endlessly. He had only lived a handful of years not much ti for idle sches.
He preferred direct action: see a problem, solve it.
Though he respected Disaster Sovereign’s planning, he wouldn’t be the sa.
Don’t take the winding path when the direct one suffices that’s his nature.
Since he was now calamity bound, his next step was to quickly bring his wives into his storage world.
Then he’d find Sovereign Boyang and investigate events in the small world, track where ng Wen and others had gone.
He still believed ng Anwen and the rest lived since Boyang Sovereign spirited them away long ago.
Yet after much pondering, it didn’t make sense for Boyang Sovereign to take them.
It now seed Disaster Sovereign had possibly taken them instead.
Maybe Disaster Sovereign wanted to use them for sothing but why leave traces of ng Anwen’s activity in the great world?
This was sothing Lin Moyu needed to figure out.
He resolved: "When my rebirth is done, I’ll ask a favor of you."
The Stone answered: "Just give the order, Master. If it’s within my ability, I’ll do it."
His attitude was much improved; arriving at a new cluster of primordial vortices, Lin Moyu observed carefully.
This cluster’s vortices were much larger than before.
With just one glance, Lin Moyu spotted several potential targets.
He flew in alone, setting up the formation, with the Disaster Scepter at its core.
Though this was the third ti, he was now quite adept.
When the formation was complete, the Balance Gem shone balancing the formation and vortex forces. Lin Moyu plunged in directly, launching his next trial by death.
A kiloter wide vortex brought in even greater destructive power from the Life Restricted Zone.
Lin Moyu dove in and was instantly annihilated.
The Stone watched him cycle between life and death, sensing the world’s subtle changes.
With each 500 rebirths, when Lin Moyu’s body strengthened, the Stone detected the calamity accelerating again.
Lin Moyu had truly beco the calamity bound; the disaster he triggered sped up as his power increased.
Calamity is hard to weather especially as one chosen by it, where death seems almost certain.
Yet the Stone believed Lin Moyu could make it through.
Not far off, the vortex’s power shifted, and formless force swept across the void.
Suddenly, the Stone saw sothing drifting in the emptiness a particle tinier than dust, but striking amidst the void.
The Stone instantly drew it in.
"Ti Essence Stone!"
He frowned; this speck, smaller than dust, was an exceptionally rare Ti Essence Stone.
More precisely, it was an insignificant fragnt of one.
Sensing it, the Stone found a faint but real aura it ant soone had had a complete Ti Essence Stone, used it for sothing, and after use it shattered, leaving tiny fragnts behind.
Even broken, a Ti Essence Stone is a supre material no one would simply discard it.
"Let’s see who’s lucky enough to have found a Ti Essence Stone."
The Stone activated the Elent Gem and Realm Gem, using their power to trace the past.
With the fragnt as focus, the ti trace was precise.
Soon he glimpsed scene after scene: a full Ti Essence Stone drifting through the void, not evolving into a creature.
A huge hand appeared and seized the stone.
"It’s him!"
