Chapter 4598: Fourth Cycle of Self Destruction

In the image produced by the Realm Gem’s projection, a large hand appeared and firmly seized the Ti Essence Stone.

Earlier, the Primal Chaos Stone hadn’t explained that the Ti Essence Stone itself, while unable to evolve into a living being, was so powerful that at least a Grand Sovereign was required to grasp it.

At the ti, Lin Moyu’s body and soul strength were only just beneath a Grand Sovereign, so only by activating his ascension could he grasp a Ti Essence Stone.

The scene showed that hand gripping the Ti Essence Stone, steady and unshaken, making clear the individual’s realm at least a Heavenly Sovereign.

At that mont, the Primal Chaos Stone already suspected the identity.

When the image revealed the person’s appearance, the Primal Chaos Stone was unsurprised: Disaster Sovereign the sa Disaster Sovereign who had obtained the Ti Essence Stone.

The stone wasn’t small, and the great hand squeezed tighter and tighter; soon cracks appeared on it.

The cracks multiplied, eventually splitting the stone into four or five pieces; a Ti Essence Stone the size of a fist was forcibly broken apart.

As it shattered, a few grains of dust like fragnts flew out, disappearing into the void.

Disaster Sovereign clearly didn’t care about these flecks, simply collecting the fractured stone and leaving contentedly.

With a wave, the Primal Chaos Stone stopped the tracing.

He noted Disaster Sovereign would surely use the Ti Essence Stone, though nobody knew for what.

He was fully aware of the world’s rules: once used, the Ti Essence Stone causes ti disarray.

Using ti powers to trace the past would clash with the stone’s activation, possibly alerting Disaster Sovereign, and creating interference that blocked further viewing so he stopped.

Lin Moyu didn’t want to provoke Disaster Sovereign at least not yet.

"The Ti Essence Stone was split into several pieces, reducing its power but greatly increasing quantity.

What will he do with it?"

There are many possible uses for the Ti Essence Stone; Disaster Sovereign certainly won’t waste it, so whatever he does, it will be important.

The Primal Chaos Stone recalled Lin Moyu ntioning the small world disappearing in a surge of great temporal force.

He’d previously assud an old man in a green robe was responsible, but now it could just as well be Disaster Sovereign.

Analysis was not the Stone’s strength after a brief effort left his head aching, he simply left this problem to Lin Moyu.

He stowed the grain of Ti Essence dust, intending to hand it over once Lin Moyu’s ordeal was completed.

Amid the vortex’s flickering purple light, Lin Moyu continued growing and adjusting in his cycle of rebirth, progressing from faint awareness to full bodily control.

He clearly sensed himself growing stronger and grew to a deeper understanding of the Life Restricted Zone.

He felt the barrenness and loneliness inherent in the Zone, which exuded a terrifying power that destroyed anything entering including living things.

"Disaster Sovereign was right in one sense: Grand Sovereigns belong to the third tier; those who surpass them the ’Dao’ belong to the fourth, but this fourth tier remains unstable.

True fourth tier power is only achieved by Supres; if Grand Sovereigns are the peak of tier three, then Emperor Breaking Blue is the peak of tier four.

To enter the Life Restricted Zone, one must reach the fifth tier; so far, only the Disaster Scepter and the system have entered that fifth tier."

Disaster Sovereign’s ability to clarify power tiers cos from having surpassed the Grand Sovereign himself, touching that level along with the ’Dao.’

Only with such mastery can one comprehend all.

During Lin Moyu’s rebirths, he mulled over unresolved questions, slowly clarifying the entire sequence of events.

Disaster Sovereign likely learned much within the deepest Wilds; he even knew of the great calamity.

Thus, after making his breakthrough, he waited for the calamity to arrive his chance at becoming a Supre.

His plotting and sches were unmatched throughout Chaos Wilds; after the second great calamity, no one outshone him.

Reflecting, Lin Moyu saw he had fully adapted to the vortex’s Life Restricted Zone energy its power now failed to kill him, so his rebirths naturally stopped.

He had no idea how many rounds of rebirth he had experienced, but at the beginning, he had no consciousness at all.

Now, his body and soul seed poised to reach their next limit the true limit of a Grand Sovereign.

Sensing his rebirths, he’d endured three cycles; the little tree was doing its best to help him recover rebirths, so he had thousands more in reserve for another round.

"Find another vortex."

With a thought, Lin Moyu retrieved the formation and flew off.

The Primal Chaos Stone studied him: "Master, your body and soul are already close to the Grand Sovereign’s limit."

Lin Moyu nodded. "Just about; a few thousand more deaths should do it."

He didn’t have the Stone’s ability to see the exact edge, but he could feel his own body.

The limit is a fuzzy concept; once a body and soul reach a certain level, it becos apparent.

The Stone said: "If I’m correct, after you reach the Grand Sovereign limit, your body and soul will keep improving a foundation for future entry into the Life Restricted Zone."

"You can consider it early adaptation."

Lin Moyu nodded. "Understood; this has happened before. Let’s find another vortex."

"I already did over there."

In the deepest part of this cluster lay a vortex over ten thousand ters wide.

Now that Lin Moyu had partly adapted to the Life Restricted Zone’s force, if the power wasn’t strong enough, it could no longer induce rebirth.

His flesh traversed the cluster, ignoring chaotic forces his body was stable as a boulder, unaffected by all energies.

Although his body was just nearing the Grand Sovereign’s limit, in this place, a Grand Sovereign would lose a fight to him.

Only in Chaos Wilds itself could Grand Sovereigns employ world level Daos to combat Lin Moyu, and even then, their chances weren’t great.

Even Lin Moyu himself couldn’t tell what his limit was.

He set the formation, balanced the energies, and plunged once again into the fog ford by the Life Restricted Zone instantly annihilated.

The fourth cycle of self destruction formally began; Lin Moyu grew stronger with each rebirth.

The Primal Chaos Stone, anwhile, observed the world’s subtle transformation, sensing that as Lin Moyu grew, the progress of the calamity advanced.

"Chaos Wilds is on the verge of its end!"
