Mo Roulan didn’t have any emotion on her face as she looked at the man in front of her. On the other hand, Wang Weimin looked too emotional as he stared at his daughter.
"Xiao Rou..."
His voice ca out slightly choked as he whispered his daughter’s na.
For a mont, he couldn’t believe that all grown up girl in front of him was his daughter. She was so small when he had seen her last before leaving his hotown.
"How have you been?"
He asked as he blinked his tears away.
In response, Mo Roulan only stared at him indifferently. Her eyes went to his expensive suit. She could even tell seeing his shoes that they were very costly.
In all these years even in her past life, she had always wondered where her father would be. Was he alive or dead?
How was he doing?
She never dared to ask her mother about this because she never wanted to see her upset.
Hence, in both of her lives, she didn’t get any answer...until now.
Looking at him, Mo Roulan knew instantly that he didn’t need her worries at all. He must be doing well in all these years while her mother was struggling with every penny with her two children.
She only felt a slight ache inside her heart and that was all for her mother and not for her so called father.
Wang Weimin was nervous when he didn’t hear any response for Mo Roulan. He opened his mouth to speak again
"Xiao Rou..."
However, before he could finish he and Mo Roulan heard a voice.
"Roulan..."
Mo Roulan looked behind Wang Weimin and saw Chi Rong walking towards her. She stiffened for a mont wondering if Chi Rong would bla her mother for Wang Weimin’s presence.
But as she rembered how Chi Rong had been taking care of her mother in the past few days, she relaxed.
He would not be so unreasonable if he truly cared for her mother.
On the other hand, Chi Rong frowned when he saw the man standing in front of Mo Roulan. He didn’t recognize Wang Weimin as they have never t each other but looking at Mo Roulan’s expression, he thought that the man might be irritating her. So he asked politely as he stood between the man and his daughter
"Mr. what do you need?"
Mo Roulan was touched when she saw Chi Rong’s actions of protecting her behind him silently. But Wang Weimin frowned hard when he saw Chi Rong.
He had seen the sa man by Lin Qianru’s side.
He suddenly rembered what Lin Qianru had said inside. She said that she was married to soone else.
Was it this man?
Wang Weimin felt his heart contracting and suffocation filling it up when he thought this and imdiately told himself that it was impossible.
They never divorced.
It was impossible for Lin Qianru to remarry as it was against the law.
But sowhere in his mind, he also rembered that Lin Qianru also had said that she had signed the divorce papers and sent them to him.
Sowhere Wang Weimin knew that the things were out of his hands and many things had been done behind his back but he refused to accept it.
So he gathered his confidence and looked at Chi Rong as he said
"I don’t think that has anything to do with you. I am here to see my wife and daughter."
Chi Rong frowned hearing the rude words while Mo Roulan smiled coldly when she heard Wang Weimin. She stepped out from Chi Rong’s behind and said to Wang Weimin.
"Then you are at the wrong place, Mister."
Wang Weimin eyes flashed with pain when he saw Mo Roulan’s indifference and heard her call him Mister instead of father.
Could it be that she didn’t recognize him?
Thinking this, he stepped forward to hold her hand but Mo Roulan instantly avoided him.
Though hurt, Wang Weimin swallowed it and said
"Xiao Rou...it is father. Don’t you rember ?"
Chi Rong’s eyes flashed when he heard him and for a mont he was blank. He had actually never asked Lin Qianru about Mo Roulan and Mo Chen’s biological father. Actually, he never got the chance to do so.
After he ca to know about her disease, he just wanted to marry her hurriedly so that the treatnt could get started soon.
He suddenly looked at Mo Roulan who still looked indifferent.
In fact, she chuckled coldly at Wang Weimin’s words and said
"You are my father? You must be mistaken. I and my brother have only one father that is him."
Mo Roulan looked at Chi Rong as she said these words.
She even stepped beside him and held his arm as she said
"Dad, he entered Mom’s ward when the nurse was not here and I went to see you. Mom didn’t look happy to see him."
Mo Roulan indirectly wanted to tell Chi Rong that she and her mother never knew that Wang Weimin was coming to the hospital today. She even told him that her mother was unhappy to see him so that he would not feel insecure.
Chi Rong’s eyes went slightly red when he heard Mo Roulan calling him ’Dad’. He had wondered if Mo Chen and Mo Roulan would ever call him like this. But he never expected to hear this in such a situation.
When he heard Mo Roulan saying that the man even entered Lin Qianru’s ward and she was not happy, Chi Rong’s eyes went cold.
Keeping Qianru happy was their topmost priority now so that her treatnt could go well and he wouldn’t let anyone do otherwise.
So he said to Wang Weimin coldly
"Mister, I hope that you have already understood that my wife and my daughter don’t like your presence. So it will be better if you will leave"
Wang Weimin was enraged when he heard Chi Rong talking to him like this. He was about to give a nice response but Chi Rong didn’t let him say anything and threatened coldly
"If you don’t leave then I will call security."
At this mont, Chi Rong looked so intimidating that even Wang Weimin was forced to take a step back.
When he realized what he did, he glared at Chi Rong but in the end, he could only leave silently. After all, he knew that if the security co then he would be dragged outside.
Today, things were not in his favor but soon they will be.
