Rocky let out a long breath through his mouth, and then he simply froze for that mont.
The freezing air blanketed his face, and the first signs of frostbite began to appear on his nose—he had mostly lost sensation there at that mont.
Rocky gritted his teeth and began to eat the last fire pill. Soon, the heat from the fire pill started stirring in his veins, erasing the cold.
He lightly rubbed his nose as it regained its initial warmth and feeling and stepped forward.
But was he comfortable?... Not at all.
He had already used the last fire pill, and worse, he still hadn’t found any way to get out of the snowstorm.
But it couldn’t be helped... he guessed he would die in this harsh environnt instead of being killed by monsters.
How ironic.
Rocky tossed two common pills for Bobby and Matt before standing up while hugging his beasts and moving forward. Sotis, he glanced up at the snowstorm-choked sky with so intention.
Should he try flying? But he just shook his head slightly. He wouldn’t repeat his mistake.
Flying in the snowstorm was a stupid decision. Not only because of the countless monsters, but also the freezing cold would kill him.
Even thanks to the trait of the fire pill, he wasn’t sure it was able to keep him going in the sky until he found the end of the snowstorm. Anyway, the fire pill was simply sothing with a limited duration.
"Damn! How long do I have to wait for the snowstorm to go away? It’s been three days," Rocky groaned in powerlessness.
To kill ti and forget the freezing as he heavily trudged through the thick layer of snow, Rocky summoned the ranking board.

He didn’t need to rember the feeling from the low-tier area anymore. The past was just the past.

Rocky saw a massive, hollow tree trunk across his path. In happiness, Rocky and his beast quickly ran over there. After observing it for a minute, he climbed inside the bark... and slept.

Rocky squeezed his eyes shut for a mont before drifting back to sleep, ignoring the system’s announcent.
To him, sleep was more important than anything.
Six hours later.
This ti, what woke him wasn’t the system’s notifications, but sothing else... chaotic shouts mixed with the clash of steel. The noise from outside made him frown.
At this mont, Rocky looked like an innocent kid sleeping peacefully in his ho, while outside, a battle was raging.
And just as Rocky began to regain full awareness, his treasured shelter ca crashing down as a massive monster unintentionally slamd down onto it.
Reflexively, Rocky summoned a longsword and stabbed the monster from behind before it could stand up.

"Fu*ck you! Why is there always soone ruining my good mood?" Rocky clenched his jaw while glancing around.
Then his emotions shifted—into surprise.
A fierce battle was raging outside. To his surprise, the monsters’ enemies were a human troop.
They wore leather outfits reinforced with steel plates. Their beasts were the sa, geared up from head to toe.
"Kill those bastards! Don’t let them get close to the supplies!" A green-haired guy roared, warning his fellows as he fiercely charged into the hordes of monsters.
He and his beast—a humanoid lion—unleashed a series of blows, killing the monsters closing in on the supplies ahead.
A destructive duo, but it wasn’t enough against the overwhelming pressure from the monsters. His force was already showing clear signs of fatigue, on the verge of collapsing.
"Hold on, everyone... If the supplies are destroyed, our campaign is over too!"

"Protect the supplies... even if we die."
As if fueled by a new wave of adrenaline, the humans charged at the monsters without fear. As a result, the hordes began to fall.
They smiled—but only for a few minutes. Soon, their faces tightened as a new wave of monsters erged from the thick snow.
The monsters’ faces glead with cruel delight as they witnessed the humans’ despair.
Seeing the human troop shivering yet still holding on, they wanted to crush that spirit. In the next mont, they lunged at the humans... however—
Painful screams suddenly echoed from the rear of the monster horde, growing louder with each passing second.
The vague shadowy figures hid themselves within the rain of thick snows, relentlessly sweeping through each horde of monsters.
"Reinforcents?" The green-haired man frowned, glancing into the distance.
