Rocky dashed forward, at the sa ti swinging his longsword in all directions in a bizarre style. Combined with his skillful movent, he could dodge all attacks from the monsters.

Not over yet—Bobby and Matt also backed him up, helping slaughter the horde of monsters. Their gazes locked onto the monsters, murderous intent peaking—the result of stress building up day by day under the snowstorm.

At so point, the place was nothing but piles of corpses scattered across the snowy ground, blood flowing everywhere, only to be quickly covered as fresh layers of snow fell.

The green-haired boy frowned as he approached Rocky. He paused for a mont and asked,

"Who are you?"

His eyes stayed alert on Rocky, a ton of questions swirling in his head. Surely, if there was soone strong among humans, he would know them. After all, he had t all the top 100 players—there wasn’t a single one he didn’t recognize.

But Rocky was different. From what he’d seen of Rocky’s performance, he had to be at least top 50... yet he had no clue who he was.

It was strange... like Rocky was a top player who had just started showing up... or maybe soone who didn’t care about climbing the ranks, only wanting to stay in a safe spot.

Whatever the case, he’d get the answer soon enough.

Rocky blinked a few tis and then jumped off the corpse, shrugging his shoulders.

"Great question... I’m nobody... you just need to know I’m on your side."

He had decided not to reveal his identity or situation—he didn’t want to end up like before when he faced the demons. The smarter move was to stay mysterious. That way, he could gain the upper hand and extract information from them.

The green-haired boy scowled but then just sighed. "Thank you for your help."

"N-No~... It’s not helping... it’s a trade-off," Rocky said calmly.

The green-haired boy spoke with an irritated tone.

"What do you an?"

Rocky chuckled and pointed at the supplies the troop had been surrounding to protect.

"I want a part of it. Fair price, right?"

The green-haired boy frowned as he gazed at Rocky. At that mont, he realized Rocky wasn’t soone to ss with. And after witnessing Rocky’s power, he made his decision.

"Take a part of it, and get out of here," he said coldly.

Rocky nodded in satisfaction.

"Very well. You’re a smart one."

Monts later, Rocky, Bobby, and Matt leisurely walked to the supplies. Rocky opened a wooden box, took out a thick coat, and gazed at it like it was a treasure. anwhile, his beasts were munching on the common pills from the box, enjoying them contentedly.

He glanced at so nearby wooden boxes and opened them, rubbing a few items before picking what he needed.

Five minutes later, Rocky approached the green-haired boy and asked,

"Where did you find them?... Of course, if you show sothing useful, I might just beco an escort for you guys."

The green-haired boy frowned and rubbed his chin several tis before nodding. He agreed not because he believed Rocky’s words, but because he had no choice at the mont.

They had already withstood waves of monsters around seven or eight tis—it had been a brutal day. Their exhaustion and morale were starting to show. Having a strong individual like Rocky around would be a huge help.

Just keeping an eye on him would make things easier.

"Alright, let’s make a deal."

Three hours later, another wave of monsters appeared and attacked.

Three hours later, after wiping out the wave of monsters, they found a proper place to shelter. Luckily—no, it had to be—they even managed to find a spot surrounded by old spruces, which would help lessen the impact of the snowstorm.

Rocky sat by a bonfire, eating an apple inside a sturdy tent made from materials the troops had provided. Thanks to its sturdy construction, the tent could withstand the snowstorm without any trouble.

Since they had been cooperating, they had kindly given him so necessary supplies.

It was a smart move following them, but he knew it was only temporary.

Rocky glanced through the hole in the tent at the snowstorm, which still showed no sign of ending, before returning his attention to the bonfire—Matt and Bobby were already asleep.

He lay down on the fur coat, thinking about what he had talked about with the green-haired boy, Paul, earlier.

It was a long discussion, and he already knew about his situation. It seed quite complicated to think about.

"So... I’m going to et you soon, Scarlet."
