Darius held in his hand what looked like a pill, but rather than the smooth white appearance of ordinary pills, this one was semi-black with several bumps across its surface whenever he ran his fingers over it. It was rather strange, but when he saw its description, he couldn’t help but marvel.
Spatial Pill!
Able to enhance the size of the Dantian by a large margin. Even in the entirety of Dragon City, Darius was confident that such a pill did not exist—not because of his own knowledge, but because even within his alchemy inheritance, there was no record of such a pill.
That was how precious it was, and this was why he was deeply shocked when he obtained it from the lottery on the final draw. If this wasn’t a gift from God, then Darius truly didn’t know what to call it.
Unfortunately, there was only one.
Without any hesitation, he imdiately swallowed the Spatial Pill. He promptly sat down and waited quietly for the dicinal effects to take hold.
"Bam."
Very quickly, a trendous change occurred within his body. It was as if his Dantian had beco an ocean, with raging waves surging endlessly. Each ti the waves crashed, the space within his Dantian expanded a little further.
One ti, two tis, three tis.
The space within Darius’s Dantian continuously enlarged at a shockingly rapid pace.
He felt as if his body was about to burst apart, but in truth, the Dantian was a small world of its own. Even if it beca larger than the entire planet, no physical changes would appear on his body.
Darius, with the help of the Spatial Pill’s dicinal effects, stimulated the continued expansion of his Dantian. At this point, every bit of growth could only be beneficial.
Ten tis, twenty tis, thirty tis!
Darius was overwheld with astonishnt and joy, for a large portion of the dicinal effects had yet to be expended. So, to what extent would this allow his Dantian to expand?
But after thinking about it more carefully, this was only normal. This was an alchemical pill that the system had described as "Heavily Sought After," one that would move even powerful warriors regardless of their realm. Yet now it had been consud by him, a lowly martial artist of the True Qi Realm. How could its effects not be extraordinary?
Unfortunately, people could only dream of such a pill falling into their laps unless they possessed the ans like his. For a mont, Darius realized just how fortunate he was. Without the system, obtaining a treasure like the Spatial Pill would have been almost impossible.
At the end of the description, however, it was clearly stated that a cultivator could only consu a single Spatial Pill in their lifeti. Taking a second one would produce no effect whatsoever.
If not for this restriction, Darius believed he would eventually get his hands on more of these pills through the lottery. He might even shalessly beg the system for them. So what if he lost face? What mattered was increasing his strength.
On the other hand, for most cultivators, the Spatial Pill was not particularly valuable because it was rare for battles to continue until their Spiritual Energy was completely exhausted, according to Darius’s understanding.
The increase in Dantian space only improved a cultivator’s ability to fight for longer periods. It did not increase the power behind each attack.
But for a minority of geniuses, this was an extrely precious treasure. Such individuals often fought until they had no way out. The larger the space within their Dantian, the longer they could continue battling, and on many occasions, this could save their lives.
Darius was, of course, even more pleased.
He possessed the Golden Bell Shield, and during his previous battle, he had clearly felt that his Qi reserves were insufficient to sustain it for long. Previously, the space within his Dantian had been far too small. There was simply too little Spiritual Energy available for his use.
Eighty tis, ninety tis, one hundred tis!
Finally, all the dicinal effects of the Spatial Pill were exhausted, and Darius slowly opened his eyes.
Expanded by a hundred tis!
If this Spatial Pill were consud by a powerful warrior in the Celestial Human Realm or above, the space within their Dantian would likely expand by only one percent. However, even that single percent would be more than one hundred tis greater than the total expansion Darius had just achieved.
There was absolutely no comparison between the two.
It was not because the Spatial Pill was lacking, but because his current cultivation level was simply too low. However, with every future increase in cultivation, the benefits from that enlarged foundation would continue to accompany him.
Though the percentage advantage would gradually diminish as he reached higher realms, the expanded Dantian would always remain larger than that of others at the sa level.
As a result, there was no disadvantage in taking the pill so early. On the contrary, the earlier he consud it, the earlier he could benefit from it.
The effects of the Spatial Pill could accompany a cultivator from the True Qi Realm all the way to the Divine Sect Realm, and perhaps even beyond. Unfortunately, the system had not specified the upper limit and, as usual, remained frustratingly vague.
He did not imdiately stand up.
Instead, he activated his Golden Bell Shield heart thod and continuously absorbed Spiritual Qi from his surroundings, refining it into his own Qi and storing it within his Dantian.
Though the space within his Dantian was now extraordinarily vast, the Golden Bell Shield, enhanced by his panel, was incredibly powerful and would continue growing stronger as long as he invested power into it. Combined with its cultivation effects, his speed of absorbing and refining Spiritual Qi beca astonishing.
Only a single hour passed, yet he had already filled the colossal space within his Dantian completely.
This also ant that in the future, should he exhaust his reserves in battle, he would require at least an hour to recover to his peak condition without the aid of alchemical pills.
Although he had fought several battles and expended considerable ntal and physical energy, Darius still felt remarkably energetic.
After reaching the ninth layer of the True Qi Realm, cultivation could partially replace sleep without significantly affecting one’s condition. Moreover, the battles he had fought were relatively short, so the expenditure was not particularly severe.
Darius suddenly felt John’s piercing gaze land on him and couldn’t help but turn his head in confusion, wondering what the latter wanted to discuss.
