Peng... peng... peng... peng!
Jas’s fireballs crashed into the Golden Bell Shield and actually created flashes of silver light upon impact. That was the Spiritual Energy of the fireballs being shattered and once again transforming back into Spiritual Energy.
With Jas’s current ability, he was not yet able to break through the shield of the Golden Bell Shield, but he was indeed much more powerful than Darius. The extrely powerful impacts were like rolling waves that crashed into the shield repeatedly, forcing Darius to retreat uncontrollably again and again.
When he saw the blade of his sword getting farther and farther away from Cody’s shoulder, Darius gave a cold humph, and seven flashes of Sword Qi swept forward at the sa ti.
Swoosh!
Cody’s left arm was also unable to escape the fate of being sliced off.
Seven Sword Technique!
"Ah!" Cody had fainted from the agony of his right arm being sliced off, but this strike actually caused him enough pain to wake from his unconscious state.
Darius quickly shot back in retreat and drew back his left hand. The Golden Bell Shield once again transford back into a shield that entered through his skin and protected his entire body, but this ti from the inside.
He looked a bit pale. After all, even with his ninth-layer cultivation, suffering such a round of powerful attacks from an Acupoint Qi Realm cultivator caused him to feel as if his body were boiling, so he was in a lot of pain.
The area was once again in dead silence.
At first glance, Jas was naturally at an advantage in their clash, being able to force Darius to retreat simply by sending several fireballs into the air. However, Darius had still managed to slice off Cody’s other arm with a single strike and retreat completely unscathed, so it also looked like it was his victory.
Aweso, he was really too aweso. Not just having power, but also courage.
Jas’s face was filled with powerful killing intent that seed to solidify around his body. His younger brother had both his arms crippled right in front of his eyes. This caused killing intent to blaze within him. He really had to kill Darius... he would definitely not let this matter go.
"Your previous actions have completely forfeited your own life," he said with a wooden, expressionless face.
As he walked towards Darius, his right hand gave a wave and drew out the long saber from his waist. It was eerily cold like autumn waters and was obviously an amazing weapon.
This move alone showed that Jas wasn’t rely a fire mage, but a weapon-wielding fire mage, a class that was rare to see even in the Guardian Empire, much less in the Sanctuary, which had yet to receive much attention from Earth’s guilds and powers.
Darius smiled calmly and said, "You have already moved twice, and I’m still standing here completely unhard. Your ability only goes so far!"
Although that’s what he said, he dared not underestimate Jas in the slightest. After all, when he compared their cultivation levels, there was actually a gap of several whole layers between them!
"Today, no one will be able to save you!" Jas declared coldly.
Every step he took created a heavy sound, and it was as if his footsteps were falling on everyone’s hearts, making them feel very uncomfortable.
"Oh, has this Dragon City changed its na to Wolf Fang?"
A clear voice rang out, and a tall man walked over. He looked to be about thirty years old and was quite handso. He was dressed in a crimson embroidered robe and walked with a majestic gait, possessing the aura of a king.
About a ter behind this man was a plain-looking middle-aged man who followed closely behind him.
"Eldest Prince! It’s the Eldest Prince of Dragon City!"
Hiss...
"Why is the Eldest Prince suddenly here? Didn’t he leave the Academy two years ago?"
"Coincidence?"
"Hehe, this is getting fun now. Jas completely takes himself to be the boss of the Academy, relying on Wolf Fang Guild, but the Eldest Prince of Dragon City is the real owner here. Is this a sign that these two are about to co into conflict?"
"No matter how aweso Jas is, he wouldn’t dare oppose the Eldest Prince publicly, would he?"
"Not necessarily. Just look at Cody’s previous arrogant display and how Jas wants to commit murder in broad daylight. They obviously have no regard for the City’s laws at all."
"Let’s just wait and see."
The spectators all started murmuring their thoughts and ideas to each other. Now that things had co this far, it was already a bit out of control; even the Eldest Prince had co to involve himself in the matter.
It should be known that Dragon City, although a small city in the Sanctuary bordering demon territory, was by no ans weak. For a guild to dare to do as they pleased inside a city, especially inside that city’s Academy, was a clear provocation toward the ruling family of Dragon City.
"Jas, why are you not paying your greetings when you see the Eldest Prince?" the middle-aged man behind the Eldest Prince rebuked coldly.
No matter whether it was guilds, organizations, or anything else, anyone from the ruling lineage of a city or empire deserved respect. Aside from the fact that they ruled and provided protection for the people, guilds in reality only acted submissively in front of them because of their power and nothing else.
But no matter the reason, everyone had to show respect in a way befitting of cultivators!
Jas hesitated slightly for a mont, then raised his clasped hands in the Eldest Prince’s direction and said, "Jas hereby greets Your Highness, the Eldest Prince of Dragon City!"
How arrogant. He actually only raised his clasped hands in greeting.
The middle-aged man was about to speak up in reprimand again when he saw the Eldest Prince stretch out an arm, forcing him to swallow whatever words he was about to say.
"Jas, step back!" the Eldest Prince said.
