"Brother, save ! Save !" Cody was both surprised and delighted. In his eyes, there was nothing that Jas could not do. As long as his brother was here, he would be saved.

"And who do you think you are?" Darius asked calmly. There was no hint of disdain in his tone, as if he were rely stating a simple fact. He was genuinely telling the truth; he had no idea who this guy was. His knowledge of both the Sanctuary and Earth was still extrely limited.

’After this event, I should find a way to gather more information.’

The thought beca even stronger in his mind. He hated being ignorant of important matters, especially now that he was running a pavilion.

Jas could not help but feel killing intent rise within him. However, when his eyes swept over Cody, he said, "Let go of my brother, and I can spare you this one ti."

"You speak as if you have so special status." Darius snorted. "Since both brothers are finally here, I can get started."

He slowly raised his sword.

What, he had not acted before because he was deliberately waiting for Jas to appear?

In reality, Darius had indeed dragged this matter out to clean up all potential problems in one go. Instead of frightening the grandson and waiting for the grandfather to appear, he might as well lure out the father and settle everything at once. As for whether he had the strength to do so?

Laughable.

Who said strength was represented only by cultivation realms in situations like this?

This... this was really too arrogant, wasn’t it?

Deliberately waiting for Jas to appear before making his move... was he trying to form a life-or-death enmity with Jas?

...What the others did not know was that these two young n already had a life-or-death enmity because of the orders issued by the higher-ups of Wolf Fang. However, in the eyes of the guild and Jas himself, erasing Darius from this world was a trivial matter, so they had never taken him seriously.

"Brother! Brother!"

Cody struggled frantically and cried out, his face covered in tears and snot.

In the end, Jas was moved and said, "If you dare, then I will definitely kill you today!"

Both sides were equally ruthless. One side wanted to slice off another person’s arms, while the other openly declared his intention to commit murder. It was as if neither of them cared about the Academy’s rules or the laws of the Guardian Empire.

"Idiot!" Darius said coldly as his sword descended in a swift slash.

"You are courting death!"

Jas shot toward Darius. With his abilities, he was confident he had at least a seventy-percent chance of blocking Darius’s strike.

Swoosh!

He was astonishingly fast, like a furious arrow released from a bow. Just as Darius’s sword was about to descend upon Cody’s shoulder, Jas’s hand also shot forward. Spiritual Energy surged out and wrapped around his palm, causing his entire arm to glow with a brilliant silver light.

Darius snorted and flicked his left hand forward.

Instantly, Strange Fire wrapped around his fist as he punched toward Jas.

Imdiately, Jas’s expression changed.

He could sense that the flas surrounding Darius’s fist possessed the power to threaten his life. Though it was only a feeling, he trusted his instincts completely. Those instincts had helped him survive countless dangers and life-threatening situations in the past.

At this mont, he fully displayed his extraordinary combat instincts.

He suddenly punched the ground, using the opposing force to halt his montum. Then he swiftly retreated.

Darius’s punch struck only empty air.

The flas he displayed were rely the basic Ignition Technique from his alchemy inheritance. After pushing his cultivation to the ninth layer, he had discovered that even alchemy-related techniques appeared on his panel. Thus, he had invested five years of power into the technique, raising it to perfection.

It should be known that it had taken only four years of power to advance from a cripple to the fifth realm. Yet improving this simple alchemic fla had consud an astonishing five years of power, clearly demonstrating just how extraordinary the fire truly was.

However, on the battlefield, while Jas could dodge and retreat, Cody could not.

Puff!

Blood splattered into the air, and Cody released a miserable scream.

His right arm had been completely severed.

He had really cut it off.

He truly had.

Everyone was stunned.

The Wolf Fang brothers were already infamous for being overbearing and lawless, yet Darius was not the slightest bit inferior to them. He had actually severed Cody’s arm in front of everyone with a single strike.

"Ah! Ah!"

The entire area fell silent.

Only Cody’s agonized screams echoed throughout the Academy grounds.

Jas’s face beca completely ashen.

"You have successfully enraged ," he said darkly. "Today, there is only one fate awaiting you—death."

"Hmm?" Darius asked calmly. "You’re angry over just this?"

He casually raised his sword.

"I still have one arm left to cut off."

Hiss...

Everyone drew in a cold breath.

This guy really intended to cripple both of Cody’s arms.

It was as if two tangible streams of killing intent shot out from Jas’s eyes. When he looked at Darius, it seed as though he wished to bore a hole through him with his gaze alone.

"If you dare touch another hair on my brother’s head," Jas said coldly, "I will kill your entire family and everyone related to you."

Woosh!

Darius’s sword descended once more, giving Jas the most direct and uncompromising answer possible.

"F***!"

Jas could not stop himself from cursing.

This ti, he charged forward again, but he did not dare get too close. Instead, he punched forward from a distance.

His Spiritual Energy suddenly condensed into dozens of tiny silver fireballs, which transford into a devastating barrage rushing toward Darius.

Tier-1 High-Level Spell, Torrential Fireballs!

The power of a third-layer Acupoint Qi Realm expert, combined with a Tier-1 High-Level Spell, was definitely not sothing an ordinary True Qi Realm cultivator could withstand, no matter how monstrous they were.

Indeed!

This was the source of Cody’s confidence whenever he spoke of his brother.

Jas was only seventeen years old, yet he had already achieved such cultivation. With an A-Rank Awakening Talent, his future potential was terrifying. It was no exaggeration to say that Wolf Fang Guild regarded him as one of their most valuable future pillars.

The tiny fireballs shot forward violently, filling the sky like raindrops during a torrential storm.

How could such an attack possibly be blocked?

Darius maintained his sword stance with his right hand while extending his left hand outward. A golden light suddenly expanded around him, unfolding like a giant umbrella. As it spread completely around his body, it transford into a massive golden bell that enveloped him from every direction.

Golden Bell Shield!

A defensive heart thod capable of changing shape according to his will.
