Chapter 550 I was very happy today
Gu Yan packed up her stuffs in the office. Fearing that Mo Yichen would be angry because of her working overti, she went at a steady trot out of the office even though she wore high heels. Hearing the rhythmic sound, Li Qian, who was still working, smiled and ignored it which was getting farther and lower.
Gu Yan trotted all the way. When she got out of the company, she got a thin layer of sweat. She gazed into the distance to look for Mo Yichen’s car. Mo Yichen had already seen Gu Yan from distance, but he didn’t hurry to call her because he wanted to see her reaction.
Mo Yichen’s heart softened when he saw Gu Yan looked around anxiously. He raised his hand lazily and pressed the horn once. Because it was abrupt in this quiet environnt, Gu Yan’s ears caught it imdiately. She found Mo Yichen’s car following the sound of the horn.
Gu Yan strode toward the car, from which Mo Yichen got out.
Mo Yichen got out of the car as soon as Gu Yan saw the car. He stood beside the car leisurely and watched Gu Yan ca over in a hurry. And then he walked to the side of the passenger seat and opened the door before Gu Yan arrived. Gu Yan smiled at him and got into the car.
Mo Yichen laughed stealthily when he saw Gu Yan’s guilty smile. How could he really be angry with her? He was just worried that she worked without a ti limit.
Gu Yan sat in the passenger seat and saw Mo Yichen’s tall figure got into the small car that seed very cramped. Because Gu Yan wanted to keep a low profile, Mo Yichen, in order to satisfy her, drove her car. The car of won was small and exquisite. Although it did not match to him, he was willing to make any concessions for Gu Yan.
“I am wrong, and it won’t be the case next ti.” Seeing Mo Yichen sitting down, Gu Yan said hurriedly. Fearing that Mo Yichen would be unhappy, she thought it was a good idea to apologize first.

Gu Yan was surprised for a mont and couldn’t figure out Mo Yichen’s idea. But one thing was certain that Mo Yichen was not angry. Thinking of this, Gu Yan finally relieved and unconsciously showed a blush on her face. Mo Yichen pretended that he didn’t see it and started the car.
“How are you today?” The atmosphere in the car gradually eased. Mo Yichen spoke tily and broke the silence.
“I live a very productive day.” With a smile on her face, Gu Yan turned her head to Mo Yichen and said seriously. She knew that Mo Yichen could not see her face, so she continued, “I am really happy today.”
Gu Yan was really happy. As long as in the field she was good at, she could be as easy as a fish in the water. Both of them understood this.
Mo Yichen didn’t care what Gu Yan had learned. He only cared whether Gu Yan was happy and whether she lived a aningful day. Fortunately, Gu Yan’s answer was what Mo Yichen wanted.
Gu Yan also knew that this was the answer that Mo Yichen wanted. She did not say anything about her work and the sense of accomplishnt and satisfaction that this job brought to her. She just ntioned her joy that brought by this job. As long as she liked the job, she could do it very hard and indulge herself in it.
Mo Yichen didn’t need to look at Gu Yan’s face and knew her solemn appearance. As sighing about Gu Yan’s seriousness, he was also painful to Gu Yan’s effort and stubbornness. She didn’t have to work so hard and make herself so tired.
Thinking about it casually, Mo Yichen shook his head and put these thoughts aside. Gu Yan didn’t like that he had this kind of ideas and never thought work as a burden.
What an earnest woman! Mo Yichen sighed again in his heart.
It imdiately occurred to him that he had not responded to Gu Yan.
“Good for you. As long as you are happy, I will be happier than you.” It happened to be a traffic jam. Mo Yichen turned his head and looked into Gu Yan’s eyes. His eyes were like bottomless pools that attracted Gu Yan.
Gu Yan was startled slightly. Mo Yichen always said so words of love inadvertently, and she was touched every ti because she knew that what he said was the truth. And he really regarded her happiness as a source of his happiness and tried every possible ans to make her happier.
“Yeah, I know.” Gu Yan said nothing more and simply responded. She also firmly believed that Mo Yichen knew what she thought.

She chose to believe in Mo Yichen’s abilities. Mo Yichen was not a person who would behave for personal gains, so it was better to ask Jiang Jingcheng what he had done first.
As Gu Yan thought about it, she couldn’t resist the gradually coming drowsiness. So, she turned her head sideways and fell asleep.
When Mo Yichen saw Gu Yan fell asleep, he rolled up the car window. He took out the spare blanket from the back seat of the car and placed it on Gu Yan lightly. Gu Yan frowned slightly, as if so issues were still on her mind in her dream. Mo Yichen stretched out his hand and smoothed the traces of worry on her forehead. After that, he stared blankly at Gu Yan’s face.
“Whistle!” At this mont, a horn sounded behind them. Gu Yan moved uncomfortably. Mo Yichen saw that the traffic situation in front of him had improved, so he started the car slowly. But he drove slowly and the journey ho was also slowly lengthened.
