Chapter 549 Absorbed in work
Mo Yichen was busy the whole afternoon because he had taken on the work which should be done by Gu Yan and Jiang Jingcheng. And his office was swarming with people coming and going, while Jiang Jingcheng’s office was another scene.
Jiang Jingcheng got along well with the employees of the studio, and the employees usually liked to find him when they had sothing to deal with. So, the situation today was really rare. He had nothing to do, but if he left, it would seem that he was stingy and uncollected. He was really mad at Mo Yichen in this afternoon.
It was not easy to wait until it was ti to get off work. Jiang Jingcheng wanted to leave the office imdiately to shun Mo Yichen, a nuisance in his eyes. And Mo Yichen wanted to pick up Gu Yan early. At the sa ti, both of them walked out of the office. It would be embarrassing if they went back at that ti. So, they had to continue but not to the elevator.
They changed their decisions simultaneously. Jiang Jingcheng went to the external studio, while Mo Yichen went to the drinking room. At last, Mo Yichen left hurriedly until he thought he would be late for picking up Gu Yan.
Jiang Jingcheng was pretending to talk with employees. But actually, he was observing Mo Yichen stealthily. After he saw Mo Yichen walk out of the studio, he sighed with relief and then really talked with the employees about work. Thinking that Mo Yichen had left, he went downstairs slowly.
It was near the ti that Gu Yan got off work, so Mo Yichen speeded the car up as he cursed that Jiang Jingcheng was a trouble maker. Although it was ti to co off work, the rush hour didn’t co. Therefore, Mo Yichen arrived at Auslet before Gu Yan got off work.
He had sent a ssage to Gu Yan that he would wait for her in the downstairs parking lot. But Gu Yan always didn’t pay attention to her phone while working. So, Mo Yichen wasn’t sure whether Gu Yan saw his ssage. He opened his eyes wide and looked for Gu Yan among the crowds.
Almost all people left. Mo Yichen’s eyes got tired but he still didn’t see Gu Yan.
“What’s wrong?” Mo Yichen asked himself in his heart.
Maybe she didn’t see his ssage. Almost half an hour passed. Mo Yichen took out his phone and confird that he really sent Gu Yan the ssage. And then he dared to use the Plan B, ringing her up.
The ringtone lasted for so long that Mo Yichen thought it couldn’t be answered. But at that mont, the call put through.
“Hello, this is Gu Yan. May I know who is calling please?” Gu Yan said in a formulaic fashion and a deliberately low voice. Hearing that, Mo Yichen knew that she picked up the phone without looking at the phone. That also explained why she didn’t reply his ssage.
“Do I need to make an appointnt to pick you up, President Gu?” Mo Yichen asked in an ironic tone. Hearing Mo Yichen’s voice, Gu Yan looked up at the clock and found that she should go off work more than 30 minutes ago.
“Is he keeping waiting downstairs? He can really do in this way!” Gu Yan answered her own question in her heart. How ti flied! Gu Yan felt that she just walked into the company, but, in the blink of an eye, it had been more than half an hour since she should get off work.
But Li Qian, who was sitting in front of Gu Yan, didn’t intend to leave. Actually, Gu Yan didn’t want to leave either. She indeed learned many highly effective thods. She just couldn’t manage ti and resources well before. So, she studied hard in order to use the thods in her studio.
Gu Yan made a thoughtful plan.
“Gosh! You ca to pick up ? But I have sothing to do now. Can you wait for for a few minutes?” Gu Yan was a little guilty because Mo Yichen hated most that she worked without a sense of ti. And now she worked overti at the first day in Auslet. She assud that Mo Yichen would chatter about that the whole day. Thinking of this, she beca anxious.
Gu Yan couldn’t comfort Mo Yichen because Li Qian was there. She hung up the phone after a few words and continued her work. But half of her mind wandered to Mo Yichen to share with him her emotions and what she had acquired today.
“Your boyfriend cos to pick up you? You can go first. I almost finish my work.” In the small room, Li Qian heard clearly what Gu Yan said over the phone, though Gu Yan said in a low voice.
Now that Gu Yan’s boyfriend ca to pick up her, Li Qian would like to do her a favor. After all, she could finish the rest of the work soon. Gu Yan was indeed a charming workmate. She was ticulous in working and could do her work accurately and effectively. Li Qian admired this point very much.
After hearing that Li Qian made fun of her, Gu Yan was a little embarrassed. But she didn’t intend to conceal her relationship with Mo Yichen. She didn’t want Mo Yichen to pick her up because she didn’t want to show off. After all, she went here to learn. If she was always picked up, gossip would appear.
Gu Yan didn’t want to be involved in this trouble.

Gu Yan also felt sothing strange. Although sothing had to be dealt with by Wang Sha, she disregarded it and left the office upon the ti to off work. Gu Yan was confused, but she thought it was not suitable to ask. After all, it was her first day she worked here. Li Qian had to prepare sothing for Wang Sha to use tomorrow, but Gu Yan couldn’t help with it. So, Gu Yan left the office after saying goodbye to Li Qian. At this mont, the sun had completely set, and the sky was gradually becoming dark.
