Aiden shifted in the booth, a sense of restlessness washing over him as he realized his wife had been gone for quite so ti.

"Excuse ," he said firmly to the n at the table before rising, disregarding any comnts they might have made about staying put.

With purpose, he strode in the direction he had seen Ariel go, scanning the crowd for a glimpse of her or soone who resembled her.

He was starting to wonder where he had gone but he was also ready to uncover where she'd disappeared to.

He looked at the center of the club and saw only unfamiliar people dancing to the slow music, he imdiately removed his eyes and searched sowhere else; he knew Ariel wouldn't have suddenly gone dancing.

He searched further by walking toward the other side of the club but he suddenly rembered that Ariel had told him that she was going to take a call.

He imdiately turned and headed outside; that must be where she went to; it was more reasonable to take a call where there was less noise; why hadn't he thought of it soon?

He walked out of the club and imdiately found Gregory standing behind Ariel by the side of the building.

He sighed in relief and walked up to her.

"Hey," He put his arm around her and hugged her side.

Ariel raised her head to look at him, "Hey," She smiled at him.

"You've been gone for long, you know, I got worried," He said, his voice conveying his truth.

Aiden was now scared of leaving Ariel alone; the last ti he did it three years ago, he never saw her again, so leaving her out of his sight for a long ti wasn't an option.

Gregory took a step back from them, he didn't want to stand there and fill his ears with their sweet words.

Ariel smiled, "It's just twenty minutes," She teased.

"A lot can happen in one second, not to ntion twenty fucking minutes," He frowned at her.

Ariel reeled her head back to properly stare at his face, "Okay, chill, Papi, I'm here now, let's go joke?" She asked softly.

Aiden's eyes darkened as he heard what she called him. He dragged her closer, his hand going behind her waist and slowly sliding down to her ass, "You're starting it, Moma, don't bla for getting ideas," he warned huskily.

Ariel laughed, slapping his hand away from her ass, "Baehave, we're in public, let go," She held his hand and dragged him toward the car.

Gregory saw them heading to the car and imdiately went to open the door for them.

"Thank you, Greg," Ariel said to Gregory as she got inside the car.

Aiden got in beside her and imdiately shifted to her side, his hand resting on her lap.

Ariel borrowed her brows, "Your side's over there," she said, glancing at Gregory who was now starting the car in front of them.

Aiden shook his head, "Nah, my side is right beside you," He whispered.

Ariel scoffed, "Can you just go? We're making your bodyguard uncomfortable," She pointed to Gregory as he now moved the car away from the club.

"I don't care," He said and kissed Ariel, gently placing his hand behind her neck and deepening the kiss.

Ariel had no choice but to kiss him back because, well, she wanted to kiss him too.

She placed a hand on his chest and gently tapped him, "Pity the poor guy, Aiden," She whispered.

Aiden stared at Ariel's beautiful face; he was done taking things slow; it was ti to be assertive.

"I have sothing to tell you," Aiden said, drumming his fingers on his lap.

Ariel tilted her head to look at Aiden, "What's that?" She questioned.

Aiden cleared his throat and leaned toward her, hugging her and placing his head on her shoulder, "We're going ho, Moma..." He said in a gentle and whispery voice.

Ariel frowned. "Yes, Papi, we're going ho, why are you telling ?" She asked, patting his back.

Aiden slowly shook his head, "I an our ho, Baby..." He kissed her neck and placed his head back on her shoulder, "Our ho, Ariel, I asked Dad to take Jace there already. Please, co ho; I can't be without you for one more day...please, it doesn't stop you from taking your ti, I'll respect that; I just want you back with , please," He begged, kissing her neck again.

Ariel sighed; she was now rubbing his back soothingly; she was quiet for a while.

She knew Aiden was never one to keep his distance, not that she was, but she had thought they'd lied separately until everything was settled, she didn't want to add his family drama to her problems, from what she'd heard, she was sure that Grandma Nari now hated her and was asking Aiden to marry Moon because they had a child together.

She sighed, this wasn't just about one person, it was about her and Aiden, and since Aiden was making an effort to get them back as a family, she wouldn't fight him, it wasn't as if she didn't love him anymore; she did, so resisting would just be prolonging what would still happen.

"It's okay...we'll work it out," She said.

Aiden smiled; he lifted his head, and stared into her eyes, "I love you," He kissed his lips and then hugged him again.

He knew he was getting sowhere, getting Ariel to live with him again was a huge step for him. This ti, he would make sure that he removed every obstacle that would make her leave his side again.

It was forever between them, with no breakups and definitely no divorce.

In front of the car, Gregory blinked and forced his eyes to remain on the road; his boss was still a shock to him; soone who had turned into an icy king was the sa person who was lting into a woman's arms like butter under the sun.

He wondered if this was what they called love, and he wondered how it would feel to witness it with soone. He'd never thought of finding his own person, but watching his cold boss look so happy and fulfilled made him understand that wealth wasn't entirely happiness; having soone who loved you just the way you loved them or more was the real wealth.

He wanted that, but where was he going to find it? He didn't want to fall into the arms of won like Moon or Eva...Eva; he frowned as he thought of her.

She seed quite different the last ti he saw her, but he knew her, just like Moon, manipulation never really departed from them.

He wasn't in a rush, but he was hopeful he'd find soone too; if his boss could, then he could too.

Ariel looked out of the window as they drove into Aiden's gate, she couldn't believe she was really back here. The last ti she left, she never knew it would be the last ti for her, she felt nostalgia wash through her.

Aiden watched Ariel's expression; she looked like she was reminiscing the past, he hoped she only rembered good mories.

"Welco ho, my love," Hw whispered in her ear as the car parked in front of the house.

Ariel sighed and looked at him, "It's...weird," she whispered.

She looked around the large compound; the tall building stood in the sa intimidating way, looking expensive and sophisticated.

"It's alright, I'll make you feel at ho soon, co on," Aiden held her hand.

They got out of the car, and Gregory drove the car away.

Ariel took in the fresh air of the night and turned her face toward the small gate at the far end of the compound.

"We'll visit the garden again soti," Aiden whispered behind her.

Ariel blinked, looking away from the gate, "I rember the first ti I was here," She murmured.

Aiden paused, chuckling lowly, he wrapped his arms around her and placed his face beside hers. "I know, I wasn't very welcoming," He said.

Ariel scoffed, "You were so an to , you almost pushed away, I didn't like you," She said quietly.

Aiden tightened his arms around her, "I'm sorry, I was just a stupid man, I was just too cowardly to accept that I was attracted to such an honest and beautiful woman. Thank you for not giving up on ; you're the best thing to ever happen to , Ariel; I love you, " He whispered.

Ariel turned in his arm, "You're a good man, Aiden, and I know you're doing you're best for and our son; I'll be an ass not to love you," she smiled up at him.

Aiden paused, and he blinked, taking a mont to let her words sink in.

"Wait, you said you love ?" He asked, his face beaming with fulfillnt.

Ariel smiled, "Maybe?" She shrugged.

Aiden chuckled and lifted her off her feet, "Yes! I'm sure I hear right; you said you love ," he spun her around.

Ariel was smiling widely, she held his face and placed her forehead on his, "I love you, Aiden," She whispered.

Aiden felt overwheld with emotions, he held her tightly and kissed her.

Once again, his once cold and deserted ho felt like ho.

Ariel felt happy, She didn't care anymore; she was ho, and this was where she would remain.

This was where she got back on all her enemies; speaking of enemies, Moon was sowhere in the club, probably begging the man she ran up to fuck her brains out.

She'd be so miserable in the morning, and Ariel was here for it, calling her sadistic; she didn't care. She considered herself to be rciful.

Karma was a bitch by the way, and this was just the start.
