Jace had excitedly run to his parents when he saw them walk into the house; that night, they took the boy around the house, after which they all retired to Aiden's room.

Jace's room was already prepared, but the boy decided to sleep with his parents, and they had no problem with that.

The next morning, Aiden was the first to wake up; his face imdiately lightened the mont he saw Jace and Ariel cuddling up beside him.

This was the most beautiful sight to wake up to; he felt so fulfilled and proud; he would give anything in this world to have these people by his side forever.

He quietly got out of bed and walked over to Ariel; he leaned down and kissed her forehead before kissing his son's.

He didn't want to wake them because they had slept quite late last night after touring the whole mansion, they deserved all the rest they could get.

He left the room and decided to go down to his office to do so work.

"Good morning, Sir," Anna greeted.

Aiden looked up to find her setting his food on the dining.

"Good morning, Anna. Please add two more sets to the table," He inford as he walked away.

"S-sir...two m-more s-sets?" Anna muttered, not knowing how to ask him why he needed two more; he'd been eating alone for three years, so why the sudden add up? And she hadn't seen anyone else in the house or was he expecting visitors?

Aiden was about other go into his office but paused when he noticed Gregory leading soone into his living room.

He frowned, already knowing who it was without turning, he wondered what she was doing here.

He slowly turned and walked back into the living room, giving Gregory a questioning look, he was sure he had warned Gregory never to allow her inside his house, especially now that he had his family with him.

"What's she doing here?" He asked Gregory.

Gregory bowed his head, "I'm sorry, boss. She insisted I could not use force on her," He apologized.

"You paid a visit; it's only fair I do the sa, Aiden; we're family, after all," Grandma Nari said and walked past Aiden to go sit on a sofa.

Aiden gritted his teeth and faced her, "What are you doing here, Grandma?" He asked, balling his fists to calm his rising anger.

This wasn't the kind of morning he had planned, he had planned a quiet morning with his family, not trouble with an old woman.

"I'm here to look for Moon; she followed you ho last night; it's ti to go back to her daughter; the girl's been sad since yesterday," Granmda Nari inford.

Aiden chuckled; he shook his head in mock disbelief, "You seem to be very forgetful, Grandma; you're searching for Moon in the wrong place. You know she's not allowed in my house, and I have no idea what you said. Moon didn't follow anywhere; I left her with you when I left your house. Even if I was aware she was following , trust , I would have sent her right back to you," He answered with a straight face.

Grandma Nari was confused; she thought Moon had said she was going to apologize to Aiden. What happened? Where did she go off to?

"You can leave now, Grandma, I'm about to do so work. And you don't need to visit ; we no longer share the sa view, so there's nothing for us to discuss," He inford and turned away from her.

"Aiden," She called and stood, taking a step and stopping behind him.

Aiden sighed, he was really trying not to be rude, but if he had to be then so be it, he wasn't about to let the old woman remain there and et his family, he knew she would cause trouble, which wasn't sothing he wanted his wife or his son to witness on the first morning they'd be spending with him.

"What did you want, Grandma?" He asked without turning.

"Aiden, my dear grandson, I know what I'm asking you to do is hard for you, but I've told you that it's for the face of the family, you know you're the face of the family, abandoning your child and mother of your child is a big stain to the fam-"

"I don't give a shit about your family, Grandma! I don't! I didn't abandon my child, I provide every fucking thing for her, I bought her a fucking house, just so she could live with her stupid mother, I provided a servant that caters for every of her damn needs, she goes to the best school, wears the best clothes, gets the best care any child could get. Tell , how's that abandoning?" He snapped his head to her and glared at her.

He was fuming, his Grandma was really pushing him to the wall, and it would be so bad if he literally lost it with her.

Grandma Nari took a step back, but her face was calm; she took a deep breath before she spoke up, "All those are materialistic, Aiden, what about your presence in her life? What about your bond?" She questioned quietly, afraid of fueling his anger.

Aiden chuckled and nodded his head, "If what you're insinuating is that I bring her to live with , that would never work. I'm still trying to find a way to see her as my child without rembering that I had her with soone I've taken as my sister for many years; bringing her to my house is a no-no; I can manage by just providing for her. And, you ntioned leaving or also abandoning the mother of my child...I don't give a fuck about her, you know that; even if I were to let the child in, which I won't, I'll never let that evil woman into my house ever again," He coldly reminded.

"Now, Grandma, please, leave, I don't want to-"

"Daddy!" Jace's voice interrupted him.

He looked behind him to find Jace running speedily down the stairs; he imdiately hurried over to the stairs to catch him; he was moving too fast, and he never imagined that toddlers could be that fast; he had a lot to learn.

"Hey, little man, good morning," He kissed Jace's forehead as he lifted him in his arms.

"Good morning, Daddy," Jace kissed Aiden's cheek, hugging him around the neck.

Aiden was patting the boy's back when he saw Ariel standing on top of the stairs; he saw her eyes going past him and looking at Grandma Nari behind him.

Everyone in the living room felt the tension in the atmosphere, especially Anna, who had a set of plates hanging midair to the table from the mont she saw a little boy flying into Aiden's arms; now, she was looking at Ariel standing above the stairs.

She was confused as hell and she was sure her brain was about to burst with the amount of tgiabakaianaga she was doing.

She wasn't alone in her thoughts; Grandma was beside herself, shocked; she couldn't believe she was really looking at Ariel; the boy in Aiden's arms was a double punch to her gut.

She had imdiately known he was Ariel's the mont she saw him; he looked exactly like her; if he were a girl, he'd be a complete replicate of her.

She was torn; seeing Ariel reminded her that she once loved the girl, but the picture Moon had shown her convinced her so much, and the child looked nothing like Aiden either; what was she supposed to do?

Should she really go ahead and ask them to divorce?

After all, it's past a year, and Ariel had failed to proud an heir as they had agreed. It was only fair she divorced her grandson as they had initially agreed.

"Daddy, is she my grandma?" Jace asked, pointing at Grandma Nari.

The question was a hard one for both Aiden and Grandma Nari to answer.

Aiden knew that the old woman didn't believe the child was his, and the old was feeling guilty for thinking of removing the child from the family; she could already feel he was a sweet soul, just like his mother.

"Jace, co here, let's go eat," Ariel walked down the stairs and took Jace from Aiden's arms.

"Good morning, Papi," She gave him a kiss on the cheek and smiled before proceeding to carry her Don toward the dining.

"Good morning, Lady Chaz," She greeted as she walked past her.

Ariel decided that she wasn't going to let the negative atmosphere affect her son; she was never going to let him feel unwanted for a second, especially not in his father's house. She was going to go on and show him how a normal morning should be in a family, not filled with resentnt, secrets, tension, and underlying hatred but filled with love, affection, peace, and protection.

"Hi, Anna, et, Jace, I and Aiden's son," She smiled at the shocked lady.

Anna was shaking as she carried Jace from Ariel; she stared at Ariel like she was seeing a ghost before she looked at the boy, and her eyes imdiately turned affectionate.

"Hi, young master, my na is Anna, but you can call Nana," She introduced.

"Hi, Nana," He kissed her forehead.

"Oh my," Anna gasped, feeling tears well up in her eyes, "He's such a gentleman, just like the father,"

"Watch your mouth, Anna, it's not confird yet," Grandma Nari interrupted.

Ariel smiled; she was getting bored already while waiting for this to happen. Now, this is how to start a morning, energetic and active.

She was going to make the old woman understand a few things.
