Chapter 267: When Will You Let et Your Little Girlfriend?

At the thought of Chi Jiao, Quan Jue pursed his thin lips.

“Let’s go. I’ll bring you to et soone.” Quan Jingzhou let go of his arm. “After seeing that person, let him tell you personally who’s the one who wants your life.”

Quan Jue sat down and lowered his gaze.

Seeing this rare show of obedience, Quan Jingzhou smiled gently and said to Quan San, “Drive.”

The black car drove steadily on the road. It quickly drove out of the city and into the sparsely populated suburbs.

Quan Jue closed his eyes to rest.

Suddenly…

The phone in his pocket vibrated. He opened his eyes, sat up a little, and took it out.

The caller ID showed Delicate Chi Jiao.

Quan Jue answered the call without hesitation.

Imdiately, a girl’s soft voice was heard from the receiver.

“Brother Quan, what ti are you coming ho?”

The car ride was too quiet. So, Quan Jingzhou, who was sitting beside Quan Jue, heard Chi Jiao’s voice as well. He couldn’t help but look sideways at Quan Jue with a faint smile.

Quan Jue did not notice him. His thin lips curled up unconsciously as he said gently, “I’ll be back in a while. You don’t have to wait for to have dinner. I’ll eat before going back.”

“Alright, then. You have to co back early.”

“Got it.”

After hanging up, Quan Jue’s expression returned to indifference as he closed his eyes once again.

It was as if the gentleness he showed earlier was just Quan Jingzhou’s hallucination.

“When will you let et your little girlfriend?” Quan Jingzhou asked him.

“I told you not to have any ideas about her,” Quan Jue said coldly with his eyes still closed.

“Xiao Jue, I’m doing this out of goodwill as your father.” Quan Jingzhou looked at him helplessly. “Why are you so hostile to ?”

“All these years, I’ve lived well without a father,” Quan Jue said coldly.

“You’re still blaming .” Quan Jingzhou sighed.

Quan Jue did not speak.

He had always felt that he had nothing to say to Quan Jingzhou.

As the current head of the Quan family, Quan Jingzhou could definitely be described as an ambitious and ruthless character.

Only his mother, that silly woman, would believe soone like him. In the end, she was driven crazy and her reputation was ruined.

Quan Jingzhou looked at Quan Jue’s side profile with a complicated gaze.

Actually, he had always felt that Quan Jue looked more like his mother, especially his eyes.

And this side profile was very similar to his mother’s as well.

As he couldn’t help but think of the woman in his mories, Quan Jingzhou felt as if his heart was being harshly grabbed by a large hand, causing him to shudder violently.

About half an hour later, the car finally stopped.

Sensing that the car had stopped, Quan Jue opened his eyes and looked out the window.

It was only then that he discovered they had co to an abandoned factory warehouse.

Quan San and Quan Jingzhou alighted before Quan Jue did.

In front of the warehouse stood a few burly bodyguards in black.

When they saw Quan Jingzhou, they all walked over.

“Master Jing.” The few bodyguards in black greeted Quan Jingzhou uniformly, looking very respectful.

“Let introduce you. This is my youngest son,” Quan Jingzhou said with a smile.

The bodyguards imdiately looked at Quan Jue and uniformly greeted him as Young Master.

“Where’s that person?” Quan Jue wasn’t interested in getting to know them. He looked sideways at Quan Jingzhou and asked.
