Tsk. Tastes like green fruit.

After nearly two months of unconsciousness, kissing those alluring red lips again had a flavor all its own.

After a while, Chen Mo finally pulled away from the Queen's soft lips and muttered, "I still prefer the Fengyang fruit flavor."

Queen dusa glanced up at Chen Mo, then retrieved a small jade box from her storage ring—the one that held her Fengyang fruit lip balm.

She handed it to him and, to his surprise, slightly lifted her lips and said, "Apply it for ."

"What?"

Chen Mo was stunned.

Since when did Queen dusa beco like this?

What the hell happened while I was unconscious?

Still, he didn't dare spoil the mood by asking. Instead, he obediently opened the jade box and began applying the balm.

But instead of applying it to her, he put it on his own lips.

Monts later, Queen dusa glanced at the bright red color on his lips, and although her cold deanor kept her composed, she nearly smiled. Her lips curved slightly.

Chen Mo leaned in again. "Queen Darling, now you can taste the Fengyang flavor too."

A long mont passed.

When Queen dusa actively licked the balm from the corner of Chen Mo's lips, it sent a rush of blood surging through his veins. Emboldened, he made an even bolder request.

He took a sheer purple dress from his storage ring and handed it to her with a soft smile. "Queen Darling, could you wear this for ?"

Queen dusa shot him a sideways glance before taking the dress from his hand. A small smirk played at her lips. "Close your eyes."

Chen Mo imdiately shut his eyes tight.

He felt her body leave his embrace, followed by the rustle of fabric.

His heart was practically thumping out of his chest.

No way... Is she really changing in front of ?

Unable to resist, Chen Mo raised his hand to cover his eyes—but left a small gap between his fingers.

"You're peeking?"

That cold, familiar voice suddenly pierced through the air. Then ca her indifferent words: "Then I'm not changing."

"No, no, absolutely not! I'll turn around, I swear!"

She really has sharp eyes... How did she notice that?

A mont later—

"Alright. You can turn around now," Queen dusa said.

Chen Mo turned around—and instantly felt his throat go dry.

There she was, lying on her side, propping her head up with one hand, dressed in the sheer purple gown. Her graceful figure was accentuated by the translucent fabric, with just the faintest outline of a crimson bandeau beneath.

"Queen Darling, do you know how beautiful you look right now?" Chen Mo slowly leaned in.

"How beautiful?"

"Beautiful enough to make soone commit a cri."

Chen Mo reached out and pulled her back into his arms.

He lowered his head and kissed her once more, his hands slowly sliding down to the hem of her gown, slipping beneath it until they reached her smooth, jade-like back.

Queen dusa's body trembled slightly—as though she had been touched by lightning.

Chen Mo was utterly captivated by the smoothness of her skin.

As he moved his hands, he suddenly brushed against a strap. Predictably, it was red.

It must be part of her red bandeau. After all, Queen dusa only ever wore red or purple.

Simple. Predictable.

But that wasn't the point.

He saw it.

Chen Mo's thoughts raced—not with desire (well, not only that), but with cunning. While distracting her with another kiss, he stealthily moved his hand toward the knot of the strap.

It was a simple knot. One pull and it would co undone.

And so he did—less than three seconds later, the knot was untied.

His heart pounded harder, a mix of excitent and tension building. His hands moved from her back to her front—

And then...

To his surprise, Queen dusa didn't push him away. In fact, she closed her eyes.

As if... silently allowing it.

A while later.

Queen dusa, face flushed, gently pushed Chen Mo away.

Reluctantly, he withdrew his hands.

Her eyes turned cold once again, that usual frosty deanor returning like a switch. Her voice was icy. "You're quite skilled with your hands. Practiced sowhere before?"

Her gaze held a trace of suspicion... and an unspoken implication.

Just say it already: "Was it with Die?"

But Chen Mo was no rookie. He didn't even blink as he said, full of sincerity and affection, "Never. This was my first ti. I only love you, Queen Darling."

While playing with a lock of her silky hair, he inwardly scoffed.

Seriously? You need practice for that? Every man should co equipped with this skill by default.

Queen dusa glared at him but eventually turned around. "Help tie it back."

"What? Really?"

"No problem."

Chen Mo redid the knot, this ti behaving himself and keeping his hands properly respectful.

"All done. Comfy?"

Just as he finished tying it, Queen dusa suddenly asked:

"Did you enjoy it?"

Chen Mo almost jumped.

What the hell?!

Queen Darling, did you really just ask that?

How the hell was he supposed to answer that?!

"Hmm?" She raised an eyebrow.

"...Mhm," Chen Mo gave a vague hum in response, thinking that was the safest way to go.

"Mhm. Then... can we sleep now?"

"Sleep? I..."

Chen Mo was going to wish her goodnight, but seeing how cooperative she'd been tonight, he decided to push his luck.

"I was hoping... you could help . With your hand."

The night air grew slightly cooler.

Before Chen Mo could process what was happening, Queen dusa had already left the side chamber.

When she returned, she wasn't alone—Die and Elder Ba Lu were with her.

"Chen Mo! You... you're awake!"

Die was about to throw herself into his arms, but Queen dusa stopped her with a firm grip. "What are you doing? Elder Ba Lu is here."

Die glanced at Ba Lu and had no choice but to suppress her excitent.

Ba Lu's eyes narrowed slightly, sensing that sothing felt... off. But he didn't press the issue.

He walked up to Chen Mo and, as usual, checked his pulse.

Monts later, he smiled. "Your breathing is steady, and your Dou Qi is circulating normally. It seems everything is fine."

"Really?!" Die's face lit up.

Ba Lu nodded.

"I feel fine too," Chen Mo added with a smile.

"That's great!" Die bead, her joy written all over her face. "Chen Mo, did you know? You've been unconscious for almost two months! You nearly scared to death!"

Yeah, I know. Queen Darling told everything last night... in great detail.

"Really?" Chen Mo smiled, then asked the question again, this ti aloud:

"So... what exactly happened after I passed out?"
