“Iwaitedforyoumyentirelife...andyouwerewortheveryminute.”ArdynLowellnormallyforgetshisdreams.He’sanormalyoungadultwhohasgoodfriendsandahappyfamily.Heshouldbecontentedwithhislife,butthere’salwaysthisnaggingfeelingofyearninginhisheart,alongingforsomeonethatneverseemstodisappear.Inhisdreams,however,herememberseverything.Heremembersthemanwhoalwaysvisitshim,themanwhoalwayssitsnexttohimontheedgeofthefountaininabeautifulgarden.Hecanneverclearlyseethefaceofthisman,buttheyearninginhisheartceaseswhenheiswithhim.Butwhenhewakesup,heforgetsthemanonceagain,andthelonginginhischestnevergoesaway.Thedayofhisgraduationceremonycomes,andArdynislate.Catchingtrafficontheway,heunexpectedlymeetswithamajorcaraccidentanddiesquickly,suddenly.Whenhewakesup,he’sinanotherworld.Inthisworld,thereexistsadark,maliciousentitythatthreatenstodestroytheentireplanetanditspeople.ThisiswhereSummonerscomeintoplay.Inordertosealawaythisentity,aSummonermustgoonajourneyandsearchfortheir7Guardiansinordertosummonthe7Spiritsthatwillaidtheminsealingawaythisgreatevil.Theymustnotfail,orelsenonewillbeabletosurvive.AsanOtherworlderGuardian,Ardynisfacedwithamassive,unfortunateburden.HemustsearchforhisSummoner,andhemustalsodiscoverhimselfandhispurposealongtheway.Thejourneyislongandfilledwithhardships,buttheyhavenochoice.Theyhavenochoicebuttosavethisworldinordertolive.
