"I don’t care about the ss you made, but I don’t like how you betrayed behind my back." rlin narrowed his eyes and said as he softly lined his finger over the gun’s barrel.

Jim stiffened at once.

He slowly started to understand.

rlin was more angry at his backstabbing compared to his actual cri. Is that it?

Jim’s mind raced. ’What should I do? What should I say? How can I get out of this ss?’

He had multiple questions but no answers.

The gun in rlin’s hands was only making his brain even more numb, not helping him think.

Who is the one who said that one’s brain works the most under pressure?

What nonsense?

He couldn’t think straight at all, alright?

With no other choice, he opened his mouth and started to speak whatever ca to his mind, "Boss. It is not like that. I never wanted to betray you or anything. All I wanted was an extra inco. That’s all. I never thought of betraying you at all. I swear. Please trust . I never thought of implicating you in my ss. Trust , okay? You know . I have been working for you for a long ti. How could I ever betray you? There is no way. I think there is a misunderstanding between us. Yes. That’s right. This is all a huge misunderstanding. Nothing else.

"Did soone tell you sothing about behind my back? May be they were trying to drive a wedge between us. Boss, think about it carefully. Why would I ever want to do things behind your back and betray you? You know .

"It is just that my mother’s health has been bad and I need so urgent money for her treatnt. So, I had no choice but to do this. But trust , this is a one-ti thing. I never did it before nor will I do it again. I am just doing it for my mother. You know my mother as well. Do you rember how she cooked for you with her own hands the last ti you visited our hotown?

"She treated you so well. Please think for her sake and leave , okay?"

rlin raised an eyebrow when he heard his words.

"Oh? Your mother’s health was bad?" He asked, stunned.

Jim felt that there was still so chance for him and his eyes shone as he nodded frantically, "Yes, Boss. My mother’s health was bad. Very bad. She needs urgent treatnt. If sothing happened to , how could she live alone? Who will take care of her? Please think for her sake. She is my mother. She had no one else in this world other than ."

He started to sell how pitiful his mother was and tried his best to use this situation to get himself out of this situation.

"Oh! How sad! You are right! We should definitely think about your mother." rlin said and Jim nodded while continuously muttering with ’yes’.

rlin looked at his assistant, "Give a call to his mother now. Let’s talk to her and check how she is feeling."

Jim stiffened at once when he heard him. ’This was bad!’

rlin’s assistant did not say anything nor did he react. He looked like he did not hear rlin at all.

rlin turned back to Jim as if he realized sothing, "Oh right! How can I contact her? I don’t think phones are allowed in the afterlife, right? Or did you use so ans to get a phone for your mother after her death?"

"..." Jim’s face turned pale. Yes, his mother was dead. He thought that since he never ntioned that to rlin, he could take that to his advantage and use her to get out of this ship first.

As long as he got out of this ship, he did not care if rlin found out about his lie later.

But he did not expect that rlin already knew about his mother.

"Why are you silent? Tell how can we contact your mother now?" rlin asked him again, with a face full of ’concern’.

"You still want to play gas with ? Do I look like a fool, who would believe everything you said?" rlin stopped his act and sneered coldly.

"So, tell . How do you want to deal with you?" rlin asked him seriously. He did not stop ’cleaning’ his gun in his hand.

"Um... How about forgiving and letting free?" Jim tried his best until the end.

rlin looked at him and raised an eyebrow in amusent. "Oh? Genius. I like it."

Jim showed his teeth and ’smiled’.

Looking at his smile, rlin stopped smiling.

He got up from the chair and raised his hand which was holding his gun.

One of his n ca forward and took the gun from his hand to hold it.

rlin stretched his other hand and another man ca forward to give him a bowl.

Jim couldn’t see what was in the bowl as he was still kneeling on the floor but he couldn’t help but frown at rlin’s mysterious and ominous looking actions.

rlin looked out into the sea and suddenly whistled loudly.

Jim heard the sound of flapping from the water.

The cruise was big. They were on the top of such a huge cruise.

If the fish was small, there is no way they could hear the sound from the place they were standing.

Jim had a bad feeling in his heart. He gulped on his saliva.

"B.. Boss," He did not know why he called out to him either but he did.

rlin did not turn to look at him and just raised his hand, gesturing to him to keep quiet.

"Don’t speak. Or you will scare him," He whispered softly.

"Wh.. Who?" Jim couldn’t help but ask him. Following rlin, he too lowered his voice and whispered.

rlin looked at him and smiled, "Oh? You didn’t et him before? He is soone I adopted a couple of years ago."
