"But you have to drag in, don’t you?" rlin finally looked at him.

Jim gulped on his saliva when he was suddenly looked at by rlin’s dark eyes.

"Wha.. What do you ... an by that, Boss?" Jim continued to stutter while acting innocent.

"Oh? I never knew you had talent in acting, Jim. I knew this talent of yours before, I would have helped you to set up an entertainnt company and you would be the first actor, right? You could have enjoyed all the resources. How great would that be, right?" rlin sneered.

"I don’t understand what you are talking about, boss. Acting? What acting?" Jim dodged his eyes.

rlin stood up from his chair after placing his glass to the side.

He then started clapping his hands slowly.

"How did I not notice this talent of yours before, huh? Looks like I really am blind, huh?" he spoke while clapping, not at all stopping.

With the sarcasm dripping from his words, no one could miss it even if one tried to.

Jim, on the other hand, was too shaless to agree just like that and continued with his innocent act, "Boss, I really don’t know what you are talking about. I really am not acting."

rlin’s assistant, who had been standing to the side from the start, couldn’t see his shalessness anymore and stepped forward, "Mr Reed. Please stop acting. How long are you going to keep this up? We already know that you are carrying the drugs in our cargo ships. We also know that you know what we are talking about. Now, will you stop with your act and face it like a brave man?"

Jim’s expression changed when he heard his words.

He thought that as long as rlin wouldn’t bring the topic up, he could still have a chance to leave safely.

Now that the matter was out in the open, he couldn’t pretend anymore.

he stopped trembling and raised his head straight to look at rlon.

"So? What are you going to do about it? Beat up using your n? Then give to the police? Do you think I can’t co out once I am locked up?" Jim finally started to show his true colors.

rlin’s assistant was shocked by this sudden change in his expression. He really knows how to act!

rlin, on the other hand, wasn’t as shocked. He even smiled. Then slowly, he started chuckling which later turned into a burst of full-fledged laughter.

In the middle of the sea, with no other boats around, under the sea breeze that was chilly, his laughter sounded maniacal and almost froze Jim to his bones.

After laughing for a while, rlin finally ca to a halt. He walked towards Jim and lowered his body to face him from a closer proximity before he chuckled, "Give you to the police? Tsk tsk tsk. Do I look like such a good person to you? Jim! Jim! Jim! Looks like you really forgot who I really am, huh?"

He straightened his back and took a gun from his back.

The black tip of the gun shone under the moonlight, almost blinding Jim’s eyes.

"Boss! You want to shoot to death? You can’t do that! Yes. You can’t do that. You know that if I am dead, you will be the suspect. You won’t escape this." Jim struggled to get rid of the rope around his hands and legs while he also tried to crawl away from rlin.

rlin burst out into laughter once again.

This ti, not just him but also his n around and his assistant started to laugh along with him.

It looked like Jim had said the most hilarious joke they had ever heard in their lives.

"Why... Why are you laughing?" Jim continued to crawl backward and asked.

"If I don’t laugh, what can I do, Jim? What did you just say? I won’t escape after killing you? Ha ha ha. It really is the most funny thing I have heard this year. Thank you for making laugh," rlin laughed again and said. "You underestimate a bit too much. Ha ha ha."

Jim slowly started to realize that this wasn’t the ti he should talk back to rlin.

He once again cowered and trembled as he asked, "But boss. You can’t do this to . Please. I just sold so drugs. That’s all. I did not do much. Do you have to kill for that? I think you should just give to the police. Yes, the police will punish with the punishnt I deserve."

He nodded at the end, as he realized that his way of escaping now was by getting arrested by the police.

As long as he doesn’t die today, he will be fine.

But rlin started to laugh once again. "Give you to the police? Jim, Jim, Jim. What goes on in that little mind of yours, huh? Why would I give you to the police? So that you can get the people behind you to help you get out?"

"B... Boss. Boss... please think carefully before you take any drastic action. You don’t have to do this. You shouldn’t get blood on your hands because of . You can just remove from your company and I will leave. That way, we don’t have to get entangled together ever again. Boss, please. Think about what I said." Jim tried to speak rlin out of his thoughts of killing him no matter what.

rlin sat on his chair and crossed his arms. He looked like he was pondering what Jim just said. He slowly nodded, "Hmm, you are right indeed. I could just fire you and I will be out of the ss you wanted to create for . Right?"

Jim nodded frantically, "Yes. yes. yes. Yes, Boss. That’s the best decision for both of us."

"Hmm... you are right. But what about how you betrayed ? I don’t care about the ss but I don’t like how you betrayed behind my back."
