"Hiss!!!"
On the snowy ground, a mountain-sized serpent opened its gigantic mouth wide, revealing two ferocious fangs as it cried out in agony.
Right at its vitals, nurous arm-thick wounds erged, exposing its crimson flesh. At that mont, a mighty energy brimming with a plethora of colors rushed into the wound.
"Sizz!"
Unimaginable destructive power erupted from within the multi-colored glow, causing the serpent’s flesh to vanish as if it were lting snow. Its extrely hard scales crumbled like paper, revealing a massive heart inside, all with a single blow.
"Thud, thud, thud..."
The exposed heart was still beating as blood oozed out like a gushing spring, quickly staining the earth beneath a bloody red.
The heart, which was now significantly damaged, had lost half its structure to complete devastation. The remaining half was riddled with arm-sized penetrating injuries.
Sneak attack successful — a direct blow!
Amidst a shower of blood, a formidable figure stood at the heart of the carnage. The fearful aura radiating from the being painted it as the most terrifying monster in the eyes of the gigantic snake.
Its eyes widened in fear, struggling to muster the remainder of its energy to escape from the terror before it. However, the next instant, a terrifying force erupted, shattering its remaining heart, along with a substantial part of its skeletal structure and muscle tissue.
The serpent succumbed with a mix of regret and fear in its fading gaze. It had no ti to regret its decision of preying on humans here before it hit the ground and lost consciousness.
"Boom, boom, boom, boom..."
The serpent’s corpse twitched sporadically, the remnants of its nervous system producing the last few movents under the effect of the remaining blood.
In the blink of an eye, the only figure standing was the blood-soaked terrifying figure of an ape, causing the onlookers’ hearts to quiver in fear.
Outside the serpent’s body, Li Ming was slightly taken aback by the damage he’d inflicted.
No, this serpent... how was it so fragile?
"I am indeed powerful!"
Li Ming clenched his fist, looking at the body before him, feeling sowhat unaccustod.
All of a sudden, I am this powerful, it’s making my determination and fervor flustered.
"No, it definitely wasn’t because of ..."
Li Ming contemplated this for a mont, then realized that the Five Elents energy within him had been completely depleted.
The previous attack had completely exhausted all the Five Elents energy within him!
"The unleashed power of Reverse Five Elents, coupled with the absorption of the Five Elents of nature, went far beyond my own strength," he concluded.
Li Ming touched the dead serpent’s scales. Once weak as paper under the reverse Five Elents power but now, they were exceedingly hard.
"Boom..."
With a loud noise, his mighty fist packing his physical power slamd into the dead serpent’s body. The impact knocked off a few scales and ripped off a chunk of flesh the size of a washbasin.
Li Ming frowned as he gathered his True Energy to make another strike.
"Boom..."
With a loud crash, a rock-sized lump of flesh, along with scales the size of a grinding disc, was blasted off the dead serpent’s body, but the flesh underneath was as hard as steel, difficult to damage further.
"It still didn’t work..."
Li Ming sighed regretfully. Looking at the enormous serpent corpse in front of him, such injuries were nothing but a minor inconvenience to this beast.
"If it weren’t for the explosive power brought by the Reverse Five Elents, it would be extrely difficult for to defeat this monster, let alone kill it — even with all my strength,"
Li Ming muttered to himself. Feeling the void of Five Elents energy in his body, he fird up his idea: "This apocalypse is indeed fraught with danger. I’m still too weak. I must lay low."
The earlier attack appeared grand and overpowering.
But the tal controlled by my telekinesis, draped with the power of the Five Elents, could only bring about such power. I’m not even sure how much of it contributed to the attack.
The True Energy attack occurred only after the serpent’s scales and flesh at its vital point were destroyed, leaving half the unprotected heart exposed.
This seemingly easy attack was solely based on the power of the Five Elents...
"And I can only unleash this powerful Five Elents energy once. Without this explosive strength, would I be able to kill my enemies?"
"This won’t do; it’s too dangerous, far too dangerous."
Li Ming shook his head repeatedly, then gazed back at the mountain-like corpse of the monster snake, a smirk creeping onto his lips.
"This monster snake was far stronger than any mutated beast I’ve encountered before, so its flesh should have extraordinary effects, no?"
"Perfect, the supplies of mutant beast at have been dwindling the past few months. Now I’ve got a massive replenishnt."
Li Ming’s smile widened, and without a doubt, the flesh of this creature would contain high concentrations of energy, which would inevitably accelerate his True Energy training and physical conditioning.
