Li Ming repeatedly admonished himself, eventually suppressing his restless heart. He looked at the creature before him, contemplated for a while, identified his location in relation to a city wall, and, with a gleam in his eye, sped towards a gathering point. He had initially been moving at a speed dictated by his ability to project his psychic energy to the edges of the outpost. Now, he had covered another five kiloters which allowed him to connect telepathically with Big Black.
"Moo?"
In the base, Big Black, who had been lazing under the sun and munching on barley sprouts under the snow, seed confused at the ntion of work.
Big Black raised its head, stood up, and looked around guiltily.
Realizing it was its master who was calling it for work, Big Black breathed a sigh of relief. It showed no dissatisfaction about being assigned duties while it was basking in the sun and munching on barley sprouts, and briskly walked towards the city’s gates.
Seeing Big Black coming over, Li Ming nodded approvingly. To prevent anyone from stealing the snake at, he quickly went back.
Upon reaching the place, he was relieved to see the large heap of snake at still in place. He then sat atop the heap of flesh, took out the pre-prepared blocks of mutant beast at from his pocket and nibbled on it leisurely as he awaited Big Black’s arrival.
Not long after, he saw Big Black’s figure approaching. Satisfied, Li Ming piled up the scattered blocks of at to form a massive heap and loaded it onto Big Black’s back.
"Carry all this at back to our yard, Ahuang will watch over it. Off you go."
Once all the at was strapped onto Big Black’s back, there was no more space for anything else. Li Ming chuckled, gave Big Black an admiring nod and watched as it trotted back ho with its load.
"In this apocalyptic age, what a fortunate beast it is to have as its master."
Seeing how diligent Big Black was, Li Ming comnded it under his breath. He then let out a sigh of relief upon feeling his Five Elents energy recover sowhat.
"From Tai Chi spring the two binary states, from the two arise the four symbols that derive the Five Elents, which are the essence of all things. Five Elents energy is the most fundantal and abundant energy in the world. Although it depletes quickly, it also recovers rapidly."
Li Ming pondered to himself and realized he needed to work harder on refining his Five Elents’ abilities. Otherwise, won’t he be caught in another embarrassing situation where, like this one, he had exhausted his energy after just using one out of his two ultimate moves?
The divine lightning ford by the reverse fusion of the Five Elents had an unimaginable destructiveness, and perhaps the Five Elents Shield created by the normal fusion would have an unimaginably remarkable effect, too.
However, having finished the Five Elents Divine Lightning attack, the power of the Five Elents was totally consud. He didn’t even get the chance to use the second ability. That was a bit of a disappointnt.
"Indeed, I shouldn’t be self-satisfied."
Having this thought, Li Ming shook his head quietly and then jumped onto the body of the monstrous serpent. He looked left and right at its massive body, found a place near its head, pierced a sword down into it, and began to vigorously pry open the serpent’s scales for future use.
The scales of this serpent could even guard against most of the power of his full-force punch. Its defensive ability far exceeded the crocodile skin and crab shell he was currently wearing, which had been damaged by his own trendous strength despite having taken no damage in persistent battles.
Especially this ti, his full attack against the giant serpent, combined with the terrifying power of the Five Elents and his physical strength, left his armor barely able to hold up and in tatters.
In this situation, it was obviously useless. It was just right that he used the serpent scales to create armor as a replacent.
"I am so much smaller than this creature. The serpent could only rely on a layer of scales and its powerful muscles for defense, but I can layer them. I could absolutely have five layers of scales, or even seven, eight, or ten layers, and directly put on the thickest armor. With that, my bodily strength might not even be able to fully destroy it."
Li Ming thought to himself that he had already figured it out. With him around, his won and family would essentially face no danger as long as they stayed near him. Instead of squandering resources on splitting the attention, it was better to concentrate all of it on him, increasing his chances.
As long as he was safe, they would be absolutely safe. But if sothing happened to him...
Li Ming silently shook his head: "How could sothing happen to , as long as I’m steady!"
Murmuring in his heart, Li Ming increased his effort to cut the serpent’s skin quickly under the observation of his telekinesis, from its head all the way to its tail. Except for the middle part that had been pierced through and couldn’t be connected, he cut all other areas into whole pieces and laid out a large piece of serpent skin on the ground.
Under the influence of his true energy, Li Ming was very fast. When he had finished cutting and Ahuang ca back, Li Ming gave it a large chunk of at to take back. He then looked at the mud on the ground soaked in serpent’s blood and shook his head, sowhat regretfully.
If it wasn’t for the hastily prepared ambush and the quick attack, maybe he could’ve collected this serpent’s blood.
Ordinary serpent blood couldn’t be drunk, but this kind of monstrous serpent’s blood might be different. It contained abundant energy in it, even so bacteria would have been completely killed by now.
Just like this skin, it’s so clean that it doesn’t seem like serpent scales...
"The factor of mutant abilities could keep the vitality of at for a long ti. This serpent at contains so much energy that it probably could be stored for a very long ti without refrigeration."
Li Ming felt the serpent at again and nodded in satisfaction. In this way, he didn’t need to worry about the at going bad, because this fact had been already confird from the previous mutant beast at. There would be no mistakes.
After thinking for a mont, Li Ming walked directly into the serpent corpse and started clearing the internal organs.
Under the help of telekinesis, all of the serpent’s internal organs were cleaned out by him and thrown outside.
Although there were many rumors of the special effects of a serpent’s gallbladder, considering the information from Liu Minghui that this monstrous serpent could spew a highly toxic mist, Li Ming wouldn’t dare to taste its organs, so naturally, he discarded everything.
Otherwise, if he wasn’t careful, it would be bad if he caused himself problems.

Although the serpent was dead, Liu Minghui and the others hadn’t co yet. He certainly could use his telekinesis to quickly move all the at away, but then he would have to explain again when they returned which would be a hassle. So, it was better to wait for them to co back.
"However, wasn’t this too flashy?"
