Lin Yi tried hard to recall the events during the "Banquet" in the Gymnasium. Unfortunately, his attention was mostly on the Angel Sculpture and Pseudo-Humans interwoven within the Giant Do. He paid minimal attention to Maozi, and now no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t rember much about them.
But vaguely, he seed indeed not to rember Mu Daxian being with Maozi and the others.
"That’s right! After the ’Banquet’ ended, Old Mo ca to find to go to the Art Building. This ans that Mu Daxian should have been heading to the Bell Tower at that point... Yes, it matches up now!"
Lin Yi’s eyes brightened, and he looked down at his hand—just about to check his watch, he suddenly felt worried, afraid that looking at his watch might anchor him out of this state.
Fortunately, he knew the ti corresponding to this period, so he decided not to check his watch.
Not long after, the "Banquet" comnced, accompanied by the opening of the Giant Do’s ceiling. The whole world seemingly turned pitch black. Sports Students and Art Students opened their golden eyes one after another, and the Angel Sculptures and Pseudo-Humans strung together like culinary ingredients clanked in the storm.
The entire Gymnasium Giant Do seed to transform into a dark cave, and the multitude of awakened people resembled bats within the cave.
Angel Sculptures and Pseudo-Human Sculptures struggled against chains, getting incessantly "refined" during the "Banquet". Those breaths perated out, to be inhaled greedily by everyone present.
The whole "Banquet" felt like a ritual where a group of morbid souls feasted upon the sparks of life.
Lin Yi observed how everyone was indulging ecstatically, fearing missing even a bite as if it ant others could consu more.
Even Mao Feiyang was shaking his head, engrossedly inhaling those golden breaths.
Lin Yi watched quietly, then suddenly, a thought struck him. He looked up at the Giant Do’s ceiling.
Sure enough, the Boss was standing heroically on a protruding stone pillar, holding an old kerosene lamp, coldly overlooking the "Banquet" below.
At a mont when even the Physical Education Teacher was partaking in the feast, the Boss did nothing but watched coldly, just like a spectator.
"Boss... What kind of person is she really?"
This thought popped into Lin Yi’s mind, and simultaneously, his consciousness floated away from Mao Feiyang, gently rising up to the do, now less than ten ters from the Boss.
Just then, the Boss seed to sense sothing, suddenly looking toward his position, with her eyebrows slightly furrowing.
She didn’t say a word, rely lifting her hand toward where Lin Yi was out of suspicion.
"’Kill’!"
Her red lips parted slightly, uttering a sharp syllable. Judging by the pronunciation, it seed like "Kill," and the next instant, Lin Yi felt a tangible killing intent, causing his scalp to tingle.
"Damn, no way...?! Even this, Boss can sense?!"
Lin Yi instinctively dodged slightly, and in the space where he had been, a subtle spatial ripple appeared.
Such spatial ripples were extrely subtle and disappeared in a flash, yet in Lin Yi’s perception, it was as if all the breaths at that location were eradicated, gone for good.
"Hiss... My goodness... Just what power does the Boss possess..."
Lin Yi subconsciously touched his scalp; his estimate of the Boss had always been high, but seeing how casually she acted now, his already high estimation seed absurdly low.
This ti, he truly believed it, that when the Boss trained him, it was very strenuous, mainly because she had to strictly control the force of her kicks... A slight loss of control, and her foot might well send him off directly.
After missing the strike, the Boss’s eyebrows still didn’t relax, yet that gaze swept over the Gymnasium’s seating, and then locked onto Lin Yi, who was still seated there.
The Boss squinted slightly, subconsciously muttering: "An illusion... so much like that guy?"
After muttering, she refocused her attention on the "Banquet," giving Lin Yi a sensation akin to soone overseeing the grand sche, reminiscent of sitting at the head of the Hogwarts banquet beside Professor Dumbledore.
Lin Yi also shifted his focus back to the do, suddenly curious: what was the campus outside the do... like?
Thinking this, he guided his will to float gently upward. Yet, a bizarre scene unfolded. As he hovered to the apex of the do, looking out, the panorama was exceptionally strange and distorted, as if the laws of reality were entirely overturned here.
The originally three-dinsional campus now seed forcefully pressed onto a two-dinsional sheet of paper by so mysterious and irresistible force.
The buildings in the campus, those Teaching Buildings, Dormitory Buildings, Cafeterias that once brimd with a sense of volu, now appeared flat, losing their original depth and thickness.
Yet this wasn’t the most bizarre part—the two-dinsional paper encompassing the campus seed to be stretched and twisted at will by a pair of invisible giant hands.
The buildings’ lines began to curve and coil, like slithering serpents. Windows and doors were no longer in regular shapes, so being elongated, others compressed, and so even twisted into inconceivable angles.
The roads in the campus, originally straight lines, now intertwined like flowing ribbons, winding and twisting together.
