"Mom! My little brother is missing!"

Upon hearing this, Emily Parker sharply looked up, seeing her daughter’s small face flushed red, tears hanging on her eyelashes, tumbling and stumbling as she ran over, diving into her embrace.

Emily’s heart tightened as she picked up Celeste: "Celeste, don’t panic, tell slowly, what happened to Aaron?"

"Just after class, my brother said he was going to the bathroom. I waited for him at the door, but he never ca out!"

Celeste sobbed, her face full of guilt, "I went in to look, checked both the boys’ and girls’ bathrooms, and he wasn’t there!"

These words made Emily’s heart skip a beat, and she imdiately pulled Celeste along to the kindergarten security office, urgently explaining the situation.

"My child is missing, please check the surveillance, especially near the bathroom door and the park entrance!"

The security guard saw her grave expression and didn’t dare delay, imdiately pulling up the surveillance footage.

On the screen, the yard was filled with children leaving school ten minutes earlier; Aaron was bouncing with his little backpack heading towards the bathroom, but less than three minutes later, a sowhat familiar figure appeared at the entrance – it was Rainny White!

She was wearing a dark hoodie, the cap pulled low, holding onto a silver luggage case, with a little boy beside her, it was Sebastian Carter.

On the footage, when Rainny lifted her head, her side profile was clearly revealed, and beneath her eye was a faint red mark, a mark Emily was all too familiar with as it was the allergic reaction from the toxin Celeste once used on Linda!

"Not right... she’s not Rainny White," Emily’s pupils suddenly contracted, and a thought flashed through her mind.

The one captured by the police was Rainny White, the real Linda was never caught!

Linda, at this mont, hadn’t exited the gate with Sebastian still dragging a suitcase, Aaron’s disappearance was undoubtedly connected to her!

"Kidnapping!"

Emily’s voice darkened, imdiately taking out her phone to call the police.

She dared not waste ti, while instructing the security guard to contact kindergarten teachers to count the children and guard the gate, she opened her phone and began tracking Linda’s movents.

Her heart was full of urgency; Aaron must not be hard, she couldn’t lose him.

anwhile, the Prescott car was driving on its way ho; inside was quiet, Mrs. Carter was resting with closed eyes against the seat.

Suddenly, Carlos’s phone vibrated; he picked it up, his face imdiately darkened.

On the screen was a ssage from an unknown number, the sender noted as "Adam Willow," with only one sentence: "If you want to save your son, co to the abandoned warehouse on Torvane’s mountain, co alone, no tricks."

The ssage also included a photo.

Aaron and Sebastian were tied to chairs, mouths sealed with tape, eyes full of fear.

"What’s wrong?" Mrs. Carter noticed his unusual deanor, opened her eyes to ask.

Carlos imdiately turned off the phone’s screen, forcing a calm smile: "It’s nothing, sothing urgent at the company, I need to deal with it, let the driver take you ho first."

Maria Carter frowned, feeling sothing was amiss: "Should I co along?"

"No need, it’s just financial matters, I’ll be back soon."

Carlos waved his hand, "Don’t worry, be safe on the road, send a ssage when you get ho."

Having said that, he didn’t wait for them to ask further, imdiately had the driver stop, opened the car door, and left quickly, any calm already replaced by anxiety.

Aaron and Sebastian, both children, were in Adam Willow’s hands, he absolutely couldn’t let anything happen to them, nor have his mother and sister worried.

On the other side, after a search, Emily’s phone finally locked onto Linda’s whereabouts, the endpoint being the abandoned warehouse on Torvane Mountain.

She found it on satellite maps, built on a seaside cliff, long unused, extrely secluded.

Riding her motorcycle swiftly, her palms were already damp with cold sweat by the ti she reached the warehouse.

When Emily parked the bike not far from the warehouse and stealthily approached, she saw the large warehouse door ajar from a distance, a car parked outside.

She tread lightly, approaching from a window at the back, glancing inside through it made her heart suddenly contract.

The warehouse was full of dust, dimly lit, with only one worn-out light bulb shining.

In the corner of the warehouse, Aaron and Sebastian were tied to chairs, mouths sealed with tape.

Linda stood beside the children, gripping a gun against Aaron’s arm, eyes filled with nace.

Adam Willow held onto a knife pressed to Sebastian’s neck while at the warehouse door stood Carlos, who had just arrived.
