The day after Isabella Weaver’s graduation, she received news even better than graduating.
Weaver Clan Group officially declared bankruptcy!
The once-thriving Watch King, Christopher Weaver, was insolvent. All his accounts were frozen, and his properties and cars were auctioned by the court.
Isabella Weaver sat by Shiely Morrison’s hospital bed, holding her emaciated hand, and whispered, "Mom, he went bankrupt. Are you happy? The revenge has just begun, wait for my good news."
Shiely Morrison had no reaction, and Isabella took a damp towel to wipe her face and hands.
Before she finished, the heart rate monitor suddenly emitted a long beep!
It resounded in her mind with a deafening crash!
"Mom!"
Director Valley rushed in with his team, and a few minutes later, he looked at Isabella Weaver, "Miss Weaver, please accept my condolences."
Tears welled up in Isabella’s eyes, and she leaned forward to hug Shiely Morrison, crying softly, "Mom, you heard , didn’t you? You’re relieved, right? But you still left ..."
Johan Niles pulled her up, patting her back, "Auntie passed peacefully. Sis, don’t be sad. Having you with her at the last mont was very lucky."
Isabella nodded desperately!
She was actually ntally prepared. Director Valley had said that her mother was running on empty long ago, but when the mont ca, she still felt utterly devastated!
Where’s Harry?
She missed Harry so much...
Handling the body didn’t need Director Valley to oversee. Johan Niles proactively managed all the affairs for Isabella Weaver. He knew the feeling was unbearable and quickly notified Harry Hunter.
Harry arrived swiftly, and Isabella was embraced by him, finally breaking into sobs, "She’s gone! She left !"
Harry felt a heart-wrenching pain and held her tight, speaking solemnly, "I won’t! Isabella, you still have !"
Isabella couldn’t stop crying; she harbored countless grievances, only daring to let them out with Harry.
In the corridor, the dical staff were heartbroken from her crying. Johan Niles, having finished up, watched the scene from afar, feeling deeply saddened and texted Natalie Niles:
"Sis, take care, I love you, forever."
Natalie Niles hadn’t sent any news for many days; he feared sothing might have happened to her.
Hospitals were the places for countless separations of life and death. Johan Niles hadn’t been affected much before, but this ti, it felt particularly profound.
Isabella Weaver’s heart-wrenching cries left him mournful inside.
A restless night.
The next day, Isabella wore somber black clothes. She and Harry dealt with the affairs following Shiely Morrison’s death, organizing a simple funeral and, per Shiely’s wishes, burying her in a beautiful cetery.
She had regained her composure and, upon leaving the cetery, even managed a faint smile, "Do you think my mom and your mom will et in heaven?"
Harry stroked her head, "They will."
"It’s a pity she didn’t see her grandson."
"It’s okay. Once her grandson is born, he can bring flowers to his grandma."
Isabella’s heart suddenly felt much lighter. Once in the car, sitting in the back with Harry, she couldn’t help but hug his waist and give him a quick kiss on his chin, asking softly, "When will we have a baby?"
Harry held her, pinched her cheek, "Have I not been working hard every day?"
"Then why haven’t I conceived?"
"You really want kids that badly?"
"Don’t you?"
"You’re still young. Wait until you’re a bit older."
"I’m almost twenty!"
"Still young, thirty is still in ti to have kids."
Isabella was dumbfounded, forgetting her sadness, anxiously grabbing his shirt to ask him, "Do you have any kind of hidden ailnt?"
Connor, driving up front, nearly bit his tongue!
