July’s fiery heat descends, and graduation season arrives.
Isabella Weaver is invited by Wayne University to deliver a speech as an outstanding graduate at the comncent ceremony.
She is considered a legend at the university, and when the speech ends, the audience bursts into enthusiastic applause.
Once the ceremony concludes, Isabella Weaver walks out of the auditorium, with Harry Hunter approaching her with a bouquet of flowers: "Congratulations on graduating, my lady."
Isabella Weaver accepts the bouquet, her smile genuine and heartfelt: "Thank you!"
The crowd cheers excitedly, as it is a rare occasion for this celebrity-like couple to appear together on campus.
Many people are taking photographs, as Isabella Weaver holds Harry Hunter’s hand, descending the steps and moving through the crowd towards his luxurious sports car.
At the back of the crowd, Milo Field watches Isabella Weaver, who is radiating a brilliant light, and feels an indescribable bitterness.
The man giving her flowers and holding her hand should have been him.
But now, she has beco soone he can no longer reach!
She has achieved brilliance, with her talent being astonishing, and she is no longer the girl who silently worked hard while being unknown at the university.
He missed the most important thing in his life.
He glances at Gilly Scott lurking not far away, with a flash of extre disgust in his eyes, wondering what trick she is up to now. She is jealous of Isabella Weaver to the point of frenzy, frequently leaking Isabella’s personal stories to gossip dia, but never causing any real stir.
Isabella Weaver does not notice her ex-boyfriend and forr close friend. She is protected by Harry Hunter as she gets into the car, leaving with the bouquet, feeling excited and happy.
She had never imagined graduation would be like this. She once thought she would graduate silently and retreat unnoticed from the Ivory Tower, struggling in society.
Everything began to change after eting Harry Hunter.
She looks at Harry Hunter, who is driving, with reddened eyes. He is as handso, cool, dashing, and noble as when they first t, with a perfectly contoured side profile, and seems difficult to approach when silent.
She touches Harry Hunter’s face and her hand is imdiately grasped.
"Are you sad about graduating? You won’t be a student anymore."
"What’s so good about being a student?"
Isabella Weaver is puzzled, as she found her school days difficult and felt more motivated working and earning money.
"I read that many people cry hard when they graduate. Afraid you might be sad, I even searched for jokes online to tell you."
Isabella Weaver laughs, feeling warm inside: "I’m not sad. There’s nothing worth longing for at school, but you can still tell the jokes!"
Harry Hunter prepares for a mont, then speaks indifferently: "A black cat saved a white cat from the river. You know what the white cat said to the black cat afterward?"
"What did it say?"
"ow!"
Isabella Weaver bursts out laughing!
"Call out a couple more tis, let hear!"
"No more calls."
Harry Hunter rarely blushes; being made to imitate a cat really is too...
He wouldn’t have done it if it wasn’t for cheering up Isabella Weaver!
Isabella Weaver laughs all the way ho and keeps pestering Harry Hunter to "ow" a couple more tis.
Harry Hunter adamantly refuses to "ow," swearing never to tell Isabella Weaver cold jokes again, as he feels he’s trapped himself.
Well, he won’t trap himself alone anymore. He decides to send the compiled jokes to Connor!
Connor receives the file on his phone and texts back: "Young Master, are you worried my girlfriend might leave unhappy, so you sent jokes to cheer up? These jokes are too cold!"
Harry Hunter replies: "Girls like them. You can tell them to your girlfriend in the future."
Connor expresses skepticism, questioning if the Young Master is really setting him up?
