Chapter 83: Chapter 83 Scary Experience at the Train Station_1
The male passenger gradually approached, wearing a pair of glasses, slim in stature and bearing an aura of a scholar.
As an ordinary human, he naturally couldn’t see the ghost close at hand. In his eyes, only he and Qin Sisi were nearby. So as they brushed past each other, he gave Qin Sisi a glance, his gaze gentle.
Qin Sisi noticed that the beautiful female ghost’s deanor had changed and began closely observing her every action, paying no attention to the male passenger’s polite gaze.
The male passenger noticed that Qin Sisi hadn’t noticed him, so he withdrew his gaze, took two more steps forward, and prepared to get on the train.
In that instant, the ghost suddenly floated behind the man, pushing him heavily. The passenger let out a cry of surprise and staggered, falling towards the train tracks.
Seeing the man about to fall onto the tracks, Qin Sisi quickly rushed forward, reaching out and yanking at the back of his clothes.
After a shaky mont, the man finally fell to his knees on the edge of the tracks, deathly pale and panting heavily.
Then, a loud whistle sounded.
Qin Sisi felt a sinking feeling in her heart, urgently saying to the man, "Hurry up, the train is about to depart."
The man heaved himself up with one hand but was trembling, and had difficulty walking after his brush with death.
The train was about to depart, and their location was too close to it. They were in danger of being sucked under the moving train.
In her panic, Qin Sisi didn’t hesitate to walk forward, holding onto his arm, and helped him to move further away from the train.
The clanging sound echoed as the train’s speed gradually increased, leaving the desolate station behind and disappearing into the endless darkness.
Qin Sisi turned back to look at the empty railway track and let out a long sigh of relief. anwhile, the man sat down on the ground, too fatigued to stand.
Qin Sisi squatted down, patting his shoulder and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"
The man looked at Qin Sisi, his gaze a little lost, but gratefully nodded. Panting, he shook his head and said, "I’m all right."
At this point, probably alerted to the abnormal situation here, a uniford female staff mber quickly ca over.
"What happened?" She looked at Qin Sisi, then at the man sitting on the ground, and asked with confusion.
Just as Qin Sisi was about to speak, she suddenly felt sothing missing, she checked her clothing and exclaid in alarm, "Oh no!"
She had been so focused on the beautiful female ghost and the man that she hadn’t noticed Ye You was no longer tucked into her clothing.
The female staff mber looked at Qin Sisi surprised and asked, "What’s wrong, miss?"
Without answering, Qin Sisi turned and ran towards where the beautiful ghost had vanished. She rembered clearly that when she had first seen that ghost, Ye You had still been with her. It was likely that Ye You had gone after the ghost.
The woman followed her, shouting, "Miss, co back! You can’t be running around here!"
Qin Sisi didn’t even consider stopping and just continued running, calling out as she went, "Xiao Hei, where are you? Xiao Hei..."
She ran a distance, the light grew dimr, she stopped desperately, looking around.
All of a sudden, a soft ow was heard from up ahead.
Qin Sisi’s spirits lifted and she ran toward the sound. Simultaneously, a black cat that had been blending into the darkness ran swiftly towards her. It was Ye You who she had been urgently searching for.
As they encountered, Ye You leaped, and Qin Sisi bent to catch him securely in her arms.
"You scared !" Qin Sisi was a bit upset, her voice shaking slightly.
Ye You felt a pang of guilt and said softly, "I’m sorry for worrying you."
Seeing that Ye You was fine, Qin Sisi felt reassured and cald herself down, asking, "Did you go after that ghost?"
"Yes," Ye You nodded.
"Did you catch her?" Qin Sisi asked with expectation.
Ye You confidently replied, "Of course, she’s inside my Portable Space."
Dealing with a normal ghost was easy for Ye You.
"That’s great!" Qin Sisi couldn’t help but praise.
At that mont, hurried footsteps were heard from behind, a deep voice called out, "Miss, co back quickly!"
Qin Sisi was startled and thought that the station staff had co looking for her.
She quickly tucked Ye You back into her clothes, turned around, and walked towards the approaching staff mber.
A man in his fifties, dressed in a uniform, seeing that Qin Sisi was safe, he sighed in relief and said, "Miss, you can’t be running around here. Hurry on back to the waiting room."
"Alright, I understand." Qin Sisi obediently agreed, following the man back to the waiting room.
The young male passenger, whom she had just rescued, was sitting down, drinking water. The female staff mber she’d seen earlier was next to him, asking him sothing.
The man, who had been leaning back loosely in his seat, saw Qin Sisi enter and sat up at once, managing to summon up a forced smile and nodded at her.
Sisi returned his smile, walked over and asked, "Are you okay?"
The man answered gratefully, "I’m fine now, thanks to you. I really can’t thank you enough."
Qin Sisi replied generously, "You don’t have to thank . I just happened to be there."
The man took a business card out of his bag and handed it to her, "This is my business card. I work in Z City. Please call
when you get to Z City."
Seeing the sincerity in the man’s face, Qin Sisi agreed, "Alright," she said and took his card.
Qin Sisi quickly glanced at the card. Lin Xiaoyu, XX Computer Technology Company. It seed he was a programr.
Qin Sisi put the card in her handbag. Her fingers absently grazed the front of her clothing, feeling Ye You’s presence, and she was suddenly at peace.
Just then, the female staff mber asked again mysteriously, "Miss, did you see anything strange outside just now?"
Qin Sisi paused, several thoughts passing through her mind. Eventually, she shook her head calmly and said, "No."
The man who had led Qin Sisi back in said, "Alright Xiao Li, don’t scare the youngsters."
The female staff mber was in her thirties, with a round face and a plump figure that gave off an air of cheerfulness.
Upon hearing the older man’s words, Xiao Li retorted sowhat displeased, "Old Li, I’m not trying to scare them, I’m warning them. You think I want sothing to happen here again?"
Qin Sisi caught the hint and feigned curiosity, asking, "Did sothing happen here before, ma’am?"
Xiao Li lowered her voice and with a mysterious look, replied, "Well, don’t be scared, but about ten years ago, a girl about your age mysteriously fell onto the tracks. The train ca and well... it wasn’t pretty."
