Chapter 545: Chapter 545 Wounded Young Man_1

After listening to Qin Sisi’s request, Mr. Lu and his wife were a bit hesitant, turning their eyes towards their cousin Mr. Yang, who had so mana ability.

Mr. Yang certainly knew that a Mage’s ritual should not be interrupted, but, knowing that, he couldn’t help feeling anxious knowing that it involved his own relatives.

Boss Zheng, of course, had no objections and promptly assured that he would not interfere unauthorisedly.

However, Qin Sisi’s request was not targeting Boss Zheng to begin with.

Mr. Yang thought for a while, and finally persuaded his cousin and his wife to agree. After all, in this kind of profession, they had their own rules. Since they had invited her, they should abide by the rules she set.

Mr. Lu and his wife took Mr. Yang’s advice in this matter, and upon his speaking, they also agreed.

As the night deepened, Qin Sisi greeted the others before entering Xiao Jie’s bedroom, locking the door behind herself.

From those left outside, aside from Boss Zheng who remained calm, the others were a bit anxious, especially Xiao Jie’s parents.

Even though Qin Sisi had told them to rest at ease and that she would wake them once everything was settled, how could they possibly fall asleep? They sat in the living room, waiting anxiously on the sofa for news.

Qin Sisi sat down beside Xiao Jie’s bed, gazing down at the small boy for a while, her heart filled with pity. What kind of ghost would attack a child?

After a mont of thought, she whispered to Ye You, "He’s not in any imdiate danger, is he?"

Ye You paused before responding, "From the looks of it, he should be nearing the seventh day already. If that ghost isn’t expelled tonight, I’m afraid it will be dire."

Qin Sisi was startled, staring at Ye You in bewildernt before looking back at Xiao Jie. Sure enough, the black aura at the center of his forehead was much denser than it had been in the afternoon.

Confronted with a child who was rely ten years old, her feelings were sowhat stagnant, her fists silently clenching.

Just as midnight approached and Qin Sisi was about to ask Ye You what they should do next, the Xiao Jie lying on the bed suddenly opened his eyes.

Qin Sisi was taken aback, but also sowhat pleased. She quickly asked with concern, "Are you awake?"

Xiao Jie’s eyes were fixed unmovingly on Qin Sisi as he slowly sat up, his body sowhat stiff.

Qin Sisi had initially wanted to help him up, but stopped in her tracks upon seeing his expression and the look in his eyes.

Xiao Jie’s expression was cold, as if his face had been frozen, and his eyes were even more unfriendly. He looked at her with indifference, and a hint of ferocity.

Qin Sisi instinctively retreated a step but before she could steady herself, Xiao Jie suddenly threw himself forcefully at her.

Caught off guard, Qin Sisi was knocked directly onto the floor by Xiao Jie. His small hands tightly gripped her throat.

Qin Sisi struggled to breathe and was unable to use her magic skills. Grasping at Xiao Jie’s arms, attempting to pry them open, she found that Xiao Jie’s strength was disproportionately great for his age, and she was unable to shake him off.

In her urgency, Qin Sisi drove her knee upward, hitting Xiao Jie in the stomach. Xiao Jie groaned in pain, but still did not let go.

While Qin Sisi was struggling, Ye You seized the opportunity to jump out of her embrace and onto Xiao Jie’s back.

Xiao Jie did not take this black cat seriously and continued to suffocate Qin Sisi.

Ye You raised a claw to summon a ball of blue light before fiercely slapping it onto the top of Xiao Jie’s head, shouting, "Get out!"

Xiao Jie’s body imdiately stiffened, and a wisp of white smoke drifted out from the top of his head. Simultaneously, his eyes closed, his head sagged, and he went limp on top of Qin Sisi.

Qin Sisi took a few breaths, and pushed Xiao Jie off her onto the ground. She sat up and looked up to find that the white smoke that had erged from Xiao Jie’s body had ford a human figure that was floating in the air, gazing down at her.

To Qin Sisi’s surprise, this ghost was a teenager who was only a few years older than Xiao Jie.

He was fourteen or fifteen years old. His upper body was bare, and he wore black sports pants on the bottom, his feet bare.

What was striking was that the teenager’s upper body was covered with red wounds, dense and shocking to the eye.

By now, the teenager had woken up from the shock of being suddenly expelled from Xiao Jie’s body. He glared at Qin Sisi angrily, threatening, "Busybody, I’m going to kill you!"

With that, the teenager charged furiously at Qin Sisi.

However, this ti Qin Sisi was prepared. Divine Dog’s Fury held tightly in her hand, she saw the teenager charging at her, and without hesitation swung the black long whip hard against the floor.

This was just a warning. Now that Qin Sisi had a better understanding of her own strength, she didn’t want to engage in battle with the ghost.

Divine Dog’s Fury hit the hard floor, producing a clear sound and a small shock wave. A faint black mist slightly rippled with the movent of Divine Dog’s Fury.

The teenager was indeed deterred by this. Even if he did not have a strong spiritual power, he could feel the powerful pressure of Divine Dog’s Fury. Imagining that this extraordinary long whip was hitting him, made him shiver.

Seeing that the teenager had stopped, Qin Sisi positioned Divine Dog’s Fury defensively by her side, and said coldly but clearly, "I won’t harm you. Let go of Xiao Jie, co with , and I can help you fulfill your heart’s desire."

With so many visible wounds, the teenager must have died unjustly and no doubt had a strong fixation in his heart.

The anger in the teenager’s eyes lessened a bit, but he looked at Qin Sisi very cautiously and suspiciously. "Why should I believe you?" he asked.

Before Qin Sisi could think about how to respond, Ye You suddenly raised a claw and a golden light rushed towards the teenager.

The teenager was taken by surprise and tried to dodge but how could he escape from the Vajra Bundling Spirit Rope under Ye You’s control?

In just a few seconds, the teenager was firmly tied up by the Vajra Bundling Spirit Rope.

He gritted his teeth and glared at Qin Sisi, his eyes almost red, and yelled, "Liar! You’re all liars!"

Qin Sisi exchanged a glance with Ye You, realizing that the most important task at hand was to heal Xiao Jie. They could deal with this teenage ghost later.

She walked over to the teenager and said gently, "I’m not a liar. If I say I can help you, I can help you. Now you need to calm down, we can have a good talk once you’ve thought things through."

The expression on the teenager’s face changed repeatedly, showing that he was greatly conflicted.

Ye You did not wait any longer and recalled the teenage ghost into the Portable Space with a flick of his claw.

Qin Sisi let out a sigh of relief, then imdiately turned to look at Xiao Jie who was still lying on the floor.

What relieved her was that Xiao Jie’s complexion had greatly improved. The black aura at the centre of his forehead had dispersed and his lips were no longer turning blue. However, his face was very pale, and his breath was extrely weak.
