Chapter 544: Chapter 544: Possessed by a Ghost_1

It turned out that the parents of the sick boy were relatives of Boss Zheng’s friend.

The child started showing abnormalities last week, and at first, his parents thought he was ill and gave him so cold dicine.

Later, when they realized sothing was wrong, they rembered that they had a friend who knew a lot about Yin-Yang Fengshui and asked for his help.

After inspecting the situation, he felt it was a difficult case, so he turned to Boss Zheng.

Boss Zheng didn’t visit himself, he directly called Qin Sisi and asked her to accompany him.

After pondering for a mont, Qin Sisi asked with so confusion, "Uncle Zheng, don’t you have this ability as well, why do you seek my help?"

Boss Zheng slightly smiled and answered, "Actually, I did do this kind of work years ago. However, as the saying goes ’if you always walk by the river, how can you not get your shoes wet?’

Ten years ago I fell seriously ill and barely escaped with my life, and my wife departed due to illness.

From such experiences, I woke up to the realization that my luck in this field has reached its peak, if I continue recklessly, I am afraid that I’ll end up with a broken family.

So, I stopped right there, no longer engaged in Yin-Yang affairs, only focusing on business, and occasionally helping acquaintances with Feng Shui. Life has been pretty smooth since then.

Moreover, don’t you need to find sothing to do?"

It was then Qin Sisi fully understood why Boss Zheng turned to her, feeling a surge of gratitude and respect for him.

In the business of exorcising and vanquishing evil, besides possessing great Mana, a mage should also have a hard life. Otherwise, they could end up being the ones possessed instead of vanquishing spirits.

The so-called luck cos in cycles and it has good and bad tis. I believe Boss Zheng must have been very glamorous back in his days. The ability to retreat bravely when sensing the decline of luck is indeed great wisdom.

While they talked, the car drove into a common residential area in the urban-rural fringe and slowly stopped in front of a building.

A man in his forties was standing downstairs, dressed comfortably in casual attire and black cloth shoes, giving an easygoing impression.

Boss Zheng got out of the car and waved to the man, "Uncle Yang."

The man called "Uncle Yang" smiled and walked briskly over to Boss Zheng.

After the two old friends exchanged pleasantries, Boss Zheng introduced Qin Sisi and told her to call him "Uncle Yang".

Qin Sisi politely greeted him, guessing in her mind that this Uncle Yang should be Boss Zheng’s friend.

As she thought, Mr. Yang looked at Qin Sisi aningfully, and when he looked at Boss Zheng, there was a hint of confusion and inquiry. He couldn’t understand why Boss Zheng had brought such a young female mage.

Seeing through Mr. Yang’s thoughts, Boss Zheng calmly said, "Let’s go see the patient first."

Noting Boss Zheng’s cool and collected deanor, Mr. Yang suppressed his doubts for the mont.

Since the person had been brought, it should at least be tried to know if it would work or not.

"Follow ." Mr. Yang gestured towards Boss Zheng and Qin Sisi and led them upstairs.

Inside the elevator, Mr. Yang briefly described the situation to Boss Zheng. The parent of the sick boy was Mr. Lu, Mr Yang’s distant cousin.

Mr. and Mrs. Lu both worked locally, and their son was ten this year, in the fourth grade at a nearby primary school.

The day before yesterday, Mr. Yang suddenly received a call from his cousin Mr. Lu saying his son was ill and seed a bit off. He wanted Mr. Yang’s help to have a look.

Mr. Yang was mainly in the business of Fengshui and sotis dabbled in Yin-Yang matters. However, his mana was average and could only perform minor rituals. He usually didn’t ss with ghosts.

This ti around, as his cousin asked for help, he tried burning yellow papers for two days. When there was no improvent, he realized this issue was beyond his capabilities, so he asked his old friend Boss Zheng for help and to find a powerful mage.

Boss Zheng quickly brought Qin Sisi along, though the arrival of such a young female mage puzzled Mr. Yang.

After the door of an iron-clad apartnt door was buzzed, a man in his thirties opened the door. Seeing Mr. Yang, he imdiately understood the situation and let them in.

"This is my cousin." Mr. Yang introduced to Boss Zheng and Qin Sisi.

Then, pointing to a woman of similar age who hurried out from the bedroom, he said, "This is his wife."

Boss Zheng and Qin Sisi both greeted Mr. Lu’s couple with a warm smile.

Looking at the couple, Qin Sisi could tell that they were ordinary folk, their expressions haggard and anxious due to worrying about their son’s condition.

"Please take us to see Xiao Jie," Mr. Yang said to the couple. "I’m sure Boss Zheng will have a solution."

Mr. and Mrs. Lu nodded and led Boss Zheng and Qin Sisi to the bedroom.

They saw a small boy with short hair lying motionless on the bed, who should be the young patient, Xiao Jie, they ntioned.

Qin Sisi exchanged a glance with Boss Zheng, he motioned for her to move in for a closer look. She nodded and, holding Ye You closely, approached the bed and examined the little boy.

He had sunken eyes that were tightly closed, a dark patch in the middle of his eyebrows, and his lips were turning blue. She imdiately determined that the boy’s condition was related to a ghost.

At this mont, Ye You owed in a low voice and stated, "He’s possessed."

Qin Sisi was slightly taken aback and looked down at Ye You.

Ye You continued, "Wait, I will force it out tonight."

Qin Sisi nodded lightly, fell into silence for a mont, then turned to Boss Zheng and the couple, "I can cure him, but we have to wait until tonight."

"Really?" The couple looked surprised but a bit doubtful.

Mr. Yang looked at Boss Zheng inquiringly again.

Boss Zheng patted Mr. Yang’s shoulder and said, "I brought her here, because I trust in her abilities. We have been friends for many years now, don’t you trust my judgnt?"

Though feeling awkward, Mr. Yang managed to bring up a smile, and said to the couple, "In that case, let’s let the lady mage give it a try, we can reassess the situation tomorrow."

Even with Boss Zheng’s assurance, Mr. Yang couldn’t fully believe in Qin Sisi’s ability.

Qin Sisi didn’t mind, it wasn’t the first ti her abilities were questioned, and compared to those occasions, Mr. Yang’s attitude was decent.

Therefore, Qin Sisi and Boss Zheng stayed with Mr. Lu’s family. After dinner, Qin Sisi made her requirents known. She would stay in Xiao Jie’s room alone at night. No one else was allowed in and no matter what noises they heard, they would not break in. They could only wait outside peacefully.

If they entered of their own accord and interrupted her, they would bear the consequences.
