Chapter 361: Chapter 361 Only I Can Kiss You_1

Qin Sisi looked at the big yellow dog with sympathy. She pitied it yet she couldn’t bring herself to bla Ye You.

Qin Sisi sat on the floor, her knees tucked up. She sighed deeply and said, "You’re too domineering, don’t hit it anymore."

Ye You responded with a deep gaze before hopping onto Qin Sisi’s knees and wrapping his arms around her neck, whispering, "I am domineering. In this world, only I can kiss you."

The words made Sisi’s heart flutter as if a little deer was prancing around in her chest.

Just as Sisi turned her head to avoid Ye You’s intense gaze, his kiss took her by surprise.

The cold wind howled outside the window, and the night beca even darker.

The room was peaceful and warm, like spring.

The Da Huang, the big yellow dog, curled up in the corner, watching Ye You and Qin Sisi tangled up, it let out several aggrieved whimpers.

Qin Sisi slept until noon, and Ye You had just woken up, neither of them were tired.

So, Qin Sisi asked Ye You to create a barrier where she could continue practicing her fire magic.

After five hours of practice, it was already the early hours of the morning. Qin Sisi took a shower and cuddled up with Ye You in bed, ready to sleep.

Turned off the lights, darkness engulfed them.

"Xiao Hei, do you rember what day it is?" Within the darkness, Sisi’s voice was gentle and soft.

"I do, it’s the fifteenth," Ye You replied softly, his heart filled with anticipation for that day.

The fifteenth, the night of the full moon, was when Ye You’s true form would appear in the mirror. It was their only real eting each month.

Last fifteenth, in order to help Teacher Yang, they stayed at her house to ta the blood baby, so they had only half an hour together.

Therefore, both were deeply looking forward to the next night of the full moon.

Looking at the empty darkness in front of her, Sisi murmured, "It’s the fifteenth of the twelfth lunar month, it’s almost New Year!"

Ye You shifted a bit closer to her and asked softly, "Are there any special customs for New Year?"

Sisi began detailing, "Yes, we eat dumplings, wear new clothes, put up couplets, set off firecrackers, although setting off firecrackers is no longer allowed in the city."

She reminisced about her childhood, "Every New Year, dad would set off firecrackers in the courtyard and by the door. After the uproar, the ground was covered in red paper, like a red carpet was spread..."

Ye You looked up at Sisi, her face filled with yearning, as if she had returned to her happy and blissful childhood.

Back when the sky was blue, life was simple, before the sad things happened and before she had to endure painful losses.

In the midst of these beautiful mories, Sisi gradually fell asleep.

The next day, Ye You woke up early but didn’t move, afraid to wake Sisi.

After a long while, Sisi finally opened her eyes in a daze. Her long eyelashes fluttered a few tis, and her cute little mouth puckered slightly, revealing a hint of adorable na??vety.

Ye You looked at Sisi who was just waking up, a hint of amusent flashing in his eyes.

It didn’t take long for Sisi to realize that Ye You was watching her. She greeted sowhat shyly, "You woke up so early!"

Ye You answered warmly, "I slept too much yesterday, I’m not tired anymore."

Sisi curved her lips into a smile, got up to go to the bathroom, and then went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

At the breakfast table, Ye You suggested going out for a stroll to buy so things for the New Year.

Sisi hesitated and said, "It’s just the two of us; we don’t need much. We could buy on other days when we are going out. We don’t need to make a special trip."

In a soft voice, Ye You said, "Isn’t the new year a grand festival here? We can’t just go through the motions, we should prepare properly."

Sisi bit her lip, glanced at Ye You and wanted to say sothing but didn’t.

Feeling strange, Ye You asked, "Sisi, is there sothing wrong?"

It took a while for Sisi to finally say, "As the New Year approaches, the streets are very crowded. In case anything happens and we don’t get back in ti..."

Sisi didn’t finish her sentence, but Ye You understood.

Sisi was afraid sothing would happen and they would miss their monthly rendezvous.

The last ti they missed it due to unforeseen circumstances and only managed half an hour together, almost imdiately saying goodbye upon eting.

Ye You also regretted the last eting. Seeing Sisi worried, he simply said, "Okay, we won’t go out today, we will find another day to go shopping."

Only then did Sisi’s worry turn into joy, and she flashed a relieved smile.

Just as breakfast was coming to an end, Ye You went into the kitchen and brought out the enal basin that he used to feed Da Huang the night before, placing it in front of Sisi with the words, "Give it sothing to eat."

Sisi was surprised at Ye You’s actions and couldn’t help but ask, "You... didn’t you tell

to stay away from it?"

Ye You calmly said, "It’s okay to feed it, but you’re not allowed to let it kiss you."

Sisi took the enal basin and teased, "You stingy thing."

Ye You blinked his eyes, looked up at Sisi and asked, "Are you generous then? What if I go and kiss other won...?"

"How dare you!" Sisi retorted without hesitation.

A few seconds later, Sisi realized what she had said and blushed.

Ye You chuckled lightly, his gaze holding a deeper aning.

Annoyed, Sisi glared at him, filled the enal basin with food, and took it to Da Huang.

Seeing Sisi, Da Huang seed scared, shrinking back a little. Its small eyes darted back and forth to Ye You, as if saying, "I didn’t get near her, she ca to ."

Ye You gave Da Huang a sidelong glance, nonchalantly turning his head away as if he hadn’t seen anything.

Even though Ye You didn’t react, Da Huang was still a bit reluctant to eat until Sisi moved away from the area, then it began to eat heartily.

That day was a leisurely day for Qin Sisi and Ye You.

Apart from eating and resting, Sisi spent all her ti practicing magic and poring over her magic notes.

As expected, her practice led to improvents. Sisi’s Fireball Technique had gotten much better. She could now consistently conjure fireballs, but the size of the fireballs and their maximum distance still needed improvent.

There were several different-sized charred spots on the wooden post, proof of Sisi’s reaching Ye You’s target—to char the post with the fireball.

The sun stayed in the sky for shorter periods in the winter. After Sisi completed her magic practices, she couldn’t help but urge it to set sooner.

So, under Sisi’s urging and anticipation, the sun finally trudged off to set in the western sky.
