Chapter 360: Chapter 360: It’s public_1
Within the quiet room, a slight noise sounded out from the bedroom, and the door opened with Ye You leisurely erging.
Although he was still tired and magic nearly depleted, he was better off than last ti and didn’t sleep for as long as twenty ti-units, Ye You’s strength was mostly recovered.
Walking into the living room, he saw Qin Sisi with her eyes closed, reclining on the sofa, his gaze sparked faintly as he quickly hopped over.
Only upon discovering that Qin Sisi had rely fallen asleep did Ye You relax.
Upon seeing the prepared al on the dining table, warmth blossod in Ye You’s heart. He leapt onto the back of the sofa, bent down, and began to affectionately kiss Qin Sisi’s lips.
Qin Sisi was a light sleeper, Ye You’s movents quickly roused her.
Upon taking in Ye You in front of her, Qin Sisi first froze, then joyfully said, "You’re awake, I was so worried about you."
Looking at her gently and affectionately, Ye You softly replied, "Silly girl, I told you I’m fine, what is there to worry about?"
Qin Sisi bit her lip, feeling sowhat shy and lowered her head.
Ye You turned his gaze to the dining table, asking, "Did you cook?"
Qin Sisi imdiately replied, "I did, but... it might be cold now."
Ye You lightly said, "It’s alright, just reheat it. Let’s have dinner."
"Okay," Qin Sisi responded crisply, her steps light as she walked over to the dining table, picked up the food and moved it to the kitchen.
Watching her from behind, Ye You shook his head slightly helplessly. With him being unconscious all this while, he doubted Qin Sisi would have eaten much even after making this al.
Once the al was reheated, they sat across from one another, and ended up eating quite a lot.
With their bellies filled and ward, their spirits also seed to cheer up.
Just after they finished eating, Qin Sisi heard a soft whining sound. Ye You heard it too, both of them looking toward the source of the sound, which turned out to be coming from Da Huang the dog.
Perhaps Ye You’s last reserves of magic had been too weak, Da Huang hadn’t managed to sleep a full day and night before waking up.
Having spent two or three days without food, even though it hadn’t expended much energy while in a state of semi-conscious sleep, it was extrely hungry. Seeing Qin Sisi and Ye You happily eating, drool was about to roll out of its mouth.
Unsure if it was the residual effects of Chen Yan’s possession, or the fact that Ye You’s sleep-inducing spell had been too potent on him, Da Huang’s consciousness was a bit hazy, with the mories of the past becoming rather blurry.
It didn’t rember who or what it had encountered, nor why it found itself here.
This state of confused awareness made Da Huang feel slightly apprehensive, not daring to approach Qin Sisi and Ye You directly. It could only curl up on the spot, emitting soft whimpering sounds, seemingly in great distress.
Seeing this, Qin Sisi and Ye You looked at each other and couldn’t help but smile. There was still so leftover food from their al, so Qin Sisi went to fetch a porcelain bowl filled with so food and placed it in front of Da Huang.
This scene seed strangely familiar to Ye You. It reminded him of when he first arrived at Qin Sisi’s ho.
Qin Sisi’s gentle actions slightly comforted Da Huang. It took a brief sniff before its mouth opened wide, chomping down on the food voraciously.
Qin Sisi squatted nearby watching it eat. Even though Da Huang wasn’t particularly good-looking, it seed very mild-mannered and obedient.
After Da Huang finished eating the food in the porcelain bowl, it extended its tongue to lick its mouth, lifting its head to look at the faint smile on Qin Sisi’s lips, sensing her good intentions.
After a mont of hesitation, Da Huang slowly walked over to Qin Sisi, lowering his head to lightly lick Qin Sisi’s hand with its big, flesh-coloured tongue.
The sensation tickled; it was wet and slt a little funny. However, Qin Sisi could sense Da Huang’s recognition and acceptance of her, and she laughed, reaching out to pet its head and scratch gently at its neck.
Da Huang’s mood gradually improved, and it obediently interacted with Qin Sisi, continuing to extend its tongue to lick her hand.
Upon seeing this, Ye You’s eyes darkened and he moved forward.
Da Huang was quite large, nearly the sa height as the squatting Qin Sisi.
After spending so ti getting to know Qin Sisi, in an attempt to seek her favor, Da Huang leaned in to lick at her face.
Just as Da Huang’s tongue was about to touch Qin Sisi’s face, Ye You forcefully pounced, raising his paw to smack Da Huang across its face.
Caught completely off-guard, Da Huang was smacked several steps backward by Ye You’s slap. It shook its head in a daze, not quite understanding what had just happened.
Upon realizing that the one who had smacked it was a little black cat, Da Huang grew enraged.
Had the offender been sothing significantly more powerful than itself, Da Huang would have endured. However, with this little kitten daring to touch it, it was absolutely intolerable!
Da Huang stared at Ye You, baring its teeth to show the sharp canines within. Its previously wagging tail now stood still and straight in silent nace.
Ye You stood his ground, his pair of purple eyes looking coldly at Da Huang.
"Xiao Hei..." Sensing that the situation was taking a turn for the worse, Qin Sisi wanted to plead on Da Huang’s behalf.
However, before she could finish speaking, Da Huang barked and threw itself at Ye You.
Ye You let out a cold snort, before effortlessly leaping up and slamming one paw down on Da Huang’s face. The force of the strike sent Da Huang crashing onto the floor.
Da Huang was thoroughly disoriented, struggling to even lift its head while its eyes were full of terror as it looked at Ye You.
"ow!" Ye You stared at Da Huang, letting out a low feline growl.
With her understanding of Ye You’s language, Qin Sisi knew that he was saying "Keep away from her."
Sohow, Da Huang seed to understand too.
After timidly glancing at Qin Sisi, it turned around and fled to the furthest corner from her. Curling up, with its head on its paws and puppy-dog eyes gazing up pitifully at Qin Sisi and Ye You.
Unable to bear with the sight, Qin Sisi grabbed Ye You and complained, "What are you doing? Look how scared it is."
Ye You responded in a low voice, "I just want it to stay away from you."
At this point, Qin Sisi was both angry and amused, and said helplessly, "It’s just a dog..."
Before she could finish, Ye You interrupted her, "It’s a male."
Qin Sisi was montarily speechless before finally retorting indignantly, "That’s still no reason for you to hit him!"
Ye You patiently explained, "The first ti, I only gave it a light slap. The second ti, it was the one that attacked first, you saw it too."
If it wasn’t for Qin Sisi’s sake, anything that made the first move on him wouldn’t get off easily.
Of course, Qin Sisi saw everything. The reason Da Huang had attacked Ye You was still fundantally blad on Ye You making the first move.
