Chapter 347: Chapter 347: Servant Chun Tao_1

The ghost of the concubine had a very precise grasp of ti. An hour and a half later, they finally arrived at a dium-sized tomb.

The tomb was rectangular and seed to have been excavated before. There were piles of soil in the corners and so protection asures had been symbolically set up. However, they were all quite crude, showing that this tomb was not considered precious.

At this point, the sky had already darkened. The ghost of the concubine led Qin Sisi to a hidden entrance, presumably left by a tomb robber.

Ye You dispelled the Invisible Bubble, revealing Qin Sisi’s figure in the night.

The ghost of the concubine glanced at her and said, "Entering here will take you to my grave. If you are brave enough, go in."

Having said that, the ghost of the concubine was the first to slip inside.

Qin Sisi exchanged a glance with Ye You, and followed her in.

As soon as she entered, her surroundings turned pitch black, and she couldn’t see anything.

Ye You extended his paw and ignited the Ziwei Heaven Fire.

When the light finally appeared again, Qin Sisi silently heaved a sigh of relief. The darkness devoid of vision was indeed terrifying.

However, when Qin Sisi looked forward in the light of the Ziwei Heaven Fire, she couldn’t help but exclaim and step back.

A long corridor stretched out before her, leading to an unknown destination.

On both sides of the corridor were human skeletons. The sight of the white bones was chilling.

Ye You looked at her with concern and explained, "Any sizable tomb would have traps set up. If the tomb robbers who entered first were not careful, they would easily lose their lives inside."

"And now?" Qin Sisi looked worriedly at Ye You, her heart beating fast.

If the traps were still active, wouldn’t it be overwhelmingly dangerous for them to continue on like this?

Though there were only a few skeletons, probably belonging to two or three people, in this gloomy and dark tomb, it seed as if death was beckoning them.

The figure of the ghost of the concubine had already beco extrely faint, and from her ca a few proud chuckles. "What’s the matter, scared? Weren’t you quite strong? How co you’re afraid of my little tomb?"

Angry, Qin Sisi gritted her teeth. This concubine’s ghost really was not easy to deal with.

Even though the terms had already been agreed upon, she was using her familiarity with the environnt to give herself an advantage.

Ye You encouraged her by saying, "Let’s go. The rank of this tomb is not high. The traps should be one-use only. Otherwise, Mi Jun and Bai Liang would not have been able to get out safely."

A thought flashed across Qin Sisi’s mind. Yes, Mi Jun and Bai Liang had already been inside once before, and they successfully stole two of the ghost of the concubine’s jewels. This ans that this tomb wasn’t as scary as it seed.

Qin Sisi gritted her teeth, took a deep breath, and stepped forward.

As Ye You had suspected, all the traps inside the tomb were single-use. After killing a few of the tomb robbers, they had beco inactive.

As long as they could overco the fear in their hearts, they could get to the end unscathed.

As the ghost of the concubine got farther and farther away, Qin Sisi gradually let go of her initial fears, quickening her pace to follow her.

In the end, Qin Sisi followed the ghost of the concubine to where the tomb’s coffin was gradually located.

This was a rectangular room, the size corresponding to the size of the entire tomb, like a big box enclosing a small box of the sa shape.

The smaller box enclosed an even smaller one - the coffin.

The ghost of the concubine looked solemn, she floated to her coffin and gently touched it with her long-nail hand.

Qin Sisi looked around the room, aside from the coffin, there were no other objects. It was completely empty.

The ghost of the concubine noticed Qin Sisi’s confusion and said coldly, "Are you wondering why there are no objects here?"

Qin Sisi admitted honestly, "Indeed, it’s strange."

The ghost of the concubine seed to get a bit more desolate and explained slowly, "This tomb was completely looted by tomb robbers a long ti ago. Later, a scientific research team found this place and cleaned it up. They didn’t have a suitable place to store the body, so they didn’t touch the coffin."

Qin Sisi thought about it and then asked, "When the scientific research team cleaned it up, why didn’t they clean up the skeletons in the corridor? It’s really scary to pile them up like that."

The ghost of the concubine explained, "The scientific research team entered from another entrance. The small hole we entered from was dug by tomb robbers."

So that was how it was.

Qin Sisi nodded with sudden understanding, carefully asked, "Why don’t you reincarnate? Do you plan to stay here all alone forever?"

The ghost of the concubine shook her head and said with a desolate tone, "Being a human is too hard. When people get malicious, they can be scarier than ghosts."

Qin Sisi didn’t say anything. The ghost of the concubine certainly had her own story and had experienced hardship and bloodshed.

Ye You "owed" softly in Qin Sisi’s arms.

Qin Sisi looked at Ye You and nodded, asked the concubine ghost, "What about your servant girl?"

The ghost of the concubine stood upright and called out loudly in the empty room, "Chun Tao, co."

As soon as her voice fell, a faint white mist appeared from nowhere, instantly transford into a submissive woman. She made a respectful bow to the concubine ghost and responded, "I’m here, what are your orders, Madam?"

Qin Sisi looked curiously at the servant girl nad Chun Tao. She was no longer young, probably about thirty years old, wearing a light blue palace dress with a belt of the sa color around her waist. She had a graceful deanor.

The ghost of the concubine sighed, and pointing at Qin Sisi, she said, "This mage helped

find my two pieces of jewelry. I promised her so soul power as a reward. You will go with her."

Chun Tao was stunned for a mont, imdiately bowed her head and responded, "I obey."

Qin Sisi couldn’t help but sigh. These ancient servants were truly loyal to their masters!

Without asking a single question, without expressing any resistance or resentnt, it seed as if their lives were filled with nothing but obedience.

Chun Tao stood straight, looked at the ghost of the concubine with concern, and said softly, "After I leave, you will be the only one left here. Please take care of yourself, Madam."

The ghost of the concubine showed a bit of reluctance, but just lightly waved her hand towards Chun Tao.

Qin Sisi stepped forward, took out the Luminous Pearl and jade bracelet, and handed them to the ghost of the concubine and said, "These two things are for you."

The ghost of the concubine took the items. Chun Tao imdiately ca to her side, gently lifted her hand, helping her to put the jade bracelet on her wrist. She then picked up the Luminous Pearl with two fingers and asked the ghost of the concubine to open her mouth and placed the Luminous Pearl inside.
