After watching Lan Di leave, Qin Sisi stole a glance at Ye You. This wasn’t the first ti he had claid her as his woman. Each ti he said it, her heart would flutter uncontrollably.

Ye You fluttered his starlit eyes and declared aloud, "Happy Birthday."
"Eh?" Qin Sisi paused, "Is it today?"
Frantically, Qin Sisi sat up, found her phone and checked the calendar. Indeed, it was her birthday.
She rubbed her temples in frustration. Just a few days ago she was thinking that her birthday was soon. Even if she couldn’t celebrate it grandly, she could at least get herself a small gift. Who’d have thought that on her actual birthday, she’d forget.

Startled, Qin Sisi looked up at Ye You and asked, "How did you know it was my birthday today?"
Ye You calmly replied, "Haven’t I told you? I have seen your ID Card."
Qin Sisi thought for a mont, shook her head and said, "That’s not right, my ID card has my birthday according to the solar calendar, but I celebrate my birthday according to the lunar calendar."
Helplessly, Ye You sighed and said, "Isn’t it just a simple conversion? It’s very easy!"
Blinking, Qin Sisi thought, okay, maybe she was overthinking things.
She curled her legs, rested her chin on her knees, and asked Ye You teasingly, "So... do you have a gift for ?"
There was a flicker in Ye You’s gaze as he nonchalantly replied, "A gift? I didn’t prepare one."
Upon hearing Ye You’s reply, Qin Sisi’s eyes dimd slightly, and she felt a twinge of disappointnt.
Ignorance is bliss, had Ye You not been aware of her birthday, she wouldn’t have found anything amiss. But since he knew, it was customary to present sothing. Regardless of what the gift was or how expensive it was, it was the thought that counts.
Qin Sisi looked at Ye You and consoled herself, maybe Ye You didn’t know about the custom of giving birthday gifts, or maybe he just didn’t have ti to prepare.
With that thought, Qin Sisi managed a small smile and said, "It’s okay. I will go out later and buy so groceries to prepare a feast for us."
Just as Qin Sisi was about to get off the bed, Ye You abruptly grabbed her arm and said cheerfully, "I was teasing, how could I not have a gift?"
Qin Sisi was taken aback and turned around, her lips pouting in a pretend huff.
Ye You chuckled and said, "But I don’t know if you’ll like it."
Qin Sisi raised an eyebrow, "Let’s see it then."
"Hold out your hand."
Following Ye You’s instruction, Qin Sisi extended her palm. Instinctively Yuan produced sothing in her hand - a small, silver-glistening bead.
Despite being her first ti seeing it, Qin Sisi drew a conclusion based on the various pills Yeu-You gave to the ghosts in the past, she murmured, "This is... a pill?"
Ye You nodded, and kindly responded, "Right, do you rember that evil spirit with a big beard?"
Qin Sisi answered, "I rember. It was the one in the Blue and White Porcelain, right? That ghost was very powerful, I was actually quite scared."
As Qin Sisi spoke, she laughed self-deprecatingly. The incidents of that day still sent a chill down her spine.
Her cute smile caught the eye of Ye You and lted into a soft, affectionate gaze.
Ye You refocused and explained, "His Soul Power was imnse. While I couldn’t ta him, I was able to extract it to refine it into a pill. However, I went a bit overboard and shattered his soul and managed to collect only a third of his power."
Ye You’s words made Qin Sisi recall the dangerous day when she was concerned about Ye You and, acting on her own, attacked the evil spirit with a big beard. Afraid she would get hurt, in his haste, Ye You took the spirit on himself and shattered it. He did manage to collect a few strands of silver light.
Thinking about it now, Ye You could probably have handled the situation himself, it was her impulsive actions that caused the chaos.
After so much ti had passed, Qin Sisi finally realized her mistake and apologized, "Sorry, I was too impulsive and ruined your plan."
Ye You’s eyes were full of amusent, his voice as smooth as jade, "It’s okay. You were just too worried about , which shows how important I am to you."
Qin Sisi’s heart fluttered, and she shyly lowered her eyes, a faint blush spreading across her cheeks.
Ye You pointed at the small pill in her hand and said, "This Soul Pill was made from the Soul Power of the evil spirit I collected, along with so herbs. It can enhance your Magic."
"Really?" Qin Sisi’s face lit up with joy. After all this ti, she had only learned one minor skill from a magic spell.
Ye You had said her Magic was too weak to control stronger skills.
Ye You said, "You sit down for now, and check the state of your Magic Source."
Qin Sisi nodded, imdiately sat cross-legged on the bed, her eyelids slightly lowered, focusing and summoning the faint magic within her body to inspect the state of her Magic Source.
No longer needing the guidance of Ye You’s Spiritual Power, after focusing for a while, Qin Sisi finally saw her Magic Source located around her lower abdon. It looked similar to a cross-section of the Milky Way.

Ye You nodded and said, "The colour is denser, indicating that your Magic is growing. Now swallow the Soul Pill."
Qin Sisi opened her hand to find the Soul Pill quietly resting on her palm, flashing with silver light. It seed to contain an imnse amount of Magic.
She carefully picked up the Soul Pill between two fingers and swallowed it whole. She was expecting it to have so peculiar taste, but to her surprise it was completely tasteless.
The Soul Pill settled inside her, rging her body with its encapsulated Soul Power.
Ye You moved to Qin Sisi, applied his claws to her Tan Zhong point at the center of her chest, and gently infused his Spiritual Power into her, assisting her in integrating with the Soul Pill.
At first, a mild warmth gradually spread from her chest, a comforting sensation.
Gradually, the warmth transford into a heat wave. Qin Sisi felt like she was being baked under a simring mid-sumr sun. She sweated profusely, with droplets trickling down her forehead.
