Ye You tilted his head, looking at Qin Sisi. There was a playful glint in his eyes. He whispered, "Together?"

Qin Sisi’s face blushed. She responded sharply, "Don’t even think about it."

Qin Sisi turned and directly headed into the bathroom, firmly closing the door behind her.

An hour later, Qin Sisi, who had taken a refreshing bath, finally erged from the bathroom wearing long-sleeve pajamas. In her hands, she held the black windbreaker that Ye You had gifted her. She asked, "Xiao Hei, can this coat be washed in the washing machine?"

Ye You opened his eyes to look at it and said, "Yes, put it in."

"Oh." Qin Sisi nodded and said, "I thought this expensive coat couldn’t be washed with plain water. I was planning to send it to the dry cleaners."

Ye You lightly responded, "It isn’t that delicate. Regular water will do."

Qin Sisi returned to the bathroom to put the black windbreaker along with her other clothes into the washing machine. Then she ca out and said to Ye You, "I’ll help you bathe."

Before Ye You could say anything, Qin Sisi’s face turned red.

When she didn’t know Ye You’s true identity, she had bathed him a few tis. After they revealed their true selves to each other, however, Ye You had been bathing himself.

But this ti, Qin Sisi saw that Ye You was really dirty. There was a lot of ground-in dirt and sared ss on his back. She was afraid that he might not be able to clean himself thoroughly, so she offered her help.

"Mhm," Ye You responded lightly. Watching Qin Sisi’s flush with shyness, he felt both amusent and affection. He couldn’t resist playfully hooking Qin Sisi’s chin with his paw.

Qin Sisi’s face turned even redder and she scolded playfully, "Don’t ss around, or I won’t help you wash."

Ye You chuckled lightly, and sure enough, he quieted down. He didn’t disturb Qin Sisi anymore, letting her soft palms wash him.

But, no reaction was impossible.

Ye You slowly lowered his head, his eyes gradually darkened, a glint of fierce fla flashing within the darkness. His body stood erect and stiff, fervently restraining the surging emotions within his heart.

Finally, after the difficult bath, both of them let out a sigh of relief.

Qin Sisi held Ye You in bed, tightly tucking in the quilt around them.

Ye You frowned and said, "Why tuck it in so tightly?"

Qin Sisi replied quietly, "I feel a bit cold."

Ye You looked at Qin Sisi with concern. Perhaps she felt cold because she had soaked her feet in the filthy cold water in the well for a long ti.

Ye You was sowhat worried. He touched Qin Sisi’s forehead with his mouth and only after feeling her normal temperature breathed a sigh of relief. He softly said, "Sleep. You should feel better after so rest."

Qin Sisi thought for a mont and said, "I rember you said that your magic can only sustain our floating for about half an hour. But today’s return journey should have taken us close to an hour."

Qin Sisi looked at Ye You with confusion, waiting for his answer.

Ye You chuckled, gently stroked Qin Sisi’s nose with his paw and said, "Very observant of you to notice."

"So what’s the reason? Has your magic power increased?" Qin Sisi hypothesized.
