Chapter 180: Chapter 180: Takeout_1

Ye You panicked, suddenly not knowing how to react. During his previous field training in the Demon Sacred Realm, he had also endured a fair share of hardships, minor illnesses and injuries which he bore and then passed.

Now, seeing Qin Sisi with her eyebrows tightly knuckled and pained expression, he felt both heartache and self-bla. He wished he could be the one who was ill.

Ye You leaned closer to Qin Sisi, gently placed his claw on her feverishly hot cheek and softly asked, "Sisi, how are you feeling?"

Upon hearing Ye You’s voice, Qin Sisi struggled to open her eyes and then closed them weakly, murmuring, "Xiao Hei, I am cold."

Her warm breath sprayed on Ye You’s face, making his heart throb with anxiousness.

Ye You brought another blanket to cover Qin Sisi with, tucking it in more tightly than before.

Qin Sisi slept in a daze, her body oscillating between hot and cold, her head feeling slightly congested with pain, her eyebrows remaining tightly knitted the whole ti.

Ye You sighed anxiously, forcing himself to calm down. He recollected the theoretical knowledge of self-healing that he had learned during his ti at the Heavenly Magic God’s Castle, gradually formulating a plan in his mind.

The reason for Qin Sisi’s fever was undoubtedly because she caught a chill last night, but she was wearing a constant-temperature suit, so the cause of illness was likely due to her feet being soaked in cold water for too long.

Although feet provide significant support, they have many acupuncture points making them extrely sensitive parts of the body.

After identifying the cause of illness, Ye You felt sowhat at ease. He imdiately stood up, went to the foot of the bed, and dived under the blanket.

The inside of the blanket was pitch black, with not even a speck of light, but this didn’t affect Ye You’s eyes. He quickly found Qin Sisi’s feet.

Ye You lay next to Qin Sisi’s feet. His two claws were placed against her feet respectively. He then ntally recited the incantation for fire magic, mobilized his magic power, and a warm flow gradually emanated from his claws.

The warm flow was like a bubbling hot spring that enveloped Qin Sisi’s feet and then spread throughout her body along the ridians starting from the soles of her feet.

Qin Sisi let out a faint moan, feeling as if she were in a perfectly temperature-controlled stear. The warm flow andering gently inside her body forced all the invading cold air out.

Half an hour later, a sweating Ye You crawled out of the blanket and took a few deep breaths.

Being under two layers of quilts was too hot for him, the air didn’t circulate, and breathing beca difficult in the end.

Ye You paused for a mont, then walked to Qin Sisi’s side. Seeing her brows, which had been tightly knotted, now relaxed and her expression much calr, he knew his thod had worked and felt sowhat relieved.

Ye You lay by Qin Sisi’s side, watching her while he rested. Two hours later, Ye You slipped back under the blanket and again channeled the warm flow of fire magic into Qin Sisi’s body.

Afterwards, when he touched Qin Sisi’s forehead, her temperature seed to have dropped a bit.

Just as Ye You was sighing with relief, Qin Sisi suddenly moved her arm, flipping the blanket open, exposing her arms and shoulders.

Ye You frowned and imdiately stretched out his claws to put Qin Sisi’s arm back under the blanket, tucking in the corners of the blanket tightly.

Qin Sisi muzzily opened her eyes and murmured softly, "Xiao Hei, it’s hot."

Ye You quietly replied, "You have a fever. You need to be warr for it to get better."

Qin Sisi blinked, her tone sowhat coquettish, "It’s really hot."

Ye You gently kissed Qin Sisi on her forehead, patiently coaxing, "Endure it for a bit more, be good."

The gentle words were as irresistible as the soft breezes of April.

Sure enough, Qin Sisi obediently closed her eyes and fell asleep again.

After another hour passed, Qin Sisi, in a daze, stretched lazily, and opened her sleepy eyes.

Staring at the ceiling for a while, the events of her hazy sleep beca clearer. Qin Sisi subconsciously moved her feet, which seed to retain the warmth left by Ye You.

A light blush crept onto Qin Sisi’s face. She turned her head and t Ye You’s caring gaze.

"Awake? Do you feel better?" Ye You asked with concern.

Qin Sisi nodded with a red face, replying quietly, "Much better."

Ye You said apologetically, "I checked the kitchen earlier, I can’t cook, I can’t make you dinner."

A touch of emotion welled up in Qin Sisi’s heart, she smiled and said, "It’s okay, we can order take-out."

"Take-out?" Ye You looked a bit puzzled. Qin Sisi rarely ate take-out, she had never ordered it before, so Ye You was quite unfamiliar with it.

Qin Sisi said gently, "Could you get my phone for ?"

"Okay." Ye You responded, turning to go to the living room to retrieve Qin Sisi’s phone for her.

Qin Sisi picked up the phone and quickly placed the take-out order. Ye You watched her actions from the side, silently morizing the entire process.

Forty minutes later, the delivery guy, carrying a bag, entered the building where Qin Sisi lived.

The doorbell rang and the door was quickly opened. The delivery guy showed a professional smile and handed over the bag containing the take-out.

However, after waiting for a while, no one appeared.

The delivery guy was about to puzzle over it when he suddenly heard a resounding cat ow from below—"ow!"

The delivery guy jumped, quickly looking down to see a black cat with deep eyes standing there looking at him.

Seeing that the delivery guy noticed him, Ye You turned and walked to the dining table, pointed at it with his claw.

The delivery guy got the hint quickly, understood what Ye You ant, imdiately walked into the room, and placed the take-out on the dining table. He then looked at Ye You in surprise.

Ye You pointed his claw at the doorway.

The delivery guy imdiately understood that his task was completed, the cat was ushering him away.

The delivery guy couldn’t help but chuckle, thinking the cat was pretty smart!

The delivery guy was about to leave when the bedroom door opened. Qin Sisi, looking pale, walked out from inside. Although she looked much better, the traces of illness on her face were apparent, and her long hair was a bit disheveled.

Hearing the doorbell, she thought the take-out had arrived. Although Ye You had volunteered to get the take-out, Qin Sisi still didn’t rest assured and decided to co out and see for herself.

The delivery guy imdiately greeted her, saying, "Hello, did you order take-out? I’ve put it on the table."

Pointing to the table, he continued to talk to Qin Sisi.

Qin Sisi smiled and said, "Yes, I placed the order. Thank you."

The delivery guy also hurriedly laughed and responded, "You’re welco, then I’ll be going. Enjoy your al."

As the delivery guy was about to leave, he turned back and praised, "Your cat is quite clever!"

"Uh..." Qin Sisi hesitated for a mont and said with a laugh, "He’s not bad."

The delivery guy left with a smile.
