It was almost midnight when the group finally staggered out of the karaoke bar, laughing and swaying.
After saying their goodbyes, they finally dispersed.
One of the n expressed his concern to Zhou Zichen, "Manager Zhou, you’ve had quite a few drinks tonight. Why don’t you take a cab ho?"
Zhou Zichen waved him off nonchalantly, "No worries, I’ve been fine even when I’ve drunk more. Don’t worry."
Seeing his refusal, the man shrugged and stopped insisting, advising him to take care on the road before parting ways.
Zhou Zichen got into his car but didn’t imdiately drive off. He sat there and smoked a cigarette to sober up before finally starting the car.
Zhuang Qin watched stone-faced, floating behind Zhou Zichen’s car quietly. anwhile, Ye You enveloped Qin Sisi and himself in the semi-transparent silver sphere again, closely following Zhou Zichen’s car.
Qin Sisi kept her eyes on Zhou Zichen’s car, but also watched Zhuang Qin. She had a hunch that Zhuang Qin would take action soon.
After following Zhou Zichen for a while, Qin Sisi realized that the road they were on was familiar. It was the sa road they’d used to tail the thugs to the body disposal location last night.
Was this the sa route Zhou Zichen took to go ho? Could it really be such a coincidence?
