"Lily, have you found any results?" the second prince asked.

"No, the person who spread the rumors was very secretive, all the sources of information are highly scattered, it’s nearly impossible to find the origin." Lily replied.

"Which ans, he deliberately did it." the second prince murmured to himself.

"Could it be the third brother?" Lily asked.

"No, whatever the third brother is up to, this information does him no good. Though the third brother is ruthless, he is not stupid. And if he is seeking sothing, he must have supporters, and those supporters would never let him do such a thing." the second prince said.

"I’ll continue to investigate then." Lily said.

"No need, even if we find out who did it, it wouldn’t be of much use. What I need to think about now is how to respond. Right now, I’m not in a passive situation, although the Emperor has not explicitly indicated so, he has not denied it either. For , everything is still favorable. As long as I don’t do anything out of the ordinary, I won’t stir up any trouble." the second prince said.

"In that case, I’ll arrange to increase the level of surveillance on the third brother once more." Lily said.

"Thank you for your hard work." the second prince said with gratitude.

"As the future Imperial Consort, I must contribute to my country, won’t I?" Lily chuckled lightly and vanished into thin air.

For lunch, Long Yi, Ai Lin, Wesley, and the head chef Mosquito Brother were all eating together, as usual.

"Brother Long, just look at those envious and hateful looks around us, we are enduring for you." the head chef said as he ate.

"Envious of what? Am I taller than them?" Long Yi didn’t understand.

"Didn’t you hear? The second prince has been appointed as the heir to the throne, and you are going to be the brother of the future Emperor." Wesley quickly showed his value for information.

"Oh, this is what you an. I thought the Emperor wanted to give the throne." Long Yi pursed his lips, not caring about such things at all.

"Let’s forget about it, if you beco the Emperor, I fear your first order might be to have all the girls wear tight bodysuits." The head chef saw clearly the lustful nature of Long Yi, who always looked innocent.

"Shush! Keep it low! Don’t shout it out!" Long Yi glanced left and right, while Ai Lin blushed, kept her head down, and ate without joining their discussion.

"Brother Long, are you really planning to be a soldier all your life?" Wesley asked abruptly.

"All my life? No, I have grand ambitions too." Long Yi said.

"Ambitions?"

Everyone perked up in interest.

"Yes, ambitions. I’ve always wanted to go up and see." Long Yi pointed upwards.

"The canteen rooftop?" Mosquito suddenly opened his mouth.

"Bullshit, he ant the sky!" the head chef said.

"Perhaps, it’s the higher dinsional plane?" Wesley speculated in a low voice.

"Yes, the higher dinsional planes." Long Yi confird.

"Really, Brother Long, are you out of your mind? That higher dinsional plane is flooding with powerhouses as common as strays. Even though you are extraordinary in this academy, going up there and a re sneeze from them could end your life." The head chef had so understanding about the higher dinsional plane.

"Hence, I have to beco stronger first, strong enough to be able to wipe out an area with just a sneeze when I reach the higher dinsional plane." Long Yi said, taking a big bite.

The head chef looked at Mosquito in surprise, both of them could see the seriousness in Long Yi’s eyes. They originally thought Long Yi was just casually speaking, but now, they realized he was actually serious!

"Brother Long, are you crazy? That’s the higher dinsional plane! It’s not a place where any Tom, Dick, or Harry can go!" The head chef unintentionally lowered his voice, just like he was afraid of being overheard.

"So what?" Long Yi replied with a smile.

"So what? Wesley, explain to Brother Long what the higher dinsional plane is!" The head chef couldn’t believe his own ears, he pulled Wesley into the conversation, trying to use factual evidence to prove Long Yi’s idea was unreliable.

"Ahem, the so-called higher dinsional plane is actually a high-energy dinsional plane." Wesley began, "The definition of a high-energy dinsional plane can be explained as - the energy density of that world is far higher than our human realm. An extrely high energy density will lead to a substantial instability of energy, just like the Elental World, is a product of such extre instability of energy. Ordinary high-energy dinsional planes may not be as extre as the Elental World, but it’s far from a place where ordinary humans could bear. For instance, if you or I enter the demon realm, the realm’s energy alone is enough to cause a violent fluctuation of energy in our bodies, eventually making us explode, leaving behind not even a trace. anwhile, the lifeforms of that world have evolved to completely adapt to that harsh environnt. They are born incredibly strong. The monsters that invaded our human realm before, besides the large ones, were in their original plane just ordinary lifeforms. But in our world, they required even our Dragon Knights to hunt them down. Why? Because our well-trained ordinary soldiers couldn’t harm them! Even so, there were nurous injured among our Dragon Knights, and even two Dragon Knights fell!"

"There were Dragon Knights that fell?"

Long Yi hadn’t heard about this, but then again, Long Yi was the type of person who wouldn’t care for external affairs.

"Yes, we actually knew those two Dragon Knights, although we were not close. They were a team and encountered a grade-eight monster. They initially thought they could make a fortune with the resources their family provided, but in the end, both of them didn’t even manage to pull out their scrolls before they died."
