The little rmaid was intelligent and sensible. She understood that a true warrior did not like to be disturbed during combat. Therefore, she kept silent and quietly watched Long Yi win battle after battle.
It was obvious that as the tournant progressed, the difficulty of the battles gradually increased. People finally realized that it wasn’t easy to take advantage of this situation.
Long Yi felt he had earned enough credits for the day and fighting these run-of-the-mill competitors held no amusent for him.
"I am leaving now." Long Yi told the little rmaid, Mina.
"Ah, are you leaving, big brother?" Mina was sowhat reluctant to see him go. Watching him fight was quite interesting, and she did not want him to leave.
"Yes, I’ve earned enough credits for now, and I still have lots of howork to do." Long Yi said with a smile.
"Alright! When will you co back to the Battlefield of Gods?" Mina asked.
"Battlefield of Gods?" Long Yi apparently hadn’t heard of this new term before.
"Yes, this place is called the Battlefield of Gods. It is a virtual battlefield created by the Gods so that the warriors would have no worries while training." Mina explained.
"This place, wasn’t it called the Dragon God’s Space?" Long Yi was sowhat confused.
"Dragon God’s Space? What’s that?" Mina shook her little head.
"Alright, never mind... I am not sure when I’ll co back. I joined originally just to earn so credits." Long Yi tactfully diverted the topic of the Dragon God’s Space.
"Then, if I co to the Dragon Knight Academy to look for you, will you be angry?" Mina cautiously asked.
"Why would I be angry? If you co to play, I’d be more than happy to welco you." Long Yi said with a laugh.
"Then it’s settled! When the ti cos, you must take all around for fun!" Mina replied enthusiastically.
"It’s a deal!" Long Yi said.
Watching Mina disappear, Long Yi returned to his private space from the battlefield.
In his mind, Mina’s words lingered.
Dragon God’s Space, Battlefield of Gods.
These were two completely different nas, implying ownership issues concerning this place.
Yet another puzzle erged, and Long Yi felt his intelligence being stretched.
Sowhere else, Lei Zhen, another person who felt his wit was being tested, angrily stord out of the Dragon God’s Space and headed for the Imperial Palace.
At that mont, the Crown Prince was enjoying his lunch when Lei Zhen barged in, grabbed him by the shoulder without uttering a word.
"Who is that Anonymous? Tell ! I want to personally slaughter that bastard!" Lei Zhen’s eyes were bloodshot, and veins were bulging on his forehead. He was clearly on the verge of an emotional breakdown.
"Calm down, first tell what happened?" The Crown Prince, being abruptly attacked by Lei Zhen, was completely baffled, he signaled the guards to leave and settled Lei Zhen on a nearby chair.
"What happened? That bastard who dared to disrespect !" Lei Zhen in a rage recounted his recent experiences. Upon hearing this, the Crown Prince couldn’t help but smile.
"From what you told , it doesn’t seem like Long Yi is to be blad, right?" The Crown Prince said.
"What? Long Yi? So that Anonymous is actually the new cor, Long Yi?" Lei Zhen was taken aback.
"Yes, surprised aren’t you, initially, I didn’t believe it either." The Crown Prince laughed. "So, you suspected him too?"
"Golden Left Hand and Golden Right Hand told ." Lei Zhen replied without hiding his irritation.
"Those two girls!" The Crown Prince shook his head.
"Alright, you continue your al, I’m going to find Long Yi!" Lei Zhen stood up and prepared to leave.
"What are you going to say to him?" asked the Crown Prince, not stopping him.
"I’ll say..." Lei Zhen was imdiately stumped. Indeed, they had no personal grudges, and he couldn’t accuse Long Yi of disrespecting him when Long Yi probably didn’t even know him! Moreover, he couldn’t really bla Long Yi for his inability to secure a battlefield, could he?
"So what should I do?!" Lei Zhen directly passed the problem to the Crown Prince.
"How does it relate to ..." The Crown Prince clearly did not want to intervene.
"I heard that you were pretty close to Long Yi during the New Year’s Eve banquet." Lei Zhen hinted.
"You’re pretty inford, considering I thought you would be oblivious." The Crown Prince responded with a smile.
"I’m not deaf. The rumor about the Emperor planning to let you inherit his position and have you cultivate your own base has been spreading throughout the Imperial City since New Year’s Eve. I don’t live in isolation, how could I not hear about it?" Lei Zhen replied.
"Ah..." Upon hearing this, the Crown Prince’s expression seed to be one of concern. "I’m not sure who started this rumor, but ever since it began to spread, my younger brother has been looking at very differently. I’m quite worried."
The Crown Prince said.
"Little brother, you know, I’ve always been on your side." Lei Zhen suddenly said seriously.
"I know, I know, but this matter concerning the Imperial family, if it truly kicks off, it will be chaos." The Crown Prince shook his head, as if to rid himself of the negative thoughts. He brought back his radiant smile and said, "How about this, I’ll arrange a ti for both of you to have a friendly match?"
"Good! That’s exactly what I’ve been waiting for! I’ll definitely give him a good challenge! Hehe!"
Pleased by his gains, Lei Zhen left the room full of energy. After a mont of thoughtful silence, the Crown Prince slightly raised his hand. The air behind him distorted, and out walked a girl. It was none other than the Two-star jester.
