[Donald’s POV]
"Additionally, you two will head to the Star Moon Pavilion with my decree right now! Command those people to leave imdiately. My choice for the Lycan Queen is already quite certain, and I do not require others to worry about it for . When Margaret fully recovers to a healthy state, that is when I will hold the coronation ceremony for her as Queen."
In the midst of my speaking, the door to the operating room was suddenly pulled open from the inside. My eyes brightened, and I stepped forward, continuing to speak without a pause, "If anyone dares to defy this decree, have them co to directly."
"Yes, Your Majesty!"
"Yes, Your Majesty!"
As the voices of Benjamin and Clark echoed in unison, I had already begun to converse with the doctor standing at the door of the operating room, no longer continuing my conversation with them.
"How is Margaret doing? She’s not in any trouble, is she?"
The doctor, who had clearly just stepped away from the operating table, glanced at respectfully before responding, "Your Majesty, the surgery went very smoothly! The ergency asures you took and the patient’s expedited transport to the hospital were all very tily. The surgery was a success, and as long as the recovery treatnt proceeds normally, the patient should be able to be discharged within a month."
The doctor’s words allowed the heavy stone in my heart to gradually settle. I took a deep breath, only then realizing my legs had grown sowhat weak.
It turns out that from the mont I carried Margaret off the helicopter until now, I had been standing with tense nerves the entire ti, no wonder my legs were weak.
"That’s good! Very good! It’s a relief she’s alright. I appreciate all your hard work, and I entrust the Queen’s subsequent recovery treatnt to you as well." As I spoke, I exhaled deeply once more, joy of surviving a close call still apparent in the depths of my eyes.
Benjamin and Clark also stood in place and listened to the news before departing. I paid them no attention, instead continuing to question the doctor about when Margaret could wake up and when I could go see her.
Licia had been standing by my side all along. Seeing the weight and gloom fade from my deanor with just a few words from the doctor, she too couldn’t help but let out a sigh.
After observing , she waved over several maidservants and quietly issued them a few instructions before turning to with a gentle voice, "Now that there are temporarily no other concerns with Margaret, shouldn’t you also relax a little? Donald, you too have just been through a battle and need to rest properly."
"Let Dr. Ace take care of Margaret for now, and you go back to the Eastern Shine Palace to wash up and regroup," Licia said as she turned her head toward the doctor nad Ace, her facial expression still warm and kind, "Notify His Majesty imdiately of any signs of Margaret waking up, will you?"
Dr. Ace naturally wouldn’t refuse and promised respectfully.
I looked at my mother, who had already arranged everything, and after pondering for a mont, I nodded in agreent.
Dr. Ace had ntioned earlier that Margaret might not truly wake up until tomorrow. I was in a disheveled state, and there were several other orders I needed to give to my subordinates, so retreating to the palace to recuperate was indeed necessary.
But before returning, I needed to check on Margaret’s condition first!
After pondering for a mont, Dr. Ace nodded in agreent to my request and led to the intensive careward to see Margaret.
...
I suppose the girl lying on the hospital bed, with her incredibly pale face and eyes closed as if she were asleep, had never suffered such severe injuries!
She did all this to protect .
I reached out to gently straighten Margaret’s disheveled hair on her face, exhaled softly, and a tender smile played on my lips, "Promise you’ll wake up soon, okay? Mother is still waiting outside to et you, you two haven’t t before!"
As I spoke, I bent down to kiss Margaret’s forehead and continued in a soft tone, "If you don’t speak, I’ll take it as your agreent. I’m going back to the palace to attend to so matters and will co to see you later. I promise, when you open your eyes, I’ll be by your side."
The bright and tidy hospital room was very quiet, except for my muttering and the sounds of the machines monitoring Margaret’s vital signs. Margaret did not respond to in any way.
I smiled, stood up, and left the hospital room.
Now that Margaret’s condition had stabilized, it was ti to settle the score with certain individuals!
After all, I am not soone who can be deceived and bullied by just anyone. For those harboring malicious intentions, it was ti to pay a price.
At a quarter past eight that evening, I summoned several executive ministers to the Eastern Shine Pavilion and issued several royal decrees that shocked them.
