[Donald’s POV]

Anthony had also dealt with the watchful Lycan, while Christian was carefully advancing among us, step by step.

The Lycan troops I led had all safely touched down, and I had a premonition that this was going to be a night of exceptionally smooth operations.

Because a cluster of houses quickly ca into our view, and the one that caught our eyes the most was the most magnificent dwelling perched at the very top.

I gave Christian a hand signal to move forward and rushed towards that direction, lowering my breaths. I thought that there would probably be soone I was anticipating to et inside, such as the unmasked ’MASTER’!

As I approached the exquisite two-story house, I noticed the light from a window on the first floor flicker for a mont, giving an uneasy feeling.

I pressed myself against the stair’s side panel, using the cover of night to hide my presence, and once again lowered the sound of my breathing.

That was the ssage Christian conveyed to from the rooftop across from .

I strained to listen to the footsteps overhead, suddenly feeling that the sound was sowhat familiar.

"Who’s there?"

Realizing our presence had been exposed, I made a split-second decision, stepping on a box by my leg, using the leverage to leap onto the wooden stairs, and completed the shift just before the enemy could make out my figure!

"Night raid! We’re under a night raid! Where’s the alarm, sound the alarm!"

"What? Who could have gotten past our guard to co here? Who is it?"

"Attack! Kill these intruders!"

"No! MASTER is still in the house, brothers, charge and protect MASTER!"

"Angel..."

Hearing the alarms and shouts coming from all directions, I wasn’t the least bit worried about these people’s counterattack, because those who could appear here were the elite of the Wolf royal family’s Lycans, and naturally, they could easily handle this motley crew.

The only surprise to was the enemy who had first sensed sothing wrong, she happened to be an acquaintance of the assault team and personal guard force, but she was not the MASTER I wanted to see.

"Long ti no see, Donald, did you miss ?"

I pressed Angel to the ground with my wolf claw and said sternly, "Shut your mouth, Angel, I didn’t want to see you here at all. He’s inside, isn’t he?"

"Who? Are you talking about MASTER?" Angel countered with feigned confusion, her eyes full of craftiness.

Not intending to waste any more words on Angel, I pushed her aside, and my massive, silver-white body burst through the wooden door in an instant.

"He might have been a mont ago, but now, I wouldn’t know," Angel’s voice rang out behind . I didn’t want to engage with her, and seeing the Black Wolf running up to the second floor, I didn’t hesitate to chase after him!

I had a strong feeling that the so-called ’MASTER’ had just overheard my conversation with Angel through that wooden door.

"Stop!" I yelled sternly, but the other party was obviously not the sort to comply obediently.

I quickly climbed to the second floor in pursuit of his figure, watching helplessly as he leaped out from a very concealed window, a window I wouldn’t have thought of opening had I not seen MASTER opening it himself.

"We’ll et again soon, Donald. Hahaha!"

I followed his voice to the window, without any hesitation to jump out after him, but I was imdiately repelled by a colossal force, like a powerful, inviolable Energy Shield!

My body, thrown by the repulsion, shattered the wooden furniture behind , and when I got up from the ground, shaking off the dizziness in my head, MASTER had already vanished, blending into the forest like the favored child of the night, leaving no trace to be followed.

I couldn’t help but swear, and had it not been for Anthony and Christian firmly holding back, I would have torn the entire second floor apart in my rage!

"Are you all right, Your Majesty? When we ca up, you were just bounced back by that power wall; are you hurt?"

The pain spreading across my back did little to quell my fury. I took a few deep breaths before turning to Christian, "I’m alright. Did you catch Angel? MASTER has already fled; she must not escape again!"

"Yes, Your Majesty! Mark is leading a team to encircle her below. Those Lycans saw MASTER fleeing without looking back, and they also abandoned her, each running for their lives!" Christian replied.

I looked towards the wide-open balcony doors on the second floor, leaped with ease, and landed firmly on the ground below, my greenish-grey wolf eyes fixed intently on Angel not far away.

As long as we catch her today, we have a chance of finding out about MASTER’s whereabouts later.

"Capture her; I want all the information on MASTER. Don’t let her get away again," I ordered everyone in a calm voice.
