Chapter 559: Serpent Vs. Dragon [IV]
Killing intent. Sothing Elaina have experienced countless of tis from monsters especially those who are strong or considered as bosses of the dungeon.
Elaina cannot be mistaken. The aura emitting from Mier’s arm is indeed killing intent. However, it is weird.
Because killing intent usually cos from an individual who are willing to kill. It is an ability that helps lower the defenses or make the opponent cower in fear. However, the killing intent coming from Mier isn’t coming directly from Mier herself. It is only coming from her infected arm.
Elaina’s instinct is screaming for her to grab her sword and cut off Mier’s arm as soon as possible. However, she made sure to suppress the feeling as much as possible. Just because a killing intent is currently directed to them, doesn’t an it is necessary to deal with it with dismbernt.
The killing intent is getting stronger the more Elaina waters the leaves covering Mier’s whole arm. She made sure to water it diligently like a regular plant.
Mier opens up her eyes and started screaming. Her pupils even changed like it was coming from a serpent. She started lashing out and is trying to break free from the vines that the Harvest Goddess has already setup. In fact, so of the vines that the Harvest Goddess has already setup before snapped, causing the Harvest Goddess to conjure another set of vines to keep her being held in place.
"She is unbelievably strong!" The Harvest Goddess exclaid as she tried her best to keep her in place.
"Looks like the Serpent curse is already taking over her body. But that also ans the way we are doing this is working and the serpent’s power is trying to reject and repel the effects as much as possible.
"We need to keep the pressure. Harvest Goddess, make sure to keep the vines strong and replenished every ti it gets snapped!" Elaina exclaid.
"You don’t need to tell
twice on this!" The Harvest Goddess is already working with her ability.
Perhaps because of the situation and all the screaming Mier has been doing ever since the blessed watering can is pouring water to her cursed arm, the children also got outside with worried looks on their faces. Julia is currently stopping them from getting close to the area, but there is no stopping them from getting closer.
"Guys, I told you all to remain inside and wait for the news! Things are not looking good and we can’t just go there and cause problems to the situation!" Julia is trying her best to move the little kids away from the operation.
"No! We can’t just ignore on Mier’s suffering! If there is sothing we can do, we will be there with Mier!" Adelaide insists. The others also nodding.
As much as Julia wanted to block them, she didn’t want to restrict them either. In the end, the kids managed to get near and found the current situation happening to Mier.
Mier continues to scream. Her bound arms are struggling to overpower the vines that the Harvest Goddess summons to bind her. Even the others are surprised at the aggression that Mier is showing and the ferocity on her behavior. It is enough to show that she is getting dangerous.
Mier’s covered arm is now smoking and is releasing a putrid sll every single ti the water from the watering can makes contact with Mier’s contaminated hands, it acts like a strong acid that is battling against her curse.
"What should we do next, God of Farming?! I don’t think just continuously pouring water from the watering can is enough to fight off the curse on Mier’s arm! I don’t think that gave any good signs as well!" Elaina complained. She is worried that the operation will completely fail.
"[Relax, Elaina. Rest assured that Mier is doing her best to remain and survive like she should be doing. The situation looks grim, but is working. The only thing that might cause a big alarm is that the process is painful for her. However, this is necessary if we needed to have her survive without having her hands be permanently removed.]"
"So what you are saying is that we needed to be calm and keep the situatioj flow?" Elaina doesn’t look convinced.
"[I know you are doubting this, Elaina. But having her arm smoking everyti the water from the watering can makes contact with her skin, is enough proof that the water is doing its job of removing the curse. The power of the dragon also amplifies the power of that watering can as well so that only logical thing we can do is to continue the session and have Mier suffer for a while to succeed the whole thing.]"
Elaina grits her teeth. She is not liking the fact that Mier needs to suffer for quite so ti just to survive and have her keep her arm withour succumbing to the curse.
"I am sorry about this matter, Mier!" Elaina closes her eyes and continue watering Mier’s covered hand. As she does so, the stronger Mier’s screams becos.
"How long is this gonna go on and on, farr?! I don’t think my abilities are capable of continously binding Mier, forever! Her strength is overwhelming as ti goes on and I don’t think my capabiies will be enough to keep her bound with the vines!" The Harvest Goddess complained.
"Just a little bit more, Harvest Goddess!" Elaina reassured the Harvest Goddess even though she is also doubting the situation and whether the whole thing is even working.
While Elaina and the Harvest Goddess are looking at the situation and is a worried at the outco, the other side of the chaos which is currently ongoing and happening under the sea has turned to an unexpected turn of events.

Under the sea, rfolk Kingdom.
The adventurers and forr heroes are still locked in against the Leviathan. The rampage has caused several injuries and close to fatalities with the adventurers. Of course, no one had died, just yet and that is a good sign but with the Leviathan still showing as active and causing more chaos, Rakkan, feared for the worst.
However, not too long ago, while he is attacking it along with the other adventurers, he noticed sothing is happening to the Leviathan and from the looks of it, everyone also noticed sothing wrong with the Serpent.
The Leviathan is unusually unfocused all of a sudden. It’s attacks are suddenly toned down and all of its signature attacks stopped all of a sudden. It still attacks from ti to ti but it seems to be distracted to sothing. It seems to be still attacking on sothing as an invisible enemy that the Serpent is the only one seeing.
"Did you do sothing to the serpent, honey?" Liliana asked Rakkan, curious for the sudden cause of the Serpent’s behavior to suddenly shift.
"Not that I can recall aside from attacking it with the others. But I don’t think that was the actual cause. Sothing else is causing it to be so fully distracted," Rakkan explained himself.
"Is that so? Well, it doesn’t matter whether ir was you or an outside force. The fact that the Serpent is now showing sothing that causes trouble to itself, I think we should use this opportunity to deal with this serpent once and for all?" Liliana is ready to give the command.
"Looks like we have the sa idea, honey. Back us up as always. We don’t know if this serpent is just acting up or there is sothing genuinely happening with it," Rakkan grinned and activates several layers of buffing skill, powering himself up.
"Of course. Just leave the backline to
and the others and make sure to give this big serpent a good whacking!"
Rakkan nodded and started to rally the soldiers to fight again. With the blessings and buff that the saintess has given to them alongside with their own buffs to themselves, the soldiers renewed their vigor to fight again.
"Ti to deal with this serpent and deal with it for good! I know you guys are a bit frustrated that we have yet finished the f*cker down but now that we are given a chance like no other, there is no other ripe ti to do it. Let’s give it our all to beat it and subjugate the monster! Are you all with , Lads?!" Rakkan turned to look at his group.
"YEEEEAAAHHH!"
"That’s what I like to hear! Now, once everyone has received their buffs, get your asses going and attack!" Rakkan leads the charge once more and rushes towards the Leviathan while also charging his fist attack.
The others also did the sa and are heading towards the serpent, hoping that their strike would be the one that will claim the serpent’s life.
As for why the serpent is a bit distracted, they didn’t know that a certain farr and a goddess are currently dispelling and removing a piece of the serpent’s life permanently with the power of the dragon and blessed relic accompanied by the power of a certain farming God.
