Chapter 102: Moving Over

Elaina is busy finishing the remaining tasks on the farm after planting all the waterlon seeds when the teleporter that Troy uses glows and spills out Troy carrying a few bags with him. He puts them aside on the farm before going back to the teleporter and disappearing again, only for him to return carrying more stuff.

He stopped doing it after three tries and by then, he already carried a lot and Elaina could tell that this was a different matter of "staying for a while."

"Brother?" Elaina frowned as she slowly approached the tired Troy after the final baggage was carried to the farm.

"Oh, Elaina. Good noon. Is everything alright?"

"What’s with all the baggage with you?" Elaina glanced at his baggage and she noticed that so of it was his precious stuff that he usually displayed only in his room. Most of them are stashed inside the small case and she noticed it since it wasn’t closed properly she had seen them multiple tis when she ca over to Troy’s apartnt back when she was still an empress.

"Wait, haven’t I told you?" Troy was surprised that Elaina didn’t know about it.

"Huh? Tell

what?" Elaina is confused yet she has already got an idea.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about it. Well, it doesn’t matter but let

fill you in. After the incident with our parents, I decided to leave Luminiera and move to another place to avoid them. And the place I decided to move in is..."

"...Here in Darcero Kingdom, I presu?" Elaina guessed.

"Yes. If I remain in Luminiera Kingdom, then with our parents back there, they will try and force

to use the teleporter I have to access this place again now that the ban is up on the ports. And before they can do that, I decided to move over here."

"Wait, aren’t the people of Luminiera Kingdom banned from entering Darcero Kingdom? You were still a citizen of Luminiera Kingdom, you know?" Elaina is worried.

"No worries. I have already transferred my citizenship here in Darcero Kingdom. I asked the First Princess permission to do so and they gave

the green light to do so which is why it won’t be a big problem for

to return here."

"But where will you live? Just so you know, the Farm House is still not yet ready to house more people. Even the princess has to sleep in the living room with her pet bear. I still don’t have a spare room to hand over to you without repairing the house."

"Don’t worry, Sis. I won’t be staying here. I rented an apartnt similar to the apartnt I used in the Luminiera Kingdom. It’s also nearby and the rent is cheap as well, making it perfect for

and in case you needed my help or assistance."

"Sorry about that, really," Elaina apologized.

"What are you apologizing for? It’s fine and besides it’s a great place (especially since I can go and visit the clinic much faster than before)," Troy answered while also whispering a bit about the main reason why he chose that place.

"Huh? You said sothing, brother?" Elaina frowned after hearing sothing that Troy murmured to himself.

"No, nothing. Anyway, I will be carrying this stuff to the apartnt. Perhaps I can borrow the storage bag I gave to you? Baggage is heavy and it ti ti-consuming to co back here a few tis. It will save

much ti if I use that instead."

"Sure. I am not using it at the mont so go ahead," Elaina handed over the storage bag to Troy and the latter nodded.

"I will return this after I am done with my stuff. So don’t worry about it."

After that, Troy started to pack up the luggage he carried with him and put them inside the storage bag. Elaina didn’t linger long and returned to her work. As for Troy, he started humming about as he headed straight to the apartnt.

Troy is excited to move into the place because it is a much fresher place for him and the area is not polluted with machines and smoke bellows coming from the nearby factories. The factories are still present but it wasn’t as bad as Luminiera Kingdom’s exhaust problems near factories. He kind of wondered how in the hell the higher-ups in the factories even think that it is fine to let the smoke up without any problem when it is polluting the air to the point that it makes people sick.

For him, this is a new life and also a good chance for him to make his moves. Because the apartnt he was going to stay in was just beside the clinic that Elaina visits frequently for checkups. One of his reasons for doing this is to help Elaina once she goes through problems and needs the call of the doctor. But one of his main objectives here is none other than the Doctor herself, Miss Fey.

When he arrived at the apartnt, he saw the landlord that is currently setting up the final stuff for his room. The landlord smiled when he saw Troy arriving.

"So, you are going to be moving today officially? My, and I never thought I would be honored to have one of the greatest chanist to rent an apartnt from ," the landlord laughed as he handed the keys to Troy.

"Haha, it’s not that I am a great chanist but I just take passion on my work," Troy is embarrassed.

"Not really. It takes dedication and effort to beco good at your work and even I wouldn’t be able to do that kind of thing. So be proud of it. Anyway, here is the key to your room. In case you accidentally locked the key or perhaps lost it, just ask

as I will allow you to borrow the spare key or duplicate it again if you lost it. From now on, you are now a resident in this building."

"Thanks."

"Alright, I will be going now. Just knock on the store below if there are any complaints or problems you have, alright?"

Troy nodded and as the landlord left, Troy sighed in relief and held the key to open the door when the door on the apartnt beside him opened, he was surprised to see that his neighbor would be soone that he was planning to et.

"Oh, are you the one who is going to occupy the vacant room?" Miss Fey appeared before Troy. As usual, she remained like she didn’t have any sleep and her hair was just ssy with clear bed hair still sticking out. Despite that, she still looks fine and she still sohow looks respectable, especially with the doctor coat she is wearing.

Troy imdiately calms himself down despite wanting to thank the heavens for the unexpected blessing that arrived to him ever since he decided to pick the apartnt. He needed to still air professionalism despite the feeling he wanted to reveal.

"Ah...hello, Doc. Yes, I will be moving today and I am going to be your neighbor starting today. I didn’t know you were living next to the apartnt I was renting though."

"Hey...you are the brother of my patient, Elaina. Tray was it? Or was it Trey?"

"Ahem...it is Troy."

"Ah, yes. Sorry about that. I have a lot of things to rember so I tend to get wrong with it. But anyway, I didn’t expect you to move in here. Is it because you wanted to support your sister more than before?" Miss Fey asked.

"That is one thing. It is also near the current place I am working in and not only that, I can call for you in case my Sister needed so help dically."

"It’s good for Elaina to have a supportive brother. And seeing that you will be officially my neighbor today, how about we go to a al later this evening? To celebrate becoming neighbors? Don’t worry, my treat."

"Is that a tradition here?" Troy asked.

"Not really. It gets lonely to be on my loneso renting one room of the apartnt without any neighbors and the neighbors on the bottom floor are not really what I consider my nearby neighbors. So you can say this is an exclusive thing for you."

"Haha, well I am not going to decline on that. Free food is free food," Troy smiled.

"I know right? Well anyway, good to know that you will be my neighbor starting today. I am sure that you still have stuff you need to take care of so I won’t be holding you for long. Just don’t forget to et

outside the clinic later okay? If you don’t co, I will just co knock on your door."

"Thanks. And good day to you."

"To you as well."

Miss Fey nodded before listlessly descending on the stairs. As for Troy, he enters his apartnt and silently celebrates. For him, it is like hitting the jackpot.
