Lia’s vacant gaze switched between

"Wha... What happened? How did she die?" She questioned through her tears.
"I burned her soul away. There’s nothing after that, no reincarnation, no heaven nor hell. You simply cease to exist once your soul is erased or devoured like that." I stated plainly, without sugarcoating it, as I knew that she had to brave through this one challenge to beco stronger coming out of it.
I slithered over to her and she flinched. It seems that despite the fact that I saved her life, she was still fearful of . Which is fair, I am a demon, and we don’t have the greatest reputations. Plus, I killed three of her party mbers, but she doesn’t need to know that.
I stopped a little bit in front of her and sat on my tail once again, ignoring the corpse behind .
"So, what now?" I asked blankly.
"Huh?" Lia stared at

"Well... What are you going to do now? The goddess won’t let you go and will likely send stronger people after you if she has them." I explained the dire circumstances that she was in.

"No. I’m sorry, but I can’t protect you. I have my own journey that I’m taking, and I can’t bring you with , you wouldn’t survive." I rejected her cry for help. "Besides, I’ve interfered enough as is, and I don’t want a target on my back. With my background I already have tons." I said that last part with a laugh, except it was anything but humorous.
Lia lowered her head as she took in my words. "Then... What do I do?"
"Honestly? ..." I wasn’t sure how to answer that as I hadn’t been in such a situation like hers, so I just spouted sothing that seed reasonable, "Just run away, leave this life behind and start a new one."
"But, I have nowhere to go..." She responded despondently.
"Are there not other kingdoms that would take you in?" I asked.

Lia then told

I looked down and began hoping that she was the one that was still stuck up in that trap up there. I could still vaguely recall what she looked like, and I’m sure that I could find so record of her appearance with my powers as Dungeon Master anyways just to double check if need be.

"... She was a pretty woman, like . Her body was much mor alluring than mine though, thicker and more mature too, and her hair is shinier than mine as well. It’s actually white hair despite the fact that it looks black, and that’s because she dyed it that way to hide her special features." She went on to explain more about her sister’s appearance as well as her likes and dislikes.
This was good, it ant that she was healing to so extent by talking about her sister. And if I recall, the two won in my stomach had blonde and brown hair? I can’t rember.
That was when I decided to drop her sister down here. So I willed the dungeon to release her from the trap and she landed on the floor as if she was expecting this.
Like what Lia said about her, her hair was indeed whit, most likely because the trap removed the dye used to make it black.
