Chapter 186: Aftermath

Lia’s vacant gaze switched between

and the dead body of her forr friend and probably ntor. She was crying without end as she saw the body of her forr companion fall limp and lifeless on the ground.

"Wha... What happened? How did she die?" She questioned through her tears.

"I burned her soul away. There’s nothing after that, no reincarnation, no heaven nor hell. You simply cease to exist once your soul is erased or devoured like that." I stated plainly, without sugarcoating it, as I knew that she had to brave through this one challenge to beco stronger coming out of it.

I slithered over to her and she flinched. It seems that despite the fact that I saved her life, she was still fearful of . Which is fair, I am a demon, and we don’t have the greatest reputations. Plus, I killed three of her party mbers, but she doesn’t need to know that.

I stopped a little bit in front of her and sat on my tail once again, ignoring the corpse behind .

"So, what now?" I asked blankly.

"Huh?" Lia stared at

confused.

"Well... What are you going to do now? The goddess won’t let you go and will likely send stronger people after you if she has them." I explained the dire circumstances that she was in.

"Then can you-"

"No. I’m sorry, but I can’t protect you. I have my own journey that I’m taking, and I can’t bring you with , you wouldn’t survive." I rejected her cry for help. "Besides, I’ve interfered enough as is, and I don’t want a target on my back. With my background I already have tons." I said that last part with a laugh, except it was anything but humorous.

Lia lowered her head as she took in my words. "Then... What do I do?"

"Honestly? ..." I wasn’t sure how to answer that as I hadn’t been in such a situation like hers, so I just spouted sothing that seed reasonable, "Just run away, leave this life behind and start a new one."

"But, I have nowhere to go..." She responded despondently.

"Are there not other kingdoms that would take you in?" I asked.

"No, they would just throw

back to those zealots." She explained.

"Malafantic’s." I pointed out.

"Yeah, them..." She fell silent after that.

"... Maybe you could... Go... To..." I tried to suggest her to go into the forest nation, but I couldn’t bring myself to say it, it hurt

too much just rembering its na.

Lia could see my struggling and reached out to

but stopped and pulled her hand back.

"We both clearly have issues, you more so than , from what I can tell..." She paused. "But, could you at least take my virginity? Just to break the pact seal."

I considered her words, and it I suppose that it was the least I could do for her after what I’ve done to harm her, even if it wasn’t intentional.

"I suppose it’s the least I can do, but are you sure that this is the right thing to do? For you I an."

"What do you an by that? Of course I’m sure, this will break the pact with the goddess. That was what was used to create it and bind

after all."

"And there aren’t any repercussions when it’s broken?" I inquired further, not wanting to harm her because of this.

"No, not as far as I’m aware. I don’t think it was expected that it would ever get broken, even down here. Everyone was always too protective of

to let

near the traps for fear of making

lose my virginity, even my sister, who was always so adamant about living such a free life..."

Ah shit. I hope she wasn’t one of the two that I ate. Speaking of they’re still wriggling about down there. But that’s not important right now.

"Why are you even down here in the first place then? If you can’t lose your virginity then what’s the point in being here?" I asked confused as to why that dead wench behind

would lead her down here.

"To train my will and resilience or sothing to that effect. She wanted

to build up a tolerance to sexual things, desensitise

if you will, but it backfired as I just had more desire to have sex."

"I see..."

The silence that descended upon us once more was deafening. And both of us weren’t that well versed when it ca to conversing with others. Sure, we could seemingly keep ourselves involved, but if a topic ended like this, we wouldn’t know where to go after that.

I eventually spoke up, rembering sothing that Lia said. "You ntioned your sister, what was she like?"

Lia then told

about her sister, "She’s a nice girl, very horny though. Hayly, or rather Gaysa, didn’t want her to be part of our party, but I refused to leave her, even though she was my big sister, I didn’t want to leave her alone, so I begged for her to be part of our party. Eventually, she managed to convince us to co to this dungeon under the pretence of ’training’ but I’m you can guess her real purpose."

"To have sex?" I questioned, as that was the only real thing that anyone would do here.

"Well, that was what she wanted, but I could tell that she had other motives, what they were, I don’t know. Maybe she was trying to get

to lose my virginity because she could see through Hayly’s lies, or maybe she was just really horny. I don’t know... I miss her..." She started crying as she spoke more about her sister, wanting to see her and embrace her again.

I looked down and began hoping that she was the one that was still stuck up in that trap up there. I could still vaguely recall what she looked like, and I’m sure that I could find so record of her appearance with my powers as Dungeon Master anyways just to double check if need be.

"What did she look like?"

"... She was a pretty woman, like . Her body was much mor alluring than mine though, thicker and more mature too, and her hair is shinier than mine as well. It’s actually white hair despite the fact that it looks black, and that’s because she dyed it that way to hide her special features." She went on to explain more about her sister’s appearance as well as her likes and dislikes.

This was good, it ant that she was healing to so extent by talking about her sister. And if I recall, the two won in my stomach had blonde and brown hair? I can’t rember.

That was when I decided to drop her sister down here. So I willed the dungeon to release her from the trap and she landed on the floor as if she was expecting this.

Like what Lia said about her, her hair was indeed whit, most likely because the trap removed the dye used to make it black.

"Yo! Thanks for this by the way!" She greeted

with a cheery attitude and a thumbs up.
