"Roar!"
A painful cry echoed from one of the Sea Kings.
Mio didn't initially want to make enemies of these sea kings. After all, they were ancient beasts, old monsters that had lived through countless years. In the deep sea, size was often a mark of age, and the bigger the body, the older and more intelligent the creature usually was.
That's why Mio's voice was calm but resolute as he gave the order. "Hanba, if they refuse to leave... kill them all."
"Yes," Hanba replied, nodding. He turned to face the giant sea kings again, his breath becoming increasingly fierce. In a blink, his body was cloaked in Armant Haki. Then, he charged.
Despite being smaller in size, Hanba's destructive power far surpassed any of them.
Mio didn't linger. He turned around and prepared to leave. Yet behind him, he could still hear the violent roars and painful howls.
Hanba had latched onto one of the sea kings, sinking his fangs into its body. With a savage twist, he tore off a massive chunk of flesh. After chewing briefly, he swallowed it whole.
The powerful energy within surged through him. Another sea king attacked from behind, but Hanba's tail lashed out, hurling the attacker away with a massive shockwave.
Hanba rarely fought—but that didn't an he was weak. On the contrary, he was imnsely powerful. It was just that his overwhelming size often made combat... inconvenient.
But now?
He was in his elent.
A ferocious gleam lit up his eyes as he fixated on another sea king. Licking his lips, Hanba let out a low growl. "You taste delicious. Give a few more bites."
"ROAR!" ca the furious response.
These creatures were once the undisputed rulers of the deep. They never imagined they'd be hunted like prey, let alone considered food by this red-skinned monster.
Yet under Hanba's gaze, they shuddered. Even the sea king who had already been bitten trembled and instinctively shrank back, clearly terrified and seeking to retreat.
...
anwhile, Mio, Erica, and the others had already left Fishman Street.
Mio was unaware of Hanba's ongoing rampage, nor did he care. His Observation Haki had already been withdrawn.
They returned to the hotel, and Mio turned his thoughts to leaving—but before doing so, he had to make arrangents for Fishman Island's protection.
Even though the island now flew the Black Crow flag, without stationed guards, greedy pirates and slave-hunters would inevitably co to prey on the residents again.
So, he had to leave so forces behind—at least a contingent of the Black Crows.
After pondering for a while, Mio made his decision.
He gave Hei Yan a command, and the man departed swiftly. Mio then returned to his seat, waiting quietly as the training process continued.
Then, a prompt appeared before him.

"Human-type," Mio responded instantly.
Seconds passed before another ssage appeared.

Looking at the status panel, Mio's expression turned odd.
Especially at the first listed ability—Feminization.
He hesitated. Should he extract abilities from this creature? What if he ended up like Ivankov, bouncing between genders? Not that he'd beco a full okama, but still...
Mio shook his head violently, trying to rid himself of the image forming in his mind.
Yet, not extracting would be a waste. "Strong Body" and "Shocking Power" were incredible boosts to physical prowess. And even without flashy powers, gaining one-tenth of the creature's attributes would be a massive advantage.
He hesitated.
Eventually, he muttered, "Let's summon the creature first..."
Then suddenly rembered the Overweight trait.
Right—Noah's weight was absolutely monstrous.
If this creature carried even a portion of Noah's mass, summoning it now could collapse Fishman Island.
Mio's mouth twitched. With a sigh, he postponed the summoning. He'd wait until they left the island.
As for the ability extraction? He'd consider it later.
"Either way... this one's another powerhouse." Mio chuckled to himself.
The creature's abilities weren't flashy, but its physical stats were off the charts. A single punch from this being might be unstoppable.
Mio had created many creatures—so strong, so intelligent—but never one with Shocking Power before.
That said enough about this new titan's might.
He was looking forward to seeing it in action.
Just then...
Knock knock knock.
Soone was at the door.
"Co in," Mio called.
The door creaked open. Araki stepped in.
"Boss."
Mio crossed one leg over the other, his expression serious. "Fishman Island is under the protection of the Black Crows now. You already know that. But this island is also vital to our future plans. We need to raise our reputation here. I'm leaving soon—but soone needs to stay behind to defend against pirates and slavers. Understand?"
Araki grinned. "No problem, boss."
"But," he added with a smirk, "make sure Katsumata Takeru rotates in once in a while. It'll get boring if I'm stuck here too long."
