On the shore, Mio drew his sword and slashed. A stream of sharp sword energy burst out and swept across the injured beasts on the ground.
"Congratulations on collecting the [Leopard] gene!"

"Congratulations on collecting the [Titan Python] gene!"
"Congratulations on collecting the [Giant Wild Boar] gene!"

Prompt ssages appeared on the panel one after another.
Looking at these notifications, Mio nodded in satisfaction. He then found a cage, placed the captured crow inside, and took out a Devil Fruit from his inventory to begin a lottery draw.
This Devil Fruit was the Ancient Zoan-type Dire Wolf Fruit, previously owned by a Celestial Dragon. Although valuable, Mio had no plans to use it himself. Instead, he preferred to convert it into a lottery ticket. As for the Scythe Dragon Fruit, he intended to keep that one for later creature cultivation. Scythe Dragons were extrely powerful among dinosaurs and had great base attributes, making them ideal candidates for breeding strong beings.
With a thought, his system panel appeared in front of him.
Mio clicked on the "Lottery" tab. The Dire Wolf Fruit instantly transford into a lottery chance. At the sa ti, a massive roulette wheel materialized before him.
The wheel displayed all sorts of strange and exotic gene types. Every ti Mio looked at it, his eyes lit up with anticipation. His heart surged with desire at the endless possibilities.
Among the many gene types shown, several new ones stood out—genes from the Yu-Gi-Oh! world.

While Mio recognized many from the ani, he didn't always understand their exact powers—he only rembered so of their stats or attack values. Still, he knew one thing: many of the powerful monsters from that world were terrifyingly strong. Especially the Three Egyptian God cards. If those ever appeared on the wheel and he managed to win one, Mio was confident he could beco virtually invincible in this world.
After all, the three Egyptian Gods represented earth, sky, and the sun—deities of raw power and divine rule. Even aside from them, one of the genes Mio wanted the most from the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe was the Dark Master gene. Now that was sothing with real potential.
"Hah..."
Taking a deep breath, Mio looked at the roulette wheel one last ti before pressing the "Spin" button.
The wheel began spinning rapidly.
Mio closed his eyes almost imdiately, choosing to rely on the system notification to tell him the result. By shutting his eyes, he silenced the anticipation in his heart and waited calmly for fate to decide.
Seconds passed.
"Congratulations on winning the [Elental Hero – Wingman] gene through the lottery!"
Upon hearing the ssage, Mio's eyes opened wide, a spark of excitent gleaming in them. "This gene!" he exclaid with enthusiasm.
The Elental Hero – Wingman gene belonged to the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe, and as the na implied, it was part of the Elental Hero line. Wingman's primary ability was wind-based—commanding elental power, particularly wind—and that was a huge advantage. Not only was it a form of elental manipulation, but the gene also ca with enhanced physical attributes.
Even without knowing the exact scope of Wingman's powers, Mio could tell that it was a powerful asset. The combination of wind manipulation and heroic physical strength made it ideal for cultivating powerful hybrid creatures.
With a thought, Mio closed the lottery panel and dismissed the roulette wheel.
"Next, I just need the genes of the three birds." A small smile crept onto Mio's lips.
As long as he could obtain the genes of the three rare bird species, he could begin his next cultivation experint.
Shaking his head lightly, Mio left the cabin and went to find Robin. He planned to return to the forest with her. After all, searching together would be faster and more efficient.
Ti passed quickly, and four days went by in the blink of an eye.
It turned out that tracking down the rare birds was more difficult than expected. Even in the vast Kaisia Islands, such creatures were rare and elusive. But after days of tireless hunting, Mio and his group finally succeeded. They secured the genes of three target bird species, in addition to the ones they'd already collected—South-South Bird, East-South-West Bird, and so on. Together, the complete set of bird genes was finally in Mio's possession.
Night fell.
Inside the restaurant aboard the Black Glory, Mio was enjoying a well-earned dinner prepared by Erica. The al was made from the at of various powerful beasts and sea monsters, paired with a fine bottle of whiskey. It was the perfect reward for several days of hard work.
After dinner, Mio headed to the special containnt room where the Saker Falcon was being kept.
As soon as he entered, the falcon glared at him with sharp, piercing eyes—like twin blades cutting through the air. It had the kind of gaze that would make most people shrink back in fear.
"I'll turn you into sothing far more magnificent," Mio murmured with a grin. "Just wait a little longer."
He summoned the system panel again, scanning the gene list he had acquired over the past few days.

Elental Hero – Wingman Gene (from the lottery)
Influence Fruit Ability Gene
Monkey-Eating Eagle Gene
White Wolf Gene
These were top-tier genes with impressive growth potential.
Notably, the Monkey-Eating Eagle gene was from a bird of prey that fed on monkeys—a fearso predator. Combined with the Wingman gene, which granted elental wind powers, and the superior physical traits of the white wolf, this next creature would surely be formidable.
Mio also considered the Soul-Wounding Bird gene and the Crow gene but ultimately decided not to use them in this cultivation. He had other plans for those genes.
After finalizing the gene selection in his mind, Mio drew his blade—Raikiri.

With one swift motion, he slashed through the cage and inflicted a deep wound on the Saker Falcon. Even with all its ferocity and potential, the bird was still nothing in front of Mio's controlled power.
Blood trickled down its white feathers, staining them red.
With a silent command, Mio moved the injured bird into a cultivation tank. The tank hissed as it activated, and Mio pulled up the gene interface, dragging the selected genes into the fusion slot.
Then, he pressed the [Cultivate] button.
The machine began to hum.
Soon, the system presented the first prompt:
[Please choose the cultivation direction: Human form? – Beast form?]
Mio rubbed his chin and replied with a calm voice, "Humanoid."
[Selection confird.]
The machine continued to process the information, combining the selected genes. Mio watched intently, anticipation building in his chest.
He had high hopes for this fusion—the elental and physical synergy was ideal.
Half an hour passed.
Then the system ssage popped up:
