Chapter 2154: Chapter 2153: Intercepted

Another day has passed.

Ling Feng was leisurely blowing the sea breeze in the woods, watching the distant sea view while observing the situation at the Arican base.

Now there are already more than a hundred people infected over there, with mild symptoms being just coughs, while severe ones start to have fevers, weakness all over, and breathing becos rapid.

Soone has already noticed sothing is wrong, but Philip’s side showed no reaction. Faced with skepticism, he just said it was a common cold and had reported it to his superiors.

Ling Feng found this extrely frustrating, thinking to himself that those soldiers were quite pitiful, having been sold out by their superiors without even knowing it!

Gu Li had already received Ling Feng’s orders. All intelligence resources were focused on observing the various Arican bases, investigating what was happening there.

Subsequently, a large amount of information was compiled and sent to Ling Feng’s phone via email.

Although no solid evidence was obtained, it was clear that the Arican bases were experiencing incidents!

From the outside information obtained, they had entered a state of high alert, with even chaos appearing within the camp!

Seeing this, Ling Feng laughed.

This indicated that his actions were effective; Aricans wanted to cause chaos in Asia through the virus, but their own bases had fallen instead.

Now, not only is there a good show to watch, but the Aricans must be in a flustered state!

Ling Feng thought for a mont, feeling that spying on the Bangzi Country had no more significance, so under the cover of night, he jumped onto Ghost Dragon’s back and flew towards the Pacific Ocean.

Two hours later, Ling Feng arrived near Guan Island.

He knew this place was an important Arican base, with one-third of the island being their territory, and Arica had heavily reinforced it to secure this first outpost leading to Asia.

Ling Feng felt he might have been detected by radar, so he didn’t let Ghost Dragon fly directly over Guan Island; instead, he started descending in altitude when he was about a hundred kiloters away.

Then he flew close to the water surface and, when near the shore, Ling Feng jumped directly off Ghost Dragon’s back and landed on the shore with a few consecutive leaps from the water surface.

Divine Sense had already expanded, finding no activity on the island; it appeared the Aricans had lost their target, so they hadn’t detected his landing.

Ling Feng smirked and then headed towards the depths of the island, finding a relatively hidden spot to start observing.

Having been here before, he easily found Smith, the white-haired old man sitting in the command cabin of the aircraft carrier, eyebrows furrowed.

Beside him were a few officers, looking like advisers or similar, with everyone having a worried expression in their eyebrows, just like him.

Ling Feng knew they were troubled by the incidents occurring at various bases, so he laughed inwardly, thinking, "Those who harm others always end up harming themselves; this ti you’ve tasted your own dicine, haven’t you?"

Observing Smith’s expression, sensing this guy might have been infected too, Ling Feng thought he doubted if Smith would still give out the antidote!

He believed the vaccine and antidote must be on the aircraft carrier, and if this thing got publicly released, the infectious disease that alard the world would imdiately be recognized as Arica’s doing!

So, for secrecy, Smith hadn’t dared to release it.

But now, with the situation critical, if he didn’t release it soon, soldiers would die from the virus, and by then, he could not shoulder such a huge responsibility.

Ling Feng sensed Smith’s dilemma and knew the ti was nearly ripe; the guy was about to make a decision!

Ti reached deep night, in the quiet command cabin, Smith’s face turned pale, after taking a few deep breaths, suddenly coughed a few tis.

Everyone’s gaze turned towards him, all with shocked faces!

Even Smith himself was startled, taking several deep breaths, but the coughing did not stop; instead, it beca more severe!

"Major General, we can’t go on like this, you’re obviously infected, quickly get the dicine out!" An advisor said.

"Cough, cough, cough..."

Smith coughed violently, finally calming down after a while, then gasped, saying, "Quick, use my code, open the sealed cabin!"

While speaking, he fumbled a small envelope from his pocket.

Ling Feng watched this scene and thought, what a great guy, handling it like a nuclear missile code, you really are cautious!

Seeing that code, he knew he couldn’t wait any longer, so he stood up, activated the Invisibility Ring, and shot out like a cannonball!

After receiving the code, the advisor imdiately left the command cabin, hurriedly heading to the rooms within the aircraft carrier.

Passing through several decks, arriving at the door of the innermost room, he opened the envelope, took out a slip of paper printed with a sixteen-digit alphanuric combination, and entered it on the door.

"Beep beep."

The buzzer sounded, the electronic lock was unlocked, the heavy ship door slowly opened.

The officer stepped inside, completely unaware of the wind blowing past behind him.

Arriving at a large blue, colossal low-temperature storage box, he reached out to open the sliding door.

Inside were rows of identical syringes, densely packed in their thousands.

The officer reached to take one, but at that mont unexpected headwind struck; before he could react, he felt a pain in the back of his head, and then he slumped to the floor with a sound and lost consciousness.

Ling Feng appeared, let out a cold laugh, looking at the storage cabinet, extended his hand, and loaded it into his Space Ring.

Turning to look at the sealed cabin filled with confidential items, various docunts and such, Ling Feng didn’t hold back and took them all away too.

After clearing out the sealed cabin, he turned to look at the officer slumped on the ground, thinking he needn’t wake up, as Smith would discover his long absence and certainly send soone to look for him.

Thus Ling Feng didn’t bother with this person, directly initiating the teleportation.

There’s a transit Teleportation Array nearby leading to Arica; leaving this way, the Aricans would be completely unaware of his theft of the virus redy.

Even if they guessed, without concrete evidence, the Aricans could only stare idly!

After teleporting away, Ling Feng first rushed to Capital City.

Then, to ensure safety, he still notified Han Wancheng to imdiately prepare a disinfection chamber, where he placed the syringes and left quickly, and after decontaminating them, they could be used for treating severe cases and research replication.

As for himself, he would temporarily avoid contact with anyone to prevent transmitting the virus to others.

Though there’s already an antidote, this step could be skipped, but Ling Feng decided to observe first.

The reaction from Capital City was swift, taking just over two hours to prepare the disinfection chamber.
