Chapter 383: Chapter 383: He Has Two Faces

Chapter 383

She slumped to the ground, powerless, her face showing a look of utter shock and emptiness.

Alexander Foster closed the passenger door without giving Sienna McCarty another glance and walked to the driver’s side.

Suddenly, Sienna McCarty sprang up and approached him, gritting her teeth and staring at him, "You’ll regret it. You definitely will!"

Alexander looked at her coldly and said, "As an employee, the most basic professionalism is to obey orders, not to instruct and threaten your boss."

Sienna’s angry expression was hit with a shock, like a bucket of cold water pouring down on her.

By the ti she ca back to her senses, Alexander’s car had slowly driven away.

"No... Mr. Foster... Mr. Foster, I was wrong! Give

another chance!"

Because the car had just started and hadn’t gone far, she quickly ran to the car window.

Through the car window, she kept apologizing.

Alexander’s cold face showed no sign of lting, and the indifference in his eyes was as hard as steel.

The car quickly slipped away, leaving Sienna’s screams behind.

She panicked and ran after the car, but how could she outrun a car with her two legs? She couldn’t even see the car before she left the Parking Lot.

The night was vast, and gusts of cold wind blew in from outside, hitting Chloe Collins’ fair cheek.

At this mont, she saw the car window slowly rise, and the heat turned on inside.

"It’s almost November, the weather is getting colder, wear more when you go out." He said.

Chloe glanced down at her coat and didn’t think she was underdressed.

"I’m not afraid of the cold," she said softly.

Alex: "Your body will be cold."

Chloe gave him a glance and said helplessly, "Alright."

Only then did Alex’s unwell expression slowly relax, and the corners of his lips lifted in a slight smile.

Chloe leaned her hand against her head, half-closing her eyes to rest, but the mont she closed her eyes, the scene of his conversation with Sienna erged in her mind.

It was at that mont that she suddenly realized sothing:

She was wrong.

His personality was genuinely cold.

Everyone said he was cold, but she hadn’t experienced it much before.

Even when she first entered the Fosters, the first ti she saw him, her first impression was not of being a stranger, but of familiarity.

She didn’t feel left out at all.

But just now, seeing how he dealt with Sienna, she realized he had two sides.

One side was awkward and proud, the other was cold and rciless.

Thinking about this, she lifted her eyes and quietly glanced at him.

He was focusing on driving, his eyes staring straight ahead at the road.

Her phone in her pocket vibrated, and Chloe’s thoughts scattered.

She picked it up and answered the call.

"Oh, I’m on my way back now."

"It’s okay, how’s everything on your end?"

On the other end of the phone, Damien Hart sounded apologetic, "I’m heading back to the hotel now, what a pity, we could have had dinner and chatted tonight."

Chloe gave a faint smile: "There will be other chances."

"Katie said the proposal news still leaked out a bit. I’m worried about you getting involved."

Chloe switched hands with the phone and said, "You’re the one being proposed to, soone else is wearing the wedding dress, how could it involve ?"

At this, Alexander Foster perked up his ears quietly to listen.

On the other end, Damien laughed a few tis, with a hint of foolishness. "You’re beautiful, and we were both in the sa Private room. So people will imagine us as a couple. It’s happened before with other celebrities."

Chloe didn’t really care, and said, "You’ve had so many rumored girlfriends, adding

wouldn’t change anyone’s mind. As long as you don’t admit it, your fans will help you clarify everything. There’s no need to worry."
