Chapter 242: Chapter 242: Solitary Confinent

Chapter 242

Ford listens carefully for a while.

His complexion changes slightly, he turns to look at Alexander Foster, and says, "There’s the voice of a little girl."

Alexander Foster points to a direction, his expression calm, "Walk in that direction for about fifty ters."

Ford imdiately helps him over there.

The terrain they were on was slightly higher, they walked a few ters forward, bypassing the highest point, and as they descended, they spotted a wooden house.

The wooden house was surrounded by a modern fence, and there was a sign that read: No trespassing.

Ford glanced to the side and saw the young girl leaning against a window.

She was holding a piece of grass, staring blankly at them, not saying anything.

She looked as though she had noticed them coming along ti ago.

But...

Ford looked around, but from this angle, it seed impossible.

Their footsteps were also very light.

"Mr. Ford, why have we stopped?" Alexander Foster spoke up.

"Erm, Young Master, the one talking just now should be the young lady who ca to play chess with you a few days ago, she’s inside a wooden house."

"Hey, Junior!" Ca a clear female voice from afar.

Alexander Foster furrowed his brows, "Who is she calling?"

Ford wipes away so sweat, "It seems like she’s calling for you, Young Master."

"Nineteen, why have you co over here?" Another voice rang out.

Alexander Foster’s thin lips curved into a faint smile, "Let’s go take a look."

As he walked closer, he could hear the girl’s laughter, sounding like a silver bell, she seed to be very happy.

From the sound of it, she was about five ters away from him in the opposite direction, slightly higher.

"You guys are the second group of fresh faces I’ve seen in these past few days."

"What are you doing here?" Ford asked.

Chloe Collins was leaning against the window, looking at them, after a couple of seconds, she said, "Doing howork."

"That’s not true."

Suddenly, another voice popped up.

Ford looked over and saw a little monk, about two or three years younger than the young girl, running out.

He looked at them and said, "Eleven has been punished by Master for committing a mistake. She’s been grounded for two weeks and today is already the third day. This is nothing new for her."

Alexander Foster found this amusing and asked, "What did she do wrong?"

"She hunted and roasted two wild chickens just to satiate her greed."

Alexander Foster stifled a smirk, "Just like that?"

"Isn’t that enough?" the little monk expressed his surprise.

Alexander Foster lifted his head, directing his words towards the direction of the young lady, "Young lady, if you were hungry, why didn’t you say anything?"

"Why should I tell you?"

Alexander Foster was at a loss for words.

Then he heard the young girl sigh, "I really want to go out and play, Thirteen. Hurry back and plead with Master for . Tell him I’m going to die of boredom if I don’t go out."

"Senior, you’re lying. Master will only increase the punishnt if you lie."

"Just go."

"Okay, I’ll give it a try."

After their conversation, Alexander Foster assud the little monk had left. However, he soon heard a tender voice, "Nineteen, I’m heading off first."

Only then did he hear the sound of the boy running off.

Alexander Foster’s face turned gloomy.

Trying not to laugh, Ford observed his Young Master’s expression and suggested, "Young Master, should I help you go inside and sit down?"

There was a canopy outside the wooden house with tables and chairs placed underneath it.

Alexander Foster nodded.

They had just walked a few steps when they heard a whizzing sound. It wasn’t very smooth.

He stopped bending over and asked Ford, "What’s that sound?"

Ford glanced over and said, "Oh, it’s the young lady practicing archery, she nearly got it!"

Ford chuckled.
