Chapter 100: Chapter 100: Rolo Woods

Chapter 100: Rolo Woods

Alexander Foster held a delicate little bag in his hand containing a cup of milk tea and a box of small cakes.

He was still wearing the ironed and well-fitted suit, obviously just coming from his company.

As footsteps approached, the coldness in his eyes instantly lted. He turned his head to look, and instantly, it cooled down again.

"Where is she?"

"She’s not coming back." Robert Foster waved his hand, "She said she’s staying at a classmate’s house tonight and won’t be back."

"At a classmate’s house?" The man’s face darkened.

"Yeah."

"Which classmate?"

Robert Foster was stunned, "I didn’t ask..."

As he spoke, he suddenly noticed the things in his brother’s hand, "Did you buy these for ?"

Even as he said it, he didn’t believe it himself.

Noticing his brother’s displeased expression, he didn’t dare to continue joking.

One hour later, at the Fosters’ residence.

Mr. Willis called Alex to report that Chloe Collins hadn’t gone to Layla Lowell’s house, and Lydia Lowell had returned ho alone.

"Mr. Foster, should we continue to investigate? Miss Collins must have other classmates too."

Alex casually ordered, "No need."

As he hung up the phone, his mother’s hand reached over.

"Son, have so fruit." Evelyn Thompson smiled.

Alex casually moved her hand away, "No need."

Evelyn Thompson took a bite of the fruit and complained, "You’re so picky – you’ve never liked eating fruit since you were young."

Alex didn’t respond.

Evelyn Thompson changed the topic: "Have you two thought about what birthday gifts to give Grandpa? Next week is Grandpa’s birthday, so those who haven’t prepared should hurry."

Mr. Foster also said, "That’s right, today Cherry told us that they have prepared everything. Your eldest brother has designed a set of tea utensils by himself. Little Three has also bought gifts from France. Cherry said she would wash Grandpa’s feet as a gift on that day. It’s a very good present."

Evelyn Thompson put down her fork and said, "These are nothing. Most importantly, the Young Master of the Spence family is said to be offering a calligraphy piece to the Master. In order to write it well, he painstakingly sought out a master to study with. Recently, he has been practicing. You two need to think carefully so outsiders won’t say that you are less considerate to Grandpa."

Robert Foster patted his chest confidently, "Don’t worry, Mom. My brother and I have prepared it early. We won’t be worse than them."

William Foster said, "Speaking of calligraphy, my father ntioned that he has invited Rolo Woods to the birthday this ti. It seems that the Master really loves calligraphy."

"Rolo Woods?" Evelyn Thompson was puzzled. She did not understand much about calligraphy.

Alex explained, "A very famous calligrapher in our country, he is the chairman of the National Calligraphy Association."

"What’s important is that he’s very young." William Foster took a sip of tea and laughed, "I heard he’s a man in his early thirties, a few years older than Alex, and still single."

Robert Foster raised his eyebrows, "Dad, how did you notice this?"

William Foster smiled, "Your grandfather told . He has the intention of setting up him and Cherry."

"Ah? With Cherry? There’s quite an age gap!" Robert Foster widened his eyes.

As soon as the words fell, he felt a dazzling cold light coming from the side.

Robert Foster quickly offered an apologetic smile to his older brother, "Not really that big. Nowadays, it’s popular for people in their twenties to date teens."

Just as Alex’s phone vibrated, he ignored his brother’s comnt.

A ssage ca from Maurice Willis, Mr. Willis’ assistant.

[Boss, I accidentally found out where Miss Collins is. She’s at a classmate’s house in Southvale’s Riverside. Currently, I only saw her, and I didn’t see which classmate specifically.]

Alex stood up.

"Hey son, where are you going? It’s almost ti for dinner."

"I have sothing to do." He replied indifferently and left.
