The three of them looked at Song Xiaodong, and Yao ngfei said with a grin, "I don't know how to address this big boss?"
Song Xiaodong replied indifferently, "You're not worthy to know ."
"Damn!" At this, the three of them turned green, and Yao ngfei, despite his anger, laughed and said, "You really know how to show off. Fine, let's et at the poker table, starting at ten thousand, each hand capped at a million. Dare to play?"
"Sure, bring it on." Song Xiaodong replied nonchalantly, as if such a high stake didn't concern him at all.
Yao ngfei directly tossed the deck of cards in front of Song Xiaodong and said, "You can verify the cards. Don't say we're bullying an outsider like you."
Song Xiaodong casually picked up the deck, opened it, shuffled it a couple of tis, and said, "Let's begin."
Yao ngfei said, "Hold on, how are we settling up afterward?"
Song Xiaodong said, "What's the big deal? Whoever loses to
can just transfer the money; I'm not afraid of you guys skipping on the bill."
"Damn, you think we would skip out? It's probably you who's going to! Hell, do you even think you can win? It's laughable."
Soone imdiately said, "I'll use my phone to keep track of scores for you guys."
Song Xiaodong shrugged and said, "Whatever."
Su Yao wanted to stop him but found it impossible under these circumstances, so she just said, "I'll keep score too."
Yao ngfei picked up the deck, passed it to Song Xiaodong, and said, "Cut the cards."
Song Xiaodong casually cut the cards, and then Yao ngfei dealt three cards to each person.
Lin Bing was first, and at this mont, he looked at Song Xiaodong and said, "The first hand can't be taken seriously; I'm putting forth ten thousand without looking."
Betting without looking at cards ans that if anyone behind wants to look and then call, they have to double it, but since they're betting blind, they have no idea what their cards are, making it a small bet but a huge gamble.
Wu Jiang after him said, "There's no reason not to call on the first hand; I'll call too."
Song Xiaodong replied casually, "Call."
Yao ngfei snorted, "Then I must call too."
When it was Lin Bing's turn again, he said, "I'll add another ten thousand."
Wu Jiang said, "Then I'll take a look at my cards." After looking, he smiled and said, "Seems decent, I'll call twenty thousand."
Looking at the cards ans calling with twice the stake.
Song Xiaodong didn't touch his cards and directly said, "I'll make another blind bet."
Su Yao was startled, leaned in to whisper in Song Xiaodong's ear, "They've all looked at their cards; maybe you should check too."
Song Xiaodong laughed, "No rush; we're playing small to gain big. I'm putting in ten thousand, he's got to put in twenty, and with the others, it's at least a four-to-one return, so so risks are worth taking."
Su Yao twitched her lips; if we're talking about investnt, not to ntion 400%, even a 100% return would justify taking great risks, but this is gambling; it's different.
Yao ngfei frowned, "Kid, you sure know how to calculate, but don't forget, your chances of winning are even lower. I'll go blind with you."
In the third round, Lin Bing continued the blind bet, as did Song Xiaodong, Wu Jiang kept his hand in, and after glancing at his cards, Yao ngfei joined in too.
Song Xiaodong smiled at Su Yao, "See, now I have a one in five bet; the rate of return is even higher."
"Pfft, I think your chances of winning just got smaller." Wu Jiang tapped the table with his finger, indicating he was still in.
The fourth round began. Lin Bing frowned; the three of them usually had a good rapport, but playing like this targeted Song Xiaodong. If all three continued to stay in and Song Xiaodong ended up winning, they'd suffer a big loss, so he decided to check his cards.
